  2. Sorry for the off topic post, but google has failed me. I'm desperately trying to find an educational pc game where you join a rebellious group of highschool teens attempting to take down an evil corporation called "Omni-science" The gameplay consists of programming robots to do tasks like mow lawns and sell pizza, essentially using a lot of if/then statements. I'd say the game was out around 1998 give or take a few years. If anyone remembers the name I'd be most appreciative
  3. Has anyone gotten a champion gear token since the patch? I know you get champ commendations from a champ bad, however I didn't read anything about the gear tokens getting removed altogether, just that the drop rate was reduced. If anyone has, were you able to choose the piece of gear you wanted? Or is it the same random system where you can get duplicates? Thanks to anyone who knows.

  5. Has anyone been able to test if Gore, providing 100% armor pen, affects force attacks? Logic would say no, but glancing at Kiba's marauder guide, it does include Force Scream in the short rotation you use while gore is up. If the case is that it does in fact increase the damage, I would assume Smash would be included in that - correct me if I'm wrong of course. Any insight is appreciated
  6. I don't think you quite understood what I was trying to say, which was, in fact, the same thing you were. I simply was stating that with the amount of money EA has poured into this game, they were likely trying to appeal to as many players as possible, and in doing so would be wise to use a familiar UI and feel.

In my experience, Juggernaut plays more like a typical warrior, while Marauder plays more like a rogue (in both cases I'm comparing to WoW, AoC, etc) The only things that differs a marauder from the image of a rogue would be the lack of stealth, however many things are very similar in that you use medium armor, dual wield, have a TONNE of defensive cooldowns and are very capable in pvp 1v1 or 1v2. Heck, we even have a short vanish. Juggernaut on the other hand fits the warrior title well. Tanking feels right, aside from the slightly higher difficulty on aoe pulls. In pvp they are quite solid as well, proving to be one of the best ball carriers with damage reduction cooldowns and charge. Having leveled both myself to 40+, one thing I would suggest is going darkside on one, and lightside on the other; it at least provides dialogue changes in many cases.
  8. For a game to attempt to reinvent the wheel after WoW and many other recent mmo's is well... take a look at FFXIV's launch. Diehards will be diehards, but that game was too unfamiliar (and to be fair bug ridden) to appeal to the masses, which, with the budget swtor had, is likely what they're trying to do.
  9. Before I have to go back to work I can answer one question you had in regards to Vette. Any of the companions are easily usable providing you pay attention while fighting mobs. Ex. Use a proper dps rotation to bring them down efficiently, keep cloak of pain up, etc. That being said, you will most likely experience more downtime using Vette over Quinn. His heals, as pathetic as they often are, will probably be the difference between 60% and 30% hp after taking on multiple strong enemies. But if you don't mind a few seconds of Channel Hatred between fights, Vette works just fine.
  10. As the title suggests, my question is about the order in which companions use abilities. Ex. Can I make Vette use Blaster Sweep before Quick Shot? I'm basically wanting to customize my companions dps or heal rotation based on the types of mobs I fight. Any insight is appreciated.

  13. Just had a quick question for those who have experimented with the annihilation tree, about the pulverize talent. If you use rupture upon the talent being triggered, and you still have the bleed effect from your last rupture on the target, does the second rupture bleed stack, add a new bleed, or negate the remaining ticks from the first rupture? Hopefully that sentence made sense Any help is appreciated.
