  1. They gave us a stronghold no one wanted...done. Also, anecdote does not equal evidence. The vast majority of reactions appear to be superficial fixes while ignoring the game killing features. Kind of like rope bridges and trash heaps.
  2. lol...good thing they play this game. Such insight into how things work.
  3. Doesn't really matter for me anymore, since I unsubscribed a few hours ago. 21 days and I am out.
  4. This statement suggest to me you don't actually play conquest if you think this new system made it easier for small guilds to win conquest.
  5. So the old system failed to do this? How did the old system not require large numbers of people to win? You think guilds like BBB won six and seven planets a week was because five people were churning out the points? As I recall, the system changed because small guilds wanted a chance at rewards. They could have achieved the same goals by just adding the conquest goals. If you're answer is no, then what is the point of the changes to conquest?
  6. It is summer break, the UT Austin interns they have running the game may not be back yet.
  7. That theory went out the window. The Imp side Shan server just crashed a little while ago.
  8. Also, if people want to grind the same thing over and over again, why can't they?
  9. And are those rewards equal given the time it takes to do them? Why should I be forced to play content I don't enjoy to take part in a weekly event? They constantly tell us they want us to play how we want, except it seems they want us to play PvP and queue realted content, and nothing else. Tell me how it makes sense to only count ONE heroic a day per legacy? They violate this concept in conquest already with Iokath. It's simple really. It comes down to time versus points allocated. Can that vary conquest to conquest? Sure. But there should be some base amount of points accumulated per hour that is consistent across ALL content. Will some people do content quicker than others, sure. Some people will be better at PvP or operations, have better equipment, have companions maxed out on level, etc. But there should be some base point for all content. Does 5000 points an hour sound unreasonable? Three hours to conquest. If you want to spend nine hours a day to get three toons to conquest, more power to you. Again, I ask the naysayers, how many toons do you believe it is reasonable for a player to get to conquest a week? Give us numbers.
  10. Part of the problem with this whole discussion is there is a lot of speculation about what Bioware intended. The primary reason for this is they NEVER, EVER do a good job of explaining what they intended, the reasons for the changes, etc. How many times have they changed up on us after a patch? Part of this is because, I think, they are winging it. They are simply in maintenance mode and refuse to just come out and say so. Instead we get this Kabuki dance around every update. If the goal was to make it easier for smaller guilds to get the rewards, why the limit on how many toons you can get points on? That flies directly into the face of the logic behind the changes. I also believe they don't play this game. Getting on a toon occasionally is a far cry from playing various aspects of this game. We have a variety of players who play different aspects of this game intently. The conquest changes were done, IMO, be people who don't have the first clue about how conquest works. And since the usual response from bioware is to dig in its heels rather than admit they screwed up...here we are. The comments have been overwhelmingly negative. There have been ample feedback suggesting reasonable changes, all of which has been ignored. The only changes that do come are cosmetic at best. NO ONE is asking that they just give stuff away. Also, let's stop with the idea that running a large amount of toons through conquest is an easy grind, because it isn't. To get a large number of toons through conquest requires a very large time commitment. But if they want to put in the time, let them. I have a simple question for those supporting the change (all two of you), what is the right number of toons it is reasonable to get through conquest in a week? One? Three? Six? 47? How many?
  11. Exactly. Though, it takes about an hour a toon to hit conquest now. I will have six toons to conquest as of today. It can still be done because there is still one area they haven't nerfed yet.
