  1. You're not alone. They just don't take negative feedback. 7.0 is absolute pure garbage. The inventory and vaults look like they are pre-alpha place-holder systems. It's a complete down-grade. The character creator doesn't even let you zoom out past the upper torso anymore, and instead of having a graphical background, it's just all-black. What a load of garbage.
  2. I can't seem to find a way to revert the inventory and vaults to their pre-7.0 views, which are far less-favorable. Is there a benefit to the new format that I'm just not seeing?
  3. Tried to roll a new toon, only to discover that you cannot zoom out, beyond seeing only the upper torso of the body types, with the 7.0 update. Was this on-purpose?
  4. Yours truly was originally looking forward to 7.0, with the focus towards group-content and the expansion of the fighting styles. After reading about the dumbing-down of the gearing system though, I was just so discouraged. I can't *believe* they found a way to dumb things down, even further. WHEN will we stop catering to the most casual and un-invested of players? The subtraction of complexity just takes me out of it. Gearing is my favorite aspect of SWTOR. I was the type of player who was saddened when we stopped having the ability to gear-up our companions, a few years back. Don't get me wrong: Companion tanking is better than it was before - but it still felt like a loss. The de-evolution of the token system by which we were modding gear to level? Still fine - maybe it even added feasability to crafting levelling upgrades, with the removal of the blues and the change to buying only greens. But the static stats that we'll now be getting? Oof.... It's just too much. We're not allowed to criticize the game on the forums, so I know this thread will quickly be removed - but OMG! When, when, WHEN will we get an MMO that values time-investment and lengthly player-projects over simplicity and casual play?
  5. Sadly, I think they changed it; It used to be that if you bothered to go through the main story on Makeb, then you talked a LOT with Jace Malcolm for the lead-in / original run of the Makeb bonus missions. Want to say I tried it earlier this year, and they were fully terminal-obtained. But aye - once characters are dead, they should really stay dead.
  6. Just filed my 5th in-game CSR ticket, FOR THE EXACT SAME ISSUE! I even take extra steps to try to ensure that I don't accidentally RE (reverse engineer, for any devs/csr's who don't play the game) my permanent gear - but it's happened AGAIN! I've filed 5 tickets now, and CSR's just LAUGH IT OFF! "Oh, these things happen - but sorry, our policy says...." Would it help if I mentioned that WoW has something to prevent this? Can you do it if WoW does it? Does that make it permissible? At the very least, can't CSR's be given permission to take 2 minutes to refund an item THAT WAS NEVER INTENDED TO BE RE'd? Don't just sit there and do NOTHING! PLEASE FIX THIS!!! FIX IT! FIX IT! FIX IT!
  7. They've taken it off of the easy-buy options from the Cartel Market. As such, I'm presently offering your choice of either 70mil credits or 35mil and an S-311 Fusion Sabateur Rifle. If you're interested, it's best to message me in-game. Mails or direct /whisper is just fine. In-game name is Ahlvis.
  8. Gotta be in the next 2 days, though; my account goes F2P, after that, and I won't be sub'd for awhile. Contact Ahlvis in-game by mail or /whisper, on the Republic Side.
  9. No one's updated the In-Game Events page since September; Not sure what's to happen, in October, as of yet. In case you happen not to have decided just yet, would love to have the Gree around, again!
  10. Most-relevant forum I can find, for this. Yours truly noticed today that not 1, but 2 of my legacy Tank gear pieces are sub-par - which is odd, since they were end-game and primo, to the last of my knowledge. The best I can figure is that while sorting loot over time, I've accidentally clicked to equip the subpar pieces, then flushed my end-game pieces down the toilet. It may have been my imagination, but is there a way to mark gear as un-Reverse Engineer-able, without having to first un-mark it?
  11. Just under 3 minutes in length. Something creative our community came up with awhile ago, using the graphics of the different Force-based classes. This, however, was the very first time doing this on the Sith side, for us: There are 2 takes. The second take is both the best captured and the best executed. Unfortunately, the recording program didn't capture any of the audio, but I'm looking into better options. Few programs seem to want to work with eachother, these days! Enjoy, and let me know what you think! This was filmed by <THE SlTH ORDER> of the Satele Shan server, part of the 6-guild community of <THE JEDl ORDER>.
  12. 3 minute video, includes two takes. The second take is the best! Filmed 30SEP2020 in the Sith Academy. No audio managed to capture, so I'll find a better recording program: We've occasionally done these in the history of <THE JEDl ORDER> - but this was the very first time we've done one of these on the Sith side! Just one of many colorful types of events you can find our community involved in.

Orion Sol's JEDl from SWG is still around - and invites YOU to check us out! While <THE JEDl ORDER> has always been around in some incarnation since inception back in 2004 in Star Wars: Galaxies (it's the reason behind the lower-case 'L' in our names), yours truly is happy to report that our community has once again reached a great level of activity! While we've admittedly never been the strongest PvP guild, you are invited to join us for copius amounts of weekly guild events (6 guilds, in-total, all the same community), RP, both spontaneous and scheduled PvE, and an un-ending slew of special, unique guild events that have been a part of our history since 2004! As content for this thread, I'll post 1 or 2 of my favorite screenshots from every week, as well as a notification when the next chapter in our near-weekly Adventures Log is ready for reading. For the first post herein, a couple of shots from this past week's thread, but exclusive here as my personal favorites: https://photos.app.goo.gl/UpFVse4AnqwhUVpx8 This is a shot of the 3rd phase of the weekly Sith Order Induction Ceremony - and it was the first with yours truly, at the helm! Our thanks to community-favorite Altheandra, who recently finished rennovations on both the guild ship, as well as the stronghold. and another: https://photos.app.goo.gl/YbkRJqyAtHBKWbRk9 Master Siow - a long-time community member, is known for his many high-quality videos using in-game footage. Here, he has borrowed a group of us for footage to take place in an Alderaan stronghold. Even the recap thread only includes shots from the events that yours truly is able to personally attend; There are plenty that I can't make it to! If you'd like to take part in our adventures, then find and inquire with members of <THE JEDl ORDER> and <THE SlTH ORDER>, today!
  14. The "Field Deployments" we have done for the Trooper guild in our community don't attract a lot of attention. Was looking for some activity or another that would fit well and have appeal for REPUBLIC SPECFORCE, our sister-guild. The last field deployment went to Voss. We marched single-file through the city after a short briefing, took a shuttle to the lowlands, fought Sith and Imperial troops in a large swath of ruins to gain intel, then went to the Gormak territory in the far northeast of Voss. There's a primitive electrical dam there, and we fought our way inside of it. After rigging one of their contraband bombs to blow, we were extracted. The RP was that Gormak improvised tech kept showing up in Imperial hands; We were there to track it down, and if possible, end the supply. Events like these seem like they should have bigger appeal - but for some reason don't. Maybe there's something more Trooper-riffic I'm not thinking of? Input is appreciated.

WEEK SEVEN Well, you never know how much you do as a guild officer in a single week, until it's looking back at you, in screenshots. I hadn't considered myself that busy, last week - but there was a lot that I didn't recall, by the end of the week! Here's some of the highlights from the events that yours truly was able to make it to, within the 6 guilds of THE JEDl ODER: On Monday the 10th, the community brought out their Imperial toons for a world boss hunt. These we do host regularly, as they are part of rank-up requirements. https://photos.app.goo.gl/XZoUr3aAnxuhYPxr9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/Z9RZeVX7K8ie8nmZ8 Kragesh, who would later also become my Apprentice, duels me as part of his rank-up requirements. The end of the REPUBLIC SPECFORCE ceremony, on the 11th: https://photos.app.goo.gl/NJdpz1Ai3xww2fRS8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/zbbG1Q3JJpCJtuj8A Tzorath, whom I accepted as an Apprentice. All of my Apprentices of late have been quite active and busy. A shot from the MANDALORIAN CLANS weekly RP event, The New Mandalorian Legends. This is after we've brought our trophies back: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7mUM2srP61xk6ZeT8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/FVsrTeLkvkxANyPd9 Myself and an Apprentice unlock a mystery of the past, as part of the tasks given to the Apprentice, by the Master. A scene from the Padawan Crystal Hunt, on the 13th. Emerald hosts these in a couple of phases. The first phase, pictured here, is a chance for the newer members of the guild to share with others the RP story they've come up with, thus far. https://photos.app.goo.gl/GFHCX4nvnd1dJgxz8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/bU4ymGt8S91rR9Pa8 A shot from the MANDALORIAN CLANS weekly meeting. Master Siow - one of our ocmmunity's big in-game filmers - poses a couple of us, as he borrows a group of guildies to get some primo footage: https://photos.app.goo.gl/kvbKTJ7tUjXiJA8XA https://photos.app.goo.gl/gXWJS6Q9zhDAnSWX8 The very first SlTH ORDER weekly ceremony with yours truly at the helm. The weekly SlTH ceremony was timed and located to end, just as a SlTH roleplay event began, in the same location. This was a chance for Sith to aire their concerns to the Dark Council of our sect of the Sith. Some private affairs received response, and a few laughs were shared - overall, a great night in our newly-rennovated flagship! https://photos.app.goo.gl/yYMAstNjC64kwQGC7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/7eXaVRLaeRJBxDJT6 Finishing off the week's best-of screenshots is a community-only run at SM SnV. I do enjoy the side-blowing palm trees, in that Op. More to come, as the quarter goes by! Yours truly will do my best to keep our adventures recorded here, for your reading and viewing enjoyment!
  16. There's a couple of guys in our community that do, though I'm not sure of their tags. I'll DM then now in Discord, and follow-up here, once I grab what they use for that stuff.

This week was unexpectedly busy, for yours truly! Due to a resignation, you are now reading the words of the new GM of our sister-guild, <THE SlTH ORDER>. As such, expect a marked change from Jedi-dominant RP events to Sith-dominant RP events; An officer in our community is an officer in all 6 of our guilds, but some serve more-advanced officer functions within specific guilds. Not to digress to far, this change brought about some unique RP opportunities that were certainly acted upon! https://photos.app.goo.gl/gwWEgumfhdk5DfEX6 The first SlTH weekly ceremony yours truly presided over. It was a packed house, as many within the community wanted to see how the shift of command would play out, be explained RP-wise, etc. Yours truly also started quite early with recruitment efforts, so a few of the inductees are brand new to our community, this week. Ultimately, Amedeo's arrival on the scene was mostly subjective-RP tied into his mannerisms while commanding the event. A brief explaination of Amedeo's disdain for many on their sect's Dark Council was given, as he viewed them as having wasted years in trying to influence eachother - while he'd been off with campaigns and serving at the feet of the High Dark Council, on Dromund Kaas. In courting their favor, he'd been able to remove the previous Lord Voice (SlTH's GM's title) with a simple request. Promises of empowering victories were made, and the rest of the event flowed as we would normally orchestrate it - except the location of it's finish. While the new initiates were duelled and tested on Korriban, the challenge-duels were moved to our new Dark Council Chamber, to consecrate the newly-rennovated guild flagship. The initiates then took their oaths of fealty to our sect of the Sith, and that event finsihed. HOWEVER - yours truly has always believed the time immediately following a guild's weekly ceremony to be the single most-prime time to host a guild event. As such, the RP event that followed was well-attended! https://photos.app.goo.gl/brAZHAaY8kAxJ6Lx7 In order to maximize attendance, this event not only followed the weekly guild ceremony - it also took place in the very place we decided to end the 3rd phase of our weekly guild ceremony! This is where the real RP comes in, and is a point that your input is appreciated, for. The Dark Council was seated, and the new Lord Voice, Darth Amedeo, heard affairs of his new court. In these "Council RP's", affairs from members of the Order are brought before the ears of the Dark Council, for role-play purposes. Volunteers come up and RP with myself and the Council, either bringing forward their own scenario, or taking up a "role-in-need" by accepting the queues and suggestions provided by yours truly, for either a comedic or dramatic scenario that I bring forward. The scenario plays out, and I usually try to round each scenario out to take up about 10-15 minutes. The first scenario was a Sith seeking a leave of his normal duties for the Sith Order, for time to hunt down and kill his brother. Obviously, there's some bad blood there, so I did queue him for further details and motivations. We got more out of him, but there wasn't much to do with this one, so he was quickly given leave. The second secnario was a Sith Lord seeking to take one of our members as an Apprentice (part of our ranking and RP systems). In this one, I was able to queue the Council for objections or inquiries, as to why our volunteer might not be capable of training another to be Sith, and an entertaining and tense exchange played out between one of our Dark Council and the petitioning Lord. With the third scenario, our volunteer accepted a suggestion, and I figured comedy would be the way to go. As such, the Lord Voice had received notification that a traffic incident involving the volunteer in Kaas City saw the overturn and spill of a large amount of garbage - but not just ANY garbage; This was the garbage from the Dark Council and the class of Sith that live adjacent to the residences of the Dark Council! As such, death threats had been flying, as something so private (and potentially full of assorted pieces of evidence) is not made available to the public lightly. I wasn't certain where to take the bit, until we decided to try to figure out which well-known Sith might be sending the death threats, as to appease them - so we started to go over what types of death threats he'd been receiving. Here, the Dark Council was asked to chime in, and we began asking if the volunteer had received the most-comedically possible types of death threats. Overall, this night played out well, and was lined up in such a way as to reach the most guild-members possible. However, I'll be needing more scenarios for the role-in-need types of Roleplays, such as the second of these two events made some use of. If anyone has suggestions for either Drama or Comedy scenarios we can play out, at these, then your input is always welcome!

WEEK SIX My initial hopes of making a weekly update may have been a tad over-ambitious, with all else that goes on between guild admin work, IRL stuff, hosting events for other players, and actually playing the game! Will do my best, and I may get some of the best shots of weeks two through five in here, as another update. In the meanwhile, here's what was up, this past week: For starters, we had some different RP scenarios play out, at our "Council RP" event. Several members of the Jedi Council made themselves available at the guild Stronghold to address RP matters from volunteers. Players were able to bring forward their own RP scenarios, or were able to take a suggestion from the Council. This played out well, even if it was shorter than most of us would have liked, per scheduling conflicts with other community events. https://photos.app.goo.gl/aG5qF9FeUDhWdGg46 Next ,a couple of great shots from the weekly <THE REPUBLIC SPECFORCE> and <IMPERIAL BLACKOPS> ceremonies - RSF had a large turn-out, this week: https://photos.app.goo.gl/qWWUVeZ2DoDU2C4a8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/zaiZcNGx6thqR4jz7 Next, my best shot of Shadow Kinetic Combat Tank, a 201 or "advanced" class, part of our rank-up requirements. Yours truly is in our AFK channel in Discord, as I was working from home, at the time of this. Am always happy to attend to get some shots of things like this, however! https://photos.app.goo.gl/8fEossCRYmFgRJPN8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/KnAU3J1NNexs6DxL9 Heheh - and then the second shot I simply thought it worth to include. Yours truly had purchased some of the hardest loot in the game to get at these days - and it is still available! - and had posted one on the GTN as an *example*. Little did I realize that someone was willing to pay such an exorborant amount for this particular saber - but then again, it's also the only presently-obtainable option for Revan's saber in-game, right now! My best shots from this week's <MANDALORIAN CLANS> and <THE JEDI ORDER>'s ceremonies: https://photos.app.goo.gl/P8grefttnArQvf91A https://photos.app.goo.gl/LncCuHg85usCP69A9 And a shot of a special occasion in the community: A member achieved their Master-rank, having completed the Master Trials! https://photos.app.goo.gl/onPdu26nEuXRBTm49 A big congrats out to Master Besixi! Master is indeed a long road. The 8th had a lot going on! At a late hour no less, we then ran a 16-man SM Operation: https://photos.app.goo.gl/AycLZCTNxdEYqgFS8 And then <THE REPUBLIC PRIVATEERS> ceremony, on the 9th, followed by the <THE SITH ORDER>'s ceremony. Heh - were are a ceremonious guild-community, to say the least! https://photos.app.goo.gl/YPeaQFqJhiiMctCUA https://photos.app.goo.gl/HrNiPM7rC2QoJSpV9 A really good HUD-less shot of Phase One of the ceremony. Most ceremonies have three phases, and each ceremony uses some interesting locales. Suggestions from events-hosts are also quite welcome! This week, two of our Conquest officers have announced they will have to stop playing: 1 to attend to IRL stuff, 1 because his computer is shot. Suggestions on finding Conquest-interested players is greatly appreciated. Another week of adventures re-capped! If we don't cross paths in-game, then I'll hope to see you all, around the galaxy!
  19. SUGGESTIONS ON FINDING CONQUEST LEADERS? In the month of August, we've unfortunately had two of our officers in the Conquest roles announce that they will need to quit playing computer games to focus on IRL stuff for a few, by the end of this month. We've just posted internally about it - but how do I seek Conquest-interested people? Conquest provides a great income for players who don't regularly run "shops" in SWTOR - especially the named commanders. As a very large community, it's a must, to have! However, I can't really tell what to look for, in a Conquest leader, nor where to find Conquest-interested people, in-game nor on the forums. Any suggestions on where to look or to seek help are appreciated!
  20. TIP: Use the combination of Shift+Click on the screenshot links, to open a new window to view the screenshots; They are hosted at Google Photos, and this will prevent you from navigating away from SWTOR.com in your main window - despite what the prompt will say. Well, as it turns out, I *don't* think I'll be getting around to updating this thread every week! Planning and hosting events combined with all the stuff I do IRL and for the admin of the guild leaves little time for forums-recaps! However, I'll still do my best to update this thread, as to encourage ideas and suggestions. In this week's update, I'll detail one of our "Council RP"s. Between two of our sister guilds' ceremonies, yours truly had timed an event to have several of our officers available on their Council toons. We met in our guild's Stronghold, in our version of the Jedi Council chambers. Therein, volunteers brought up either their own scenarios, or took a suggestion from yours truly. My best screenshot, from this: https://photos.app.goo.gl/G1afzQiJGm6RGFTE7 Ideally, we were to orchestrate three scenarios, but we were running on borrowed time; the two events this fell between also take time to setup and disperse, from - so we only had time to play out two scenarios, this time. In the first scenario, Master Yimira brought up a personal RP matter with the Council. The exchanges are all un-scripted, as they only follow an original premise. Yimira had a chance to go back-and-forth with the Council on what she viewed as in-action, thus far. As such, we RP-ordered a full investigation, but also played down resources. In the end, it was decided to assemble a team from Shadows and sources within our Republic Privateers sister-guild. In the second scenario, a volunteer accepted a suggestion, based on COMEDY (the options are comedy or drama). As such, the volunteer - Knight Lhaertis - had no idea what the scenario would be, ahead of time! However, he was able to pick up on our queues, about being called before the Council to explain "how it was that an Elder Jedi in his care had passed away, during still-body meditation - and why it took nearly three days to realize this". Many expressed enjoyment at the premise, and Lhaertis had some awesome responses. In fact, he even threw in his own addition to the premise, in which he'd obtained a nearby rock that appeared to be humming - just as the Elder Jedi had been quite notoriously fond of doing. In the end, the scenario played out to the determination that the Elder was likely attempting to project his conscious self into the rock - except something went wrong! A twist we'd neither planned on, nor had any inkling of knowing ahead of time that this is how the scenario would play out - a true exercise in RP! Yours truly will attempt to keep up with updates, moving forward - even if they are not weekly. Again, any of your suggestions for 10-15 minute RP scenarios are welcomed, and encouraged!

HOSTS / SUGGESTIONS WANTED Yours truly is always looking to partner with other events-hosts and to onboard would-be events-hosts. In this thread, I'll update about events of the past weeks and ask for comments / suggestions / improvements to make them better, based on shared experience. In addition, if anyone is looking to partner for larger events, yours truly is also typically amiable. There were 20 guild events that yours truly was personally able to attend between 27JUN2020 and 05JUL2020. In this thread, I'll highlight some of what we do, and then ask for suggestions / improvements. If you're looking for Master Ahlvis's Adventures Chronicle for the JEDl guild community, check out some fun reading at: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9861274#post9861274 EVENT TYPE ONE: Role-In-Need Stand-Alone Roleplay Events https://photos.app.goo.gl/Dm8DhU7pmm3VTPix9 The first setting chosen was the Tythonian highlands. These are location-based, sometimes incorporating the location into the Roleplay that takes place. A relatively new type of event that yours truly will be pioneering this this - my 12th term on the Council - to see what it's draw is. Ideally hosted along with another event or near to the weekly ceremonies and weekend prime-time slots, I host RP scenarios with volunteers in front of witnesses to see how they play out a certain given scenario - some comedic and some dramatic. Will usually be setting a limit of three rounds to this per event, in order to keep time under 45 minutes. Any suggestions for RP scenarios two to four people can act out in ten minutes' time are always appreciated! More info to be found about this one - including the suggestions thread - at this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=981551 EVENT TYPE TWO: Weekly Jedi Initiation Ceremony https://photos.app.goo.gl/jLkHvmYuvcrTB47F6 Each School uses their class's powers to create a visual display, during their mention in the ceremony's opening. These are a basic requirement of ranking up within our community's primary guild. It's typically the single largest gathering of our Jedi during the course of the week, an is intended to wow new members with the size of some of our events. First, the new Initiates gather with us at the Masters' Retreat on Tython. An introduction is given, and a few visual displays happen. Then, the entire procession moves by walking to the taxi, then from the next taxi to the temple's upstairs combat-training room, where duels occur - to "measure the training and potential of new Initiates". Then, a short walk again occurs, but only over to the Jedi Archives. The names of the new members are "inscribed" into the Archives, and the guild's RP rules and some basic Code of Conduct stuff is covered. Always looking for improvements, but I don't expect much change, here. Different eras of the guild since 2011 have used different locations on Tython, including the combat areas outside the temple for phase 2, and using the guild Stronghold for phase 3 - to avoid trolls. However, if anyone can suggest something to spice up these time-honored weekly events (mostly on-going since 2004!) that have been the backbone of the Order's weekly agenda, then I'm all ears! EVENT TYPE THREE: Community Comic Book Photoshoots (No image, as the first of these is to take place this Saturday - very shortly after the weekly Jedi Initiation Ceremony!) There have been efforts in our community (and obviously others) to assemble either a regular or a limited-edition "comic book", using in-game screenshots with post-editing chat bubbles. Our community will gather this weekend to do an all-faction shoot between all 6 of our guilds on Planet Alderaan. If anyone has experience or would even want to come along, look for me Saturday evening around 10pm EST in-game as Ahlvis. I'll be testing out camera angles and making arrangements and formations with any of our community members in-attendance. Yours truly has no previous experience with such an endeavor, and am therefore seeking out the experience of anyone else who possibly formerly has. Again, both suggestions and actual in-game help with these events is much appreciated. Yours truly has hosted hundreds of player-events over time, and I know it's possible to miss a small detail that greatly improves the enjoyment and liveliness of some in-game events.

WEEK ONE Yours truly has recently returned in-force to the game, and am wanting to keep an activity log of the adventures of <THE JEDl ORDER>, since we constantly do some really great stuff! Some of this will be unique events of my own creation; some of it is just content that most guilds do, and some includes the unique content of others, within the JEDl community. There are a couple of guilds with *very* similar names, so if anyone wants to look us up, we are level 220 as of 30JUN2020 (At least one of the other similar-named guilds was a former alts-dump, before the member-maximum was raised). Just wanting to chronicle some of what we do on Server Satele Shan, just as was chronicled for other forums, previously. Herein, we'll begin with the recap of the first week (8 days)of my 12th Council term, 27JUN to 05JUL2020. Highlights include a change in time for weekly ceremonies, some of my officer duties, and the launch of a new type of RP event - as *part* of our regular activity. Anything pictured herein is also only the events that yours truly was able to attend, personally; There's plenty other adventures to be had, asides from these 20: This all said, let the chronicle begin.... Saturday 27JUN2020 saw the last of our Saturday Morning Initiation Ceremonies. Each quarter, the community officers for the new term change or update, and scheudles and events-preferences are shifted. These ceremonies are a great chance for newcomers to both the game and to our guilds to experience a massive gathering of Jedi and to taste group-RP. Each of these events will feature my favorite screenshot, from them. https://photos.app.goo.gl/dNfPfyAT8yb9DyFU8 A celebratory finish to the proceedings. Jedi powers can make for some great visual effects! Next, a shot from a Lore 101 Class, also on 27JUN2020. These such classes are requirements to seek advancement in guild-ranks, and are generally dual-faction - to maximize who in the community can attend and on what toons. https://photos.app.goo.gl/VdF22EaZByfAVTzq5 https://photos.app.goo.gl/BEvbuAAXvBQ9GdT86 A Republic-side World Boss Hunt followed. While the community has plenty of unique events and functions, we still ensure to run all of the game content for members. The <MANDALORIAN CLANS> Meetings are new, to me. I've had Mando toons in our Mando guild for a long, long time - but never played them much. The happenings and guild events as they have been hosted in the last few months are great, however, and have pulled in my attention. https://photos.app.goo.gl/BxSnxSktQ4jEQ27z9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/KPr6kXU1s7Uwb5RE6 A second event was run back-to-back with the weekly guild meeting. Our Mandos played on the past histories of the Mandalorians and the raiding of the Cathar homeworld. Some of our members hopped to their Cathar alts to oppose them more-evenly, and we used the play-field arena that is on the top deck of the patrol cruiser in the Rishi stronghold. An awesome setting, to behold! Next up was an <Imperial BlackOps> Induction Ceremony, followed by an Ops run that we put together to help some guildies meet their PvE requirements for rank-up. Our guilds use faction-specific in-game chat-channels that can be used across the guilds. These tools help us to run events that are not limited to a single guild's capacities. https://photos.app.goo.gl/LBSgx7Mzn35vQQR18 https://photos.app.goo.gl/7cfMh1iX5RmLbMSp6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/RHXu5Q4eeJ4s7925A The last shot is a high-def shot that yours truly took, in order to replace my old Discord profile pic. As much as I enjoyed running flight sorties for Lt Bakarn Sinkklo in SWG, it's probably less-than-appropriate for a Councilmember to have an imperial profile pic. Next up were the Privateers' Induction Ceremony, followed my the Jedi Initiation Ceremony, both 28JUN2020. These are usually this well-attended: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7pJbWmVwyYgHaUqw9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/YiVepfEo1mChNWN4A Jedi has always remained the largest guild, as we came from Orion's <JEDl> in SWG. Our weekly ceremonies are infamous for their size, and often draw a good deal of onlookers when moving from one location to another, on Planet Tython. Next, a shot from a Conquest Run hosted by our sister-guild, <The Republic Privateers>. Yours truly is Riq over there. Gunslinger is my favorite gameplay out of all of the classes, and it's good to be able to put his efforts towards a collective cause. https://photos.app.goo.gl/oYju5MJhddtLMuQJ8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/GrBerP7LgWMGdUV87 A run to help a guildie fill out his Ops requirement, for guild-rank requirements. The Rank Trials are a time-honored tradition and have been modified many, MANY times since SWTOR launched. New content often meant new challenges - but some rank-requirements are quite basic, and fulfilled with a larger selection of a specific activity. The end of a Datacron hunt, next. This shows the last three in the group, though we numbered 5 at the start. Usually encompassing 2 worlds at a time, this is another good example of ensuring that we also cover the game's provided content, as well as providing our own. Then, as shot of the after-exchange after I lost a duel to a guildie. He needed this for his Rank-Trials. https://photos.app.goo.gl/gWveLFc1ntXiap72A https://photos.app.goo.gl/fndge1kisJDYNCZP7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/S7EJKX8jzREG5P9q9 An RP 101 Class, hosted by yours truly. We were in my personal stronghold, and moved a few times while going over the basics of Roleplay: the tools available for it, the etiquette, what to expect and how to act, as well as how to best configure one's UI. Then, a shot of me duelling K'lohn, for his Rank Trials: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fkVoZpmBh2i1ZayX8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/gSxEcskbVDtM1sFT7 The first of our new "Role-In-Need" Roleplay events! Different scenarios were prepared and a volunteer chose comedic or dramatic. Yours truly acted as host, and queue'd the volunteer with some dialogue. Three different scenarios were played out, one per volunteer. Some great fun was had from this, and it set the tone for such events, going forward. Then, a fun shot from the <MANDALORIAN CLANS> ceremony, at it's new time and night. Our community has a lot of get-togethers, with 6 guild meetings/week and usually some content hosted from each guild. https://photos.app.goo.gl/ABDVkMXJv6pgm8r7A https://photos.app.goo.gl/pxdKpcSk387TXkUH8 A lot of these are followed by content immediately. In this case, the community then hosted an Imperial Ops Run. Valley of the Machine Gods provides some incredible fight sequences. We did end up hosting events on the 4th of July. This was the first event since the reschedule for <The Republic SpecForce> Turn-out was expectedly a bit low, but the guild can still make a scene, when our members get together. https://photos.app.goo.gl/BruuDXANTtrUsP4x6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/N2JPs6UXw2n1btdn7 Then a shot of our weekly Initiation Ceremony, back on Saturday evenings. These consist of three phases, and this is the combat-testing phase. The Temple Guard assist, in-uniform. Another Ops Run, Imp-side. This was my first time running The Nature of Progress, as I've been in-and-out of the game since the last major update. It was great to crush this content, with some guildies! https://photos.app.goo.gl/cHojh2wBk8E1uY466 https://photos.app.goo.gl/tbEraYJMcQ96f9pr6 And a fun shot from the Privateers' ceremony, on its new night and time. Even the shots I took in low-def are still capable of showing quite the party scene! Check this thread for further adventures, as the ORDER's tales span the galaxy onward - as they have since 2004!
  23. TIP: Use the combination of Shift+Click on the screenshot links, to open a new window to view the screenshots; They are hosted at Google Photos, and this will prevent you from navigating away from SWTOR.com in your main window - despite what the prompt will say. INTRODUCING "ROLE-IN-NEED" ROLEPLAYS As the Roleplay Headmaster of the Sage School within <THE JEDl ORDER>, yours truly is host to many Roleplay events and functions, within the guild-community (meaning all 6 of our guilds). This quarter marks the 12th term of Ahlvis No'vaik upon the Council - and with this quarter comes a new type of Roleplay event that our community will be host to: "Role-In-Need" Roleplay events. https://photos.app.goo.gl/DU5rD47DC4P8XUpE8 A screenshot of our very first "Role-In-Need" Roleplay event, this past week. One observer for the event commented that it was probably un-wise to break the news being delivered while cliff-side, given the potential for emotion in receiving such news.... During the event, three volunteers were had. They were presented with the option of Drama or Comedy. A scenario was given, and then yours truly queue'd in the volunteer to their part in the scenario with some initial dialogue. This was all script-free asides from the scenario ideas. The scenarios played out between us this week were: (1) COMEDY - With the galaxy recently back at war, new supply/shower/dietary restrictions are in-place for all Jedi upon Planet Tython. The volunteer has some.... *creative* complaints about the shortages and the rationing. (2) DRAMA - The volunteer has recently discovered that the accident that orphaned him actually had survivors, from his family. However, he is being told now that his request to the Council to meet these family members has been denied. (3) DRAMA - The volunteer is meeting with a representative of the Jedi Council to learn that their life-long dream of seeking Knighthood within the Order has been ruled impossible, as they are too weak with the Force. Each of these scenarios was played out between yours truly as the host and a different volunteer, each round. As predicted, this lasted about 35-40 minutes, and provided an outlet for Roleplay. The volunteers didn't have to commit what occured into their characters' canon lore - but it was an option to establish such occurances and experiences. Yours truly will seek to keep this thread updated with the scenarios that we end up playing out, in these events - and am very open to suggestions for more such short "Role-In-Need"'s!
  24. An excellent idea! /GolfClap, sir. /GolfClap Would definately enjoy this, as an option.
  25. WEEK TWO Has it only been a couple of weeks? Seems like much longer, when you do as much in-game as our toons do! This week's Chronicle entry features some much better screenshots - not to mention the plethera of events that they document! Have been watching the camera angles, and taking more screenies, for your enjoyment. This week's highlights include a "Best Dressed"-type fashion show, Ops runs, guild meetings, and Guild storyline advancement RP-events. Enjoy! First, a few shots from "The Best Dressed in the Galaxy" fashion-type show. The community has put these on, from time-to-time, but it's the first one that yours truly partook in as a participant, rather than a spectator. Six contestants completed for several million credits in prizes, and the spectators and judges voted to determine who was our winner. https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipOARxshFER610M8s_bfRJxXU3M7s8henSBxx2Q https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipPCVwkS3U7e1b8BcWGnW_snlByHBWyK8aGCR1Q https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipPbe6kwBNL-Zjrb4wFmU8Fm1zLEP73QlR2b8io Ultimately, yours truly came in 3rd place. I liked the versatility of the outfit I'd come up with, but the judges and spectators liked the outfits of two of the other contestants, better. No worries - this certainly wasn't the first such event we've hosted, over the years, and it likely isn't to be the last! Grats to Revnes and Tanami, who came in first and second, respectively. Now, while we are called "The Jedi Order Community of Guilds", the Jedi part is simply the largest guild; It *definately* isn't the only one! Here's some screenshots from the other largest guild in our pantheon, <THE SlTH ORDER>'s weekly ceremony: https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipO9dX3XkDD0LYUv-y-73kwa4AsF0eSqU5T8wn8 https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipNkXMX9mWPUBBO1trWQg_hUnoRd7HjTdrygSEk https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipPnrMjPQy4RZNZZ_SB9uvsyayn5b1CeRZeAZaM The Sith ceremonies are decidedly a lot darker - but then, it's often argued that the 'bad guys' typically have the better outfits, in fantasy genres. I'm kind of on-the-fence, there, but I do enjoy how much more deadly the environment at a Sith ceremony is! Next, our weekly Jedi Induction Ceremony! Always some great shots, from these: https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipNH_2iiH8ScktJcrkMcEkYFYoqBr9GseJiJJTU https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipMAAF704hiphpGNHQZzx9rgUObtFNFedmcLDe4 https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipMgOCqcG6e_9_B7Oi8Kkr9kt8BEZfp15ZVpjzM https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipMm1hNkdZ06iPS2QuKDAwpVvscifszmBPIa1Ek This is typically done to awe the new joiners to the community. While usually the largest venue of the week, it's far from the only RP that the community offers. I'd wager that church never looked like this! A shot from the Knighting of Sulrohir and Tanami: https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipNWcRMlxTa6PE8NmHlJlnu_hrFr1N4dPJf1J1M Knightings are done to denote a community member's completion of the Jedi Knight Trials. These such trials have changed numberous times over the 8 years since SWTOR launched, and they are intended to provide both challenge and a sense of journey, for our would-be Jedi. An impromptu in-game meeting of some of our Council members. It was kind of getting late, but unless something else is pre-scheduled, it's never a *bad* time for roleplay! https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipOYGLvKDR7oNg993_D-41qsziuhDJdU4eYaN7E The static Jedi chairs in-game aren't typically the best for sitting, upon. Sometimes, we'll literally just pull a /chair6 over a static one, and no one is much the wiser. A single screenie from a guild-run "Progression" Operation. I don't typically think to grab many screenies during combat. https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipOWtzVt-LC5qvGiuxSfCKbxN9d9Rzix-_pJpnw While not the most-exciting shot, it certainly shows an epic scene. There are typically a few operations runs, every week, and I've been wanting to lead both Tuesday night 'queue-up' Ops, as well as a weekly 'progression' run, to go through ALL of the Ops-content. A couple of shots from this week's afore-mentioned 'Queue-Up' Op. It ended up being Explosive Conflict. Only a couple of the DPS weren't part of the community. https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipMTG-6hQ2crPWFXav3d7oAywDixQNyc-dfIjkI https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipOv45fquq5m3tHpuSAi2AuReX4nEgqMcoa4wlE The Dread Masters' Chosen One - dead at our feet. I got both the Firebrand Tank loot drop AND the Kephess customization for Qyzen. While Qyzen has always been my companion of choice, I like him red - and the customization makes him gray; A guildie was happy to take the customization off my hands, at no charge. Good times! On Thursday, we advanced the guild story-arc of the Grandmaster of our Sect having been kidnapped, a couple of weeks prior. <REPUBLIC SPECFORCE> - another of our community's guilds - had RP intel that an imperial officer was at this base, having been re-assigned to the chaos of Planet Corellia, after irking a Sith Lord with direct knowledge of the movements of their prisoner. A few great shots here, beginning with the pre-storm briefing: https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipM3LJLDyy7RMlkLLKaGtk36ciVOXnuI9wByDSc https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipPkY6tPziub-AUI9fB53p8iUjDXCaU9NUx7D0A https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipMB_Pf9gntLJzuft_o47P3q5_HnV2cEDElx7fc https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipN7oKWsj1vLyaxjFHtZBP2g4mMi6kqAr5-gQ1M https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipMZkHKZB6kBvyY9kDZxkrxDdkoc8jprTr968XM https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipNCJL15N9Of_vzG5EBSjFKD-8NOCEe6-w9yseA https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipNmxD82geaOngBw6qP_ea4buj4Eqq9UiUCLI6o The screenshots for such events typically tell the story in-and-of-themselves, but essentially: We received our briefing and formed a plan of action, stormed the base, found the 'High Value Target', extracted some useful information from him, struck a deal, then returned to the safety of a ship in orbit, for a debrief. It had been decided to wrap up the story-arc the next day, on Friday. The ceremonies were missing a Grandmaster for our sect of the Jedi, and it was decided not to prolong her return, any further. Some great screenshots from this event, as well: https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipMaiYN4InzQfkyquZHxbyDN9l0nZWZhVMUifOQ https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipM2YH8lz6i4C8LPiigfpMaYy9sSyNRiU575QYg https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipM8_4YzTGYTYNgrw4zIkg8FEw1yUGJgamz8gZQ https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipNaM6QPMqYSauHuzahe4psKz3yPlNT5MhtPO-Y https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipPW0CjrBGLa7vnDx-QdkRVuur76CKsAd_ttEEU https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipO_09pIXkUsrG6w7qilTcW7u_AV1RKXEZGq9h4 Essentially, the intel obtained from the previous event detailed the hidden and careful movements of the Grandmaster as a prisoner from many worlds, as the Sith attempted to move her to a hidden location in Imperial space, beyond the notice of the Jedi and the SIS. We ambushed the Sith contingent, as the Jedi Shadows snuck in and freed her. This done, a hasty withdrawl was performed, and the Grandmaster was brought back to the safety of an awaiting battlecruiser, in orbit. After a brief welcome back, the ship left the system, before Imperial Navy reinforcements could arrive. Lastly, a Friday run at the Dread Palace. Again, I'm terrible at remembering to take screenshots during combat: https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNT69O0-YAdGcbRqLPbugEyJfKIB788NN9Ij5k/photo/AF1QipMTsT2LsXdJ5RtGgkU9zGBTbKXvNPg2puNiGd4 A challenging run. This night, we did *not* succeed in killing the operation - but we do a lot of Ops, and the occasional failure is certainly inevidible. More to come, for any of our interested readers! The adventures of <THE JEDl ORDER> are great, many, and often; there will certainly be more to document, before Q4 of 2019 is over. Until then, MTFBWY, and we'll hope to see you all, around the galaxy!
