Or you have the ones that are complaining about not being added to the server transfer list within three hours of it starting. The only ones who I understand ANY complaints about the subject are the poor Europes who are on the PVP-RP server, since they have been told that even though their server is dead, they won't get the free transfer. Luckily, their voices were heard and Bioware is taking their recommendations into consideration to help resolve the issue. So yes, if what you proposed here had happened, I'd be right there with you to file a complaint. However "I want to be transferred NOW or I'm Unsubbing" is no more valid "I want to switch my Advanced Class on my level 50 and since I put in all that time I should be able to." Where it should have been nothing but happy campers because that's what they wanted, instead we got "Cry cry I want to keep my name Bioware you're doing it wrong even though I can't name one service that would do what I am proposing you to do!" Then you have the ones that just try feeding false information to try and "troll" the user base. The other night I saw someone post a link to a self proclaimed reliable source that there were only 354 people exactly on every server.

T7 is a beast. I just keep him updated with quest rewards and he basically dominates the battlefield for me.

But lets look at this fact of time: If you had rerolled when you realized your server had such low population that it was annoying you to log in and play, you would have been caught up with what you had six months ago, plus some. I think it would be a good idea. that way you can get a message out to the guild members who are not online without having to replace the MotD.

If you get the name that's already taken, someone is losing that name. This is what you people are not understanding. I will say it again. You people are not above any one else because you like your name that much. you do not hold some godlike position above everyone else in the pecking order, having the ability to force someone else to change their name in order for you to have it. There is no need to tell you that you are doomed, because there is nothing to be doomed from when it would never happen. Throughout all this bickering, I have not heard of one example of where a company actually did what you all are proposing, so I would like to know of one game where the company allowed the removal of one persons name to cater to someone who is transfering over.

Entitlement much? Let me know of one game that would tell another user to change their name because another user is transfering over to the server and wants the name. You lot seem to completely disregard the fact that when you take the name that's already taken, someone is losing that name. Someone who may want the name... JUST AS MUCH AS YOU I know this may be a hard concept to grasp you little minds around, but you are not the most important person to ever befall the galaxy of TOR. you are a player, just like the rest of us. You are not above anyone because you are a higher level, you are not above anyone because they don't pay a subscription. You are not one to say that said person who is not pay a subscription will never return to the game. Do you see where this is going?

Not to mention the fact that while person A may want to make the change on Coruscant, person B wants to on Balmorra. The amount of work associated would be endless.
