  1. How far in the SoR storyline? I will want to do the class quest on every character, but I can't imagine wanting to do the SoR storyline more than two or three times per faction. It's going to be very disappointing if the class quest is locked behind hours of faction story.
  2. That's very disappointing. I understand why you don't want the story spoiled, but you desperately need to at least test the rest of the 3.0 stuff and the operations as widely as possible. Every single time this game has failed to put new content on the open PTS, there have been simple problems to catch that make their way to live. Take a note from Blizzard, swallow your pride and put it all up there for testing. This is an MMO, not a single player game, and the story spoilers have to take a back seat to having everything function correctly.
  3. Definitely. The first or second of a placed item should count a lot more than the tenth, and the fiftieth shouldn't affect the score at all. That would still just encourage spamming everything, but that's better than metal chairs and trophies everywhere.
  4. It's coming "this year", will have a level cap increase, and contains Revan. That's all we know. They promised more info by the end of the month. They also considered that video they released today to be a "teaser" though, so it's unclear what "more info" means to them.
  5. It's sad (and infuriating) when you compare BW against Blizzard. Both SWTOR and WoW had their last core content drop at the same time last year, and both will have their expansion drop at about the same time. We have known the basics of the WoW expansion since the beginning of the year, with more and more details about content, class balance, new features, and mechanics changes flowing out the whole time. People have been playing parts of it on the alpha and beta servers for months. That is how you launch an MMO expansion, because there wasn't a year in the middle there where people wondered if something was going to happen at all. All we know about 3.0 is that it's a "big expansion", will raise the level cap, and has Revan in it. That's disgraceful this close to release. Nobody is asking for a rundown of the story spoilers, but we do need details on everything else.
  6. Your ship location has zero relation to which planet you are invading. The GM invades directly from the conquest UI, and the only thing that ties it to the guild ships at all is that you need one to activate conquests.
  7. All objectives have their requirements clearly stated, along with whether they have an invasion bonus for a particular planet and how much that bonus is (usually 2x or 3x). That string that says economy doesn't mean anything.
  8. They have repeatedly and as recently as last week confirmed that it's still coming this year. I have an extremely strong suspicion that the name of the expansion contains another Name which is a huge spoiler if you haven't gone through the current FP chain story (ending with the Rakata one in 2.10). IMO that's a terrible reason to keep completely silent on the expansion (similar to if WoW had kept everything about WoD secret to this point because they wanted to keep Garrosh escaping prison a secret), but I think it's what's going on. Expect the big announcements to come a week or so after 2.10 hits, so the end of September. There are other indications of possible timing, but that also can't be talked about here.
  9. I think it's extremely important that the PvP and PvE both have equivalently grindable repeatable objectives. If you want to kill grinding, then fine, but it needs to be equally killed for PvE and PvP (of course then you even further incentivize soulless zerg guilds, which IMO should be discouraged). Mainly, start looking at your point allocations as points per hour instead of whatever calculations you are using now. Also, the legacy lockouts are alt hostile, and need to go.
  10. Does anyone have any pictures of the unlockable rooms on the guild ships yet? They showed the hangar on the stream a few weeks ago, and I found a picture of the hallway on the crew deck (spoiler, it's a hallway), but I'm most interested in engineering and the command deck. It's going to take my guild quite a while to unlock any room, and we need to start deciding which encryptions to get, which is hard without pictures.
  11. Based on my limited testing, "invading" doesn't actually have anything to do with where your ship is, or the stronghold system. There is an "Invade" button on the planet name in the conquest UI, and I invaded Balmorra this week while the ship was still at Makeb. Later I moved it to Balmorra with no ill consequences. I'm not going to risk losing our points by testing moving it away right now, but I can verify that you don't lose points by just moving the drop location on planet. My gut tells me the ship can be moved anywhere and it doesn't matter, but I'll test for sure next week. The bottom line here is that I don't think they can tie an invasion permission to keys. It would have to be a new general permission, and they have been pretty hesitant to add those. There are quite a few things only the the GM can do.
  12. I don't understand either, I can't see them ever doing it. Frankly, I'm still surprised they let us transfer mods in legacy gear. I suspect that the question is whether or not we can store BoP stuff in there at all (still bound to a character), not whether to effectively make everything BoL.
  13. No. Chat is currently shared with the planets, but they are their own instance. The loading times were very quick on the livestream.
  14. Legacy Storage Access Points are stronghold decor, which is entirely different than Legacy Storage Bays which are where you actually store things. You can craft/buy more access points, because you want to put them in different rooms. Have you seen the stream walkthroughs? They are massive, with 8 or 9 rooms each. I can definitely see a desire for more than one per stronghold.
