They are not trying to let people play on whatever server they want, you can already do that. Go to the server selection screen, pick a server and roll a new toon. They are trying to fix server population inbalance, and letting people decide where they go would not only not fix that, it would further damage it. I know you're a special snowflake and the center of the universe, but sometimes you have to take one for the team champ. When the transfer process is complete in a week or so, if you either take the transfer or are lucky enough to be on a destination server, then you won't be on a dead realm anymore, and thats all BW owes you. If, after that, you want to transfer to a specific realm, well, thats well and good, you can pay for that privilege.

I really enjoyed the original X-Wing game and X-Wing Alliance even more. Bring back the Space Combat Sim! Really looking forward to this game, they already have some great designs for starfighters and a pretty solid idea for the game overall. Hope they reach the Kickstarter goal, so we can all enjoy the old school feeling of X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter again, in the modern internet era!

I think it will be something with the current plague on Tatooine spreading to another planet. One hint for this could be the fact that we only get the containment officer boots withthe current quests, and my guess is there is going to be a whole set. Every new infection will grant another set piece and so on...

The vast majority of us didnt. We just liked the game. So we played it. We got to fifty. We ran Hardmodes for gear. We figured out work around for bugs. We ran operations. Yes, that makes us loyal.

 

You didnt have time for that. I get it. Your a very busy man. I understand completely. I work 4 12s in a week, I found time.

Anyways, on topic:

 

Mara Jade just isn't coming back, nor should she. What role could she possibly fulfill in the current state of events of the story? Should Luke and Mara and Ben just be a happy OP jedi family? I don't think so.

I for one was shocked that she would be the one killed by Jacen, but I could imagine it being logical for him as a sacrifice. Not wanting to sacrifice Tenel Ka or Allana, who else but her and simultaniously dealing a giant blow to the Jedi Order?

Any of the books deal mostly with a Jedi Consular ?

The whole Jedi Consular/ Shadow/Sentinel/Guardian concept is something contrived for SWTOR (perhaps as far back as KOTOR), so you won't see any of the novels deal with jedi defined in such clear roles. I guess the novels that tie in with the game however do have characters that clearly have such a role, so I would suggest reading those (Fatal Alliance perhaps?).

Haven't read all the books yet, although I am collecting them all (last count was 130). Ever since SWTOR came out I'm completely back into Star Wars again, and next week I'm starting the massive task of (re-)reading through my collection. Hope to finish it in 3 years or so, and I want to read some other stuff in between (Terry Pratchett novels and ASOIAF for the 3rd time ).
