  1. Yes, let's discourage group activities in a massively multiplayer online game once again. Hello, I'm herpderp, and I play a multiplayer online game to play solo, and complain about other people grouping up and utilizing social teamwork. Vote herpderp, 2012 lead developer of BioWare and all future MMOs.
  2. And you aren't bad, you are actually beyond terrible for defending resolve. Traditional DRs need to replace this excuse of a system.
  3. There are a few level 50 snipers on my realm who I face in PvP; they are always top 3 damage, more often rank 1 with 200-300k damage dealt. If it's a damage issue, I'm not convinced. I get hit by snipers for 40% of my health before I can react (since I cannot charge to them lolcover) - btw I'm a level 50 shield spec troop (yes, that's a tank as well. 40% of that hp was with 50% mitigation). I am not exaggerating here, maybe it's a spec issue you are experiencing? (I know little about snipers other than the cover mechanic is annoying).
  4. 4 BH and 4 SI? Noobs, carried by a class that actually is forgiving to clickers. Terrible.
  5. The problem is that every additional sage/inquisitor is actually beneficial as a whole; whereas multiple jedi guardians, etc, is not. Now, other classes can bolster similar results, but the stacking of sage/inquisitor has an extremely higher beneficial margin. Though, I can imagine a group of 8 moderate scoundrels/operatives being overwhelmingly powerful and sweeping in a new definition for the phrase "nerf stealthies."

    New WZ medal ideas

    Personal Huttball Medals: Rollerball - Deliver a killing blow while carrying the huttball. Incinerate - Stun/Snare/CC/Pull/Knockback an enemy over a huttball burner (they must die on the burner or shortly after). Acid Bath - Stun/Snare/CC/Pull/Knockback an enemy into an acid pool (they must die in the pool or shortly after). Interception - Intercept the huttball. Ball-Magnet - Intercept the huttball 3 times in a single match. Gamechanger - Score the final point in a 5-5 huttball match. Star Receiver - Receive 3 completed huttball passes from 3 unique players in a single match. Quarterback - Complete 3 successful passes to 3 unique allied players in a single huttball match. Star Player - Complete a total of 3 of any of the following in a single match: heal the ball carrier for a total of 10k, guard the ball carrier for a total of 5k, deliver a killing blow to the enemy ball carrier, intercept the huttball, receive a huttball pass, score a point with the huttball, pass the huttball to an ally. Blitzkrieg - Personally carry the huttball from centerfield to the enemy goal line within x minutes/seconds without any passes or interceptions. I actually think this is a bad idea, for scrub noobs would want to try and get this medal and possibly cost their team a point or control of the ball (they die, because they suck). Wide Open - Receive a completed huttball pass within the enemy goal line to score a point. Group-wide Medals Apocalypse - Win a game without a single raid member dying. Rush to Victory - Win a game within X minutes. Do, or Do Not, There is no "Try" - Win a game with a narrow leading score. (Alderaan: win by 10; Voidstar: win by 1 gate [2 points, I think]; Huttball: win a 6-5 game)
  7. Bahahahaha. Best response ever. Armory - I don't think it's necessary TBH. It just fuels cookie cutter for no intended purpose whatsoever. The only benefit of armory in WoW is for PvP ladder/gearing.. which you should be able to figure out yourself in the first place from your server/guild/etc.

I log in once a day (sometimes I don't even bother) to do the Ilum daily (which is omega-boring-lame-status); don't even do the warzone wins... full epics already so the bags are just w/e for offset pieces. Already raided with my guild for the week... bonethrasher and parts of EV. The game just feels so bland right now. PvP has FPS issues and gets very boring very quickly. Meh. I wouldn't mind as much if there was more to do, but I feel like I spent $80 game+sub to just level (with bad quests) and have not been rewarded for reaching level cap.
  9. ANOTHER POST ABOUT THIS?!?!?!?! Yes, it's one of the worst itemizing systems every created in an MMO, ever. It's unbelievably god-awful bad bad bad bad bad bad bad. BAD. TERRIBLE. I don't think capslock words describe how utterly atrocious it is.

  11. 2/10. That +1 from 1/10 comes from how awesome huttball is (yea, I really, really, really like huttball). However, the -8 comes from the abysmal framerate issues in warzones. Well... they said "optimizations" in their updates-to-come list, so hopefully it means the framerate bullcrap.
  12. It's pointless? A broken PvP experience receiving criticism is pointless? BAHHAAHAHAH- I'm sorry... I'm sorry... you lost me. I won't make a post about going back to WoW, because I'm not, but this game really was released broken in my books - for the sake of Christmas sales. If PvP didn't function properly, they should have delayed release until it was resolved or not included it at all. Same goes for any mirror scenario with PvE instances... I don't get where all this MMO leniency comes from. It's like everyone is okay with purchasing a game that isn't 100%. "Oh, they'll fix it eventually..." HAHAHAH--- BTW. Running a GTX570 and framerate remains the same on low/high settings (which is ~15-20) in warzones. My PC can handle Crysis 1/2 on max with AA/multisamp settings but not this? What?

  15. The whole bag system is completely retarded... Anyone defending it has absolutely no rational argument to make for it. Traditional grind needs to come in, RNG needs to go out. And no, "RNG" is not some "hey look at us we're unique" kind of meneuver, it's just completely senseless. What a joke. Whoever thought of this needs to be fired or demoted to where they have little influence.
  16. 10400 warzone commendations = single 39 token piece. (13 bags x 3 commendations each). Have fun grinding a single piece while your friends gets 5 pieces in a row free of cost/effort. Your argument is futile. The system is complete crap; get out of here and stop making Bioware feel like this type of RNG is okay. Once again, another post about how absolutely atrocious and horrible the PvP RNG itemizing is.
  17. Hey another post about the horrible RNG system. FFS, BioWare, pull your head out of your arse and put in traditional grind. Grind, whether people like it or not, rewards for effort (towards wins) and time spent (the grind).
  18. People are asking for their time and effort to actually reap rewards that they desire. The PvP bag system is an utter abomination and needs to be removed immediatly. There is no defending such a horrible way of gearing up for PvP. There is no reason for centurion gear to even exist. It's a filler for a terrible, terrible, horrid, absolutely atrocious RNG gearing experience.
  19. Classes that have pull abilities (e.g Grapple) are able to pull enemy players, in Huttball, into their spawn ledge, resulting in an instant death - including the Ball carrier. I believe this to be an exploit. Others do not. I am eager to hear additional defense of this topic or others who also believe it to be what it actually is: exploiting spawn protection. -- For the record: Charging up to the spawn point =/= being forced into the spawn point. & Gripping into a fire burner =/= instant death comparison. (This is totally irrelevant, but there is a chance a nutshell might compare it to this...)
  20. There is no QQ, my friend. The entire RNG system of itemizing your character for PvP is one of the worst implementations of any MMO that I have ever played. There is no reward for time, effort, or skill (medals for more tokens) -- a crappy, non-objective-seeking scrub-a-dub can get half of his set with 7 lucky bags, while the experience, game-winning player who puts in countless hours of grind gets the same 7 bags except only to have 21 commendations (which is not even a single tier piece; by this I mean set-bonus piece, it can buy an off-piece) which are for a lesser piece in the end (centurion). I cannot fathom at just how terrible the RNG bags are; it is simply impossible to convey how utterly atrocious it is. I'm sorry. I hope to see more posts about this, for it's truly an abysmal experience.

  25. Lol, this problably. Most Sorc's are actually terrible and just get carried by the fact they have so much 1-button utility and teammates to back them up when they are getting trained. Terrible players play most FOTM classes; brightwizardlol.
