Because... Its called reverse engineering. Sure you can get them from commendations but thats not the point of a crafting skill... Crafting is so you can make them.. sell them... and make mass profit. If everyone was just self-sufficient then crafting would not exist in game.

I still find alot of purple crystals in level 40/50 pvp gear.. thats about it thus far

Honestly... I am sure you could be making way more than that because right now people are just dying for money. Any good slicer is going to buy all of this stuff up and bank it. Prices will skyrocket when people max level and start to craft and want to powerlevel it.

I believe it can be purchased at a crafting materials vendor in any city next to the trainers. Also believe its available from a gathering skill. Not sure which one tho.

AAAAAND other skills will make more than enough credits from selling stuff after being maxed. Eventually it should even surpass slicing if they do it right... Problem?:D:D:D

Slicing is only good now just because the crafting is pure profit. I can tell you right now that in the end slicing will pale in comparison to what actual crafting can do. So I promise. Dont cry. It will all even out <3

In my honest opinion... Missions from your phone would be extremely stupid.. Last thing we need for people with multiple accounts to sit there and farm credits. Just play the bloody game and stop crying that it takes time. This isnt WoW... its not meant to be a faceroll game. Stop being a bad.

Speaking of wealthy... Is there such a thing as an archaeology or slicing discovery quest? I have yet to see one..

I believe that the number of companions you obtain is actually by the way you progress through the questline. If you say enough of the right things there is an opportunity to gain a new companion. Currently my main is a level 24 Sith Marauder and I have 3 companions. However I know that I could have missed my third one should I have done the quest a bit differently. Its just a matter of gauging the NPC's reactions to your actions and playing to what they like. Whether its Vette who is Chaotic Neutral as in she just wants you to stick it to the man.

From what I understand they are a difficulty level however... that being said. Should you do a mission that is out of your current range there is a chance to procure a higher level mission chest I believe. But if you did that same mission and it was a grey it should not reward much at all because it's too low. Just a theory.
