  1. Is there a central point to pick up all the Makeb daily missions for either faction? thanks
  2. Baby Yoda is weeping because we cannot sort our legacy storage.
  3. I was crafting war supplies to make an invasion force but noticed that while it showed that I had made the supplies (the little bar under the conquest activity filled in), I did not get any conquest points (which should have been 4000). Then I made the invasion force and got my 2000 conquest points for that. I've noticed this happen before, does anyone know why I don't get the conquest points for making the war supplies? thanks
  4. I will at least do the Jedi Knight, I have never played one before. As to the second, perhaps an inquisitor.
  5. SWG took a dramatic space opera story and reduced it to SimAuntBeru, the game where we played vaporator technicians. The game had some interesting ideas but overall was dull. They took the only interesting thing in the setting, the Jedi, and walled it off behind stupid acquisition mechanics. The game failed, let it go. I have a lot of fun playing SWTOR, go **** up some other game.
  6. I'll be nice when they give me back all the recipes I took the time to learn and improve. They did nothing to fix the bug that stripped me of what I had done, so I don't really see any reason to show any respect. I gave them their chance to fix the problem and waited patiently, but I got ****ed.
  7. Gee, how nice, you will actually fix the problem this time. When the big FE crafting rework rolled out my armstech lost every single *********** blaster barrel recipe on the list. I submitted a bug report and got a canned response that said the problem would be addressed in an upcoming update but this never actually happened.
  8. I took a break from SWTOR last year and came back recently to find that I still cannot get Elara Dornes helmet to show up on her character model. Nice work.
  9. I just came back to the game, did not know they dumbed down the game or I wouldn't have spent my money. The changes are idiotic and pander to the stupid player demographic.
  10. Are there any holo dancers or holo statues available?
  11. We can make things that can be traded for decor items, check your crafting skill trainer.
  12. I don't like the 4v4 death match warzones and would like to be able to exclude them from my random wz selection, it seems like all I have been getting is the 4v4's lately and I am tired of it.
  13. The wall mounted GTN console looks really odd, it can only be put on med wall spaces and at the lowest position is still over the head of the user, can we get one of these mounted on a post so we can put them on small floor spots?
  14. The problem with chairs you can sit in is that each chair has to be interactable and have scripts attached to it to handle the action and this ends up being a server load issue. I think the current sitting methods are adequate and certainly better than what we had when last I played.
  15. This is the flip side of going with Ikea furniture hook system instead of a free placement system like in Wildstar, RIFT, and EQ2. This way you cannot make creative and interesting housing items out of other things, you have to buy them.
  16. I got a request to make implants for a friend, a level 21 agent. I checked my list and oddly enough I only have three implants for that level of character: Tactile Combat D-package (+STR) Tactile Reaction D-implant (+STR) Tactile Resistance D-implant (+WILL) My skill trainer does not have any level 21 implant schematics to sell. I also only have these as Blue items, no Green versions. It has been so long that I have forgotten where I got them, did I get these schematics by reverse engineering drops?
  17. I just got a new computer and so far every time I log in I have to deal with the temporary password, does anyone know how many times i will have to log in until the system realizes that I have a new computer and don't need the temporary password.
  18. Wildstar has the most advanced system, it autoplaces items on any surface, to walls and ceilings as well as floors, with no needed adjustment for fine placement. No more fiddling to get a picture flush on the wall anymore. It is easier than ever to use a free placement system. It is no harder to place an item than using a hook system. SWTOR has really taken a big step backwards. LotRO uses a hook system, but what most people don't know is that it was a stop gap system that was never intended to be in long term use. The devs there said that they could do a fast and dirty housing hook system immediately with improvements to come or wait and do it properly from the ground up at some indefinite future date (in both cases with free placement). The community voted for fast and dirty and due to failing revenue and going f2p the follow through never came. This all went down quite early in the games history.
  19. I like how you wiggle and twist in order to avoid the real issues of lost creativity, very inspiring behaviour, although I probably should not tell you the exact emotion it inspires.
  20. Ah, the bleating of the wild fanboi. Here is a hint for your education in commerce: offering an inferior product or feature does not lead to the path of customer retention and profit. Go and contemplate this, grasshopper.
  21. Have you ever used a hook or free placement decorating system or are you just speaking from a total lack of experience on the topic?
  22. I think that uninformed people posting uninformed opinions is just as astonishing. In RIFT, using free placement, I built a mages study. I took a book shelf and shrank it down and hung it on the wall, populating it with a skull, some potion bottles, and some books. Below that I put a desk with some open books on one end, and a neat upright group of books help up by bookends on the other end. There was a candle, an open scroll, and an ink well with a quill in the middle. Above it I spun a beam and fixed the ends in the walls, positioned parallel to the ground with lamps on chains hung from it. In Wildstar, RIFT, and EQ2 you can subdivide the room and make smaller rooms as well, there are very few limits to the creativity. You could combine objects to make something totally new if you wished. In SWTOR we get Ikea decorating. You can choose from bed #2, rug #5, lamp #1, and dresser #8. That is the limit of your creativity and choice. We have the dumded down non-creative system because either the devs were too lazy to do it right or they were not given the resources to do it right. Either way, it was not done right.
  23. In EQ2 your pets wandered freely around the house. How old is that game?
  24. This why hook placement fails (like it did in LotRO). You can put a desk down, and it will be the same desk that everyone else had, exactly the same. In EQ2, RIFT, or WS, you can put a desk down, then put papers, books, coffee mugs, a lamp, or other clutter and make it YOUR desk. You can take an item and resize it to use it in different ways. The hook system kills creativity in favour of presenting a dumbed down system because it was easy and the devs were too lazy to do it right.
