  1. I agree with many opinions I have heard on the transfers and merger related issues. The only thing I would suggest to Bioware and the developers of SW:ToR is please, MERGE the SERVERS! before you allow the free/paid transfers. If you simply just open up a free transfer, the first thing people are going to do is migrate to the most highly populated server. The server Fatman is a perfect example. A large portion of a MMO's sucess is having a large player base on there servers, not stating you have to have 9 billion players subscribed, but we need to feel as if we are surrounded by a larger community. It honestly gives us that "warm and fuzzy" were searching for in a MMO. I.E. if we have 100 diffrent options for servers to select in a time zone or area 9 times out of 10 were going straight for the one that says "Full" or "High" on the pouplation listing. Not only will the community create itself but the economy will also develop unassisted. So now we understand the issue with the transfers, how can we correct it. Honestly in my humble opinion, "Quick like a band-aid" just grab them and start merging them, galactic trade networks and all, just take the East Coast PvP servers and merge them all till you only have a select few same with PvE/RP/RP-PvP, the works. (same with West Coast and EU servers) this way all guilds go along with the server, friends wont be separated, and we will get to mingle with new people. (also change the name of said servers, not using old name, people like to claim ownership of the servers) If you ask opinions and open up transfers/give options it will be a mess, no matter what you guys do we will complain without fail. Truth be told, The MMO community in a whole is a bunch of "I want it nao" types if giving the option we will choose the flavor of the month and QQ about it the next, we have a lot of options in regards to MMO's to choose from as before when in WoW's start up there were only a select few, now every company is trying to break into the market. If we break down all the servers an just merge them together, make every server seem "highly" populated people will see this be happy, increase server caps if you have too. people will enjoy the game more, and as we progress with you guys can create more servers if needed. but with all the options we have the game looks dead, it scares the community of gamers and we shy away from SW:ToR in general, and go back to said titled MMO saying "Games Dead". We still have a chance to bounce back and get the ball moving again. Just my two cents. thanks again for your time as this post was to the developers, Bioware, and the People that track forum posts actually Rooting for this game to succeed.
  2. Anyone else have a dead server? Honestly having a dead server makes game play a whole different story, GTN's are useless, LFG spam is endless, Heroics, HM, OP's are nearly impossible. On the planets spread through out the galaxy on average there are any where from 5-10 people on at a time. Sometimes you might be the only one on the whole planet for awhile. Now that the rant is over, I understand I could re-roll a different server but the small amount of friends that I have met, or the guildies I know keep me there in hopes that things might turn around. In the chances it wont, Has there been any news on server mergers or free transfers?
  3. I am not sure if Republic Fleet was intended to be the main social hub or not, but honestly to me it feels dark, old, dead. I know its supposed to give off a "Star warsy" vibe, but it makes me tired. I think that maybe we could liven it up a little bit by maybe brightening it up a few notches, adding the Catina music to be heard in more areas, maybe some more flora and fauna running around. Besides just basic appeal give more players a reason to be there, could just be my server but usually there is only 10-15 people there at a time, makes the old LFG spam harder then usual. Please believe me I am not being condescending, but tiring to add constructive comments and concerns, with possible ways to fix them.
  4. I agree, I thought something was broken when I could preview my armor but not my weapons.
  5. Agreed, A LFG tool is a great function, There is nothing more annoying then sitting in general chat spamming the same thing over and over again to only end up saying "well guys I guess its just not in the cards tonight"..... Also do I dare say raid LFG tool?
