  1. Psh, you could have asked me in game... Anyway, the one I'm running with right now is http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#100bIbRr****zZhGb.1 Edit: where the stars are in the link is supposed to be o M f G, without the spaces obviously. The accuracy from Narrowed Hatred lets you swap out enhancements in your gear, and the extra rage from Enraged Charge lets you do an opening of Force Charge > Deadly Saber > Rupture > Annihilation, without having to force an Assault in the middle of it. There are several other good builds here: http://sithwarrior.com/forums/Thread-Annihilation-Watchmen-Compendium
  2. I don't have problems with ops anymore. I'll watch you next time you're on and see what you're doing. The only class that can give me problems 1v1 are very skilled darkness assassins.
  3. Anything where the damage is yellow is a force attack, and is effected by willpower. So yes, get the willpower datacrons.
  4. Your crit chance is kinda low, but ok...
  5. Marauder is very squishy when your defensive abilities are all on cd. Our defensive cds make us very hard to kill, though.
  6. At lower levels they are weaker than other classes. Bioware does not, however, balance around lower levels. By level 50 they have caught up to other classes, and at top end gearing they are the strongest melee class and one of the strongest all around dps in the game. I can take pretty much anyone 1v1, and I have won 2v1 before. For all of you who quit Marauder in the 30s because it wasn't strong yet, you will be cursing your lack of patience as you watch your health bar melt away against an Annihilation Marauder in war zones.
  7. To the OP, if you are admitting you don't have the skill level of some other players, why would you put yourself at a further disadvantage by choosing a non-optimized spec? If you know you are lacking in an area, you need to make up for that by stream-lining your equipment and spec to even the odds. If Carnage and Annihilation are too complex, try Rage. Charge choke smash is 90% of what you do in that spec. If, on the other hand, you just don't care how you do in war zones, then why do you even pvp?
  8. What I personally do is calculate my damage and mitigation for each piece separately. As someone above mentioned, for the pieces where the Rakata is only 18 more str than the battlemaster, the expertise will most likely win. However, if the Rakata is 28 more str, the extra damage will be more than the mitigation lost, so it's worth swapping. That's just an example, but everyone really should do their own calculations to find the sweet spot.
  9. http://sithwarrior.com/forums/Thread-Madness-Balance-Sorcerer-DPS-Compendium--573?page=22&highlight=pillar It's about halfway down the page.
  10. This is how probability works people: the average number of bags it will take to get 20 tokens is 80, ACROSS ALL PLAYERS. That means that some players might get to 20 quicker, maybe in 60 bags, while some might take longer, say 100. Extreme cases are possible, like getting 20 tokens in 20 bags, or taking 400 bags to get 20, but are so unlikely that you can safely say it will never happen. If you are having crappy rates, like 1 in 30 bags or so, it's very possible that you might hit a lucky streak and get several in a row, still finishing your 20 tokens somewhere close to 80.
  11. LOL, that is such incredible BS. No one gets 40 straight bags with a token, the odds of that happening are about 1 in 10^24, which is about 100 trillion times higher than the number of people on the planet. You're a bad troll.
  12. Sorry, but you are wrong. The math for these was worked out on the sithwarrior.com forums, and these proc relics are bis. The best choice for your second slot is believed to be a rakata relic with an augment.
  13. The 25% chance is not "reset," it's a 25% chance for each bag. What, you expect that if you open three bags in a row and don't get one, then the 4th bag should automatically give you a token? You have had bad luck to start, as did I. I was 2 for 30 at one point, but then I hit a lucky streak and only need about 5 more after opening about 60 bags. And why pvp as a battlemaster? Oh, I dunno, maybe because you enjoy it?
  14. When Annihilation does more damage over time than Carnage and has better survivability with the damage invulnerability from Force Camo and all the heals, then yes, it is a better spec. If I'm doing 360k damage on Carnage in a Voidstar, but 400k damage and 100k healing on Annihilation, which one is better? Carnage needs a buff so it does more damage than Annihilation for it to be viable.
  15. I'm not going back to Carnage until they fix the bug with Ataru strike range not being calculated from the outside of a larger enemy's hitbox. It makes Carnage unplayable in operations, unless you're going to stand inside of a mob, which makes it harder to get out of AoE range.
  16. As another person said, stay parallel to the catwalks.
  17. You want to mix and match. Currently, I'm sitting at about 8% expertise. Also, you should change the enhancements in your gear.
  18. Are you aware how averages work? It takes 20 tokens to max out on bm gear, which will on average be 80 bags opened. No one is getting 20 tokens in 22 bags, and no one is having to open 200 bags either. The odds of that happening are astronomically higher than the actual number of people that play this game. There it's a standard deviation, so some people will have to open a few more bags and some a few less, but it's not a huge margin. Besides, full bm isn't even the optimal pvp setup, it takes more time to get the Rakata pieces.
  19. I had sex with Jaesa, and then decided to go with Vette, but they do make you chose at some point. Jaesa is crazy, though, like carve your name into her arm with a box cutter type crazy. Like, the exact type of girl you STAY AWAY from in real life, lol.
  20. If you fail to see how increasing your entire party's damage and healing by 15% for 15 seconds is really good, then I can't help you.
  21. The damage immunity on phantom is a must, imo. It lets you walk through fire pits or acid pits in huttball, or escape from big damage aoe's (rage smash) that you see coming, or negate damage from DoTs on you. It's even better in PvE, but still very good in PvP. Other than that, I have the same build as you, just moving Seeping Wound to Phantom. I like Seeping Wound and can see it's obvious benefits, but I just don't see anything else I want to take 2 points out of. Narrowed Hatred is good because it allows you to change enhancements in your gear, and Enraged Charge is important so your opener can go Charge > DS > BA > Rupture > Annihilate, without having to throw an assault in there.
  22. Yeah, Carnage needs a buff for sure. It's less damage than Annihilation and doesn't get self heals.
  23. I went through all my gear piece by piece to decide which gave the best damage upgrades. Granted, I don't have full battlemaster yet, but I found that the Rakata and columi were better than champion. I'm sitting at about 8% expertise now, and this setup calculates at about 12% more damage, 5% more HP, and 5.5% less DR than the full pvp setup. I realize that the HP doesn't counterbalance the DR loss, however the greatly increased damage more than makes up for it in my mind. Since I've been running this setup, my performance in warzones has gone up quite noticeably, so I believe that about 3 pieces of Rakata and 2 pieces of Battlemaster is probably the way to go.
  24. There was some math that showed that Annihilate + Assault is more damage than 2 Vicious Slashes, and costs less rage. So yes, it is very worth it.
