  1. I'm glad the thread stayed pretty civil. I guess I didn't put positive in my post which I should have started out with. In my defense I had just found out after I obtained my dye that I really wanted (after a lot of previewing lol) that my chest couldn't be changed. I love the idea of customization. When I saw it in gw2 i was like "wow every game should do this!" I agree with previous posters though in that we should be allowed to tag any colour we want to any thing we want. It just makes the game more "mine" and for some reason really enjoyable. As for dyes, they should be reverse engineerable so that more distribution can happen imo. Also again, I'd like to see that if you buy colours from the market, you should get it added to your collectables options with the ability to legacy it across the board. Bit of compromise ?!
  2. Is anyone else feeling a little, ripped off? Maybe ripped off isn't the proper wording, maybe "wanting." I find the system so constraining being unable to colour all gear. I find the cost of it to be a little crazy as well. I realize BW/EA wants monies, but to incur such a cost to get 2 dyes, that aren't permanent...seems really silly. Just my opinion. I wish mmo's would rob off each other more....BW...go look at GW2, up front dye cost but then its good to go after that so people can play with their toons whenever they like without sinking in more money. And for the love of God pls make everything colourable, I mean really there's no reason not to.

  5. If you think balancing is anywhere near normal I want some of what you're smoking. Yes healing needed a bit of a nerf. They did that with expertise. They then further nuked merc/com healers, sages to a certain degree and made smug/ops top dawg. But that was never the real problem. The real problem was wz's always de-evolve into medal farming, personal grudges or epeen. If healers are marked and not immediately focus'ed then that's not because they are op as shyte, its because people are stupid as shyte. As for lack of dps, last night i was with a premade, actually double premade in Voidstar. I had a Jugg choke me and then maurader gore then ravage me for 15k total. The maurader was in recruit gear, I in full BM. Guys on my team were like *** happened to you.
  6. And you must be a jk/sw or sin/shadow. I complain about damage as a Commando because I don't do any. Before anyone could easily counter me if they line of sighted. In the open there were some classes we could battle with but now there's only the sniper. Pound for Pound, rice has more survivability then us, and orange juice hurts more.
  7. Still Pull mod for 30k plus, RE, Fail. Repeat 30 times. Solve various world problems like cancer, discover cold fusion, Get schematic from RE woot!!!! Wait, it costs what to make that.... /wrists
  8. no fixs to gameplay, pvp, pve, crafting, dancing in the middle of Stormwind, nope just 4 hours to make sure you can fix that toon you just created with the ankle dolphin tattoo that should have been a butterfly. Seriously though, fix RE thx oh and slicing
  9. Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but the heal on Field Aid, not sure how much, is lost if you cleanse the person that's at 100% hp. So ammo cost and a potentially full or partially wasted heal?
  10. So after mulling it over for a couple days I'm sticking to my guns, get rid of medals. The new objective based medals is going to do nothing to fix the current situation. I've talked to a few people and the feedback I've gotten is as follows. Tank classes "All this means is that I just get more medals. I wait to see group fights and taunt, shield a healer. As for passing the ball, why would I ever do that now since I can just continuously leap to the goal line." Healers "Why would I stay healing in pvp anymore? I can't get medals now, I certainly won't be able to cap anything since I'm usually focused and too far at ranged to beat anyone to a node to click and cap. At least as dps I can double my medal gain." Dps "I'm going to farm my 8-10 easy medals then I'm just going to wait for engages and try and cap. Why hold mid in Civil War when I can be at right trying to ninja cap for more medals." These are paraphrases of statements in convo's I've had but they hold true. Get rid of medals, get rid of the end of match meters(If pve can't see what they do why give the **** measuring going on in pvp any push), and make winning important.
  11. They are apparently adding 14 objective based medals. Incoming.... Never passing the ball in huttball, All 8 people capping a door/node in Void/Civil War with no one trying to cut off the opposing side. Or "It's just too hard so I'm going back to farming my 10 medals and I'll let someone else do the other stuff."
  12. Make valor earned by winning and by losing or by objectives. Losing matches because some people are farming 10 medals is ridiculous. Being farmed instead of the game taking its natural course is demoralizing.
  13. Obviously you guys picked nerfing water. I mean yeah it was a bit dumb but hey, it gave us non tanks 2 free easy medals to their 5. I mean I can't see how it was that big a deal, especially considering.................. YOU GUYS LET 12 PEOPLE INTO WARZONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope everyone does this for every match now on because really, you need to protect yourself. I had over 40 losses last week with the majority because someone Q exploited. Forecast for next patch based on current trends. Nerfing rakata med paks again, but not fixing ability to one shot raid bosses. Nerfing amount of colours certain gear comes in but not fixing exploit where someone can loot 1 million credits from chests. Yes sarcasm, but honestly it seems thats the bloody way things are going currently. HOw can anyone have faith in the game(lord knows i've defended the thing) when you'll fix a bug that doesn't count some ilum kill creds, but you will let the imps on my server win all day long with 12 peeps.
  14. Your comment is so mature and helpful. The point is hitting that milestone and then not having to put up with the broken *** system. Last week I had a record of 14 wins and 48 losses. Not that losing is a bad thing, because I really do enjoy pvp, but over 90% of those loses were to the Que bug of facing 10 or more people. Pile that onto the new 50 regime that just absolutely suck, I'm getting my BM gear, taking my ball, and going home.
  15. I never realized that Q'ing solo would be the nightmare that it is. New 50's rolling against imp premades. It was demoralizing. I'm glad I only need 4 more bm tokens for full gear and then I can stop. On another note, my alt that is now lvl 49.....seriously considering to not let her hit 50.
  16. I'm for Star Wars, in whatever content that reasonably holds to the story. Is it reasonable that a guy wants a guy or *insert permutation here*, yes. I mean it's dam well more reasonably the being a female trooper and doing a Cat man.
  17. I'd have to think Mauraders/Sentinels are hands downs winners in a 1v1 octagon. I will say I've seen a Hybrid Sorc/Sage attrition them to death as well, but they have to be lucky. Anyone that thinks a Gunnery Commando and it's mirror can win a 1v1 vs a same skilled/geared player is delusional. Pls go play one. No interupt, one hard cc, one soft(cast time). Say against a sorc. Step 1. interupt grav/tracer and eliminate all synergies with those spells. Step 2. Force stun the next grav - tracer Step 3. interupt is up again Step 4. knock back the 4th attempt Step 5. Force stun is up again. win.

    12v8 warzones.

    So yesterday, I couldnt', for the first time get my wz daily done. Why do you ask, no its not cause we were baddies, though I wouldn't vote a lot of people i played with for president. And no it wasn't solar flares. It was because imps had over 8 people in the wz every single time. I asked an imp friend to ask someone I saw repeatedly, and APPARENTLY if you group with 4, let the other 3 people join in and reload your ui, it'll spawn a 2nd que for them. They take it, instant stacked team, instant win. So in a patch that lasted 2 hours for making sure you get ever ilum kill credit possible...you choose that over fixing the largest pvp bug this game has encountered?
  19. I realize patches happen and I'm all for improvements. If someone from BW or if anyone knows how patches get put in/implemented that would be awesome. Talking on vent about a 0.2 meg patch taking 4 hours to do, I'd just like to know the process since I'm paying for the time. Cheers
  20. Haven't seen any higher form stuff yet from r/e'ing these. 8 belts to get a proc, 8 bracers to get a proc and currently have done 17 relics with no proc. I want to proc my relic to see if I can proc the Columi stuff from hard modes.
  21. Most people are starting to realize the craziness about the chilled water item you get when trying to make a magenta crystal and how it gives 50% of your hp back ooc. I mean what were devs thinking with this item. Shadow/Assassin Vanish, use item, pop back in and kill you. Chasing someone on Ilum. They get ooc and pop item and come back and kill you. Or at least change the name of the item to the Rakata OOC Medpak Extraordinaire. Oh wait if you do that then you'll just cut 1/2 its healing for no reason.

While I do applaud the idea of not making biochem so attractive that everyone just has to get it, I don't think having something that's reusable be the only perk of being a crafting trade skill. First medpacs were nerfed because they gave apparently too much hp, especially in pvp, but yet the pvp equivalent heals for more and scales with your gear. The 15% hp gain is by no means better then the hot (except for a tank I guess). Now the stims and adrenals are going to parady the blue ones with the only bonus being reusable. I echo someone else's comments on how easy money comes by in this game so effectively, you've made biochem as useless really as the other tradeskills. All I can hope is they don't take proc'ing augments on rakata belt/bracer/relics away or really there will be no reason to be any tradeskill whatsoever.
  23. Does anyone know if the named (eg Hawkeye) r/e discoveries can occur on the columi implant/earpiece schematics that drop from hard mode EV. I see them listed on torhead, but has anyone actually procced one of these?
  24. I don't care about the QQ quitters. All the passive aggressive, "I'm going to quit or else," nonsense/garbage is just lame and pathetic entertainment on the forums. Also, the "OMG there is nothing to do at 50 because I expect this game to dish me everything, for no effort and yet still have content never-ending," is equally garbage. I will say though, as someone trying to struggle to have a guild raid enjoyably, and semi-competitively (for a bunch of casuals) its really hard without a little more raid utility. Hopefully some changes to come about, and I'm wondering if anyone can link dev posts to the any of these changes so we might see a bit of hope in the distance. Dual spec - if only for the ability to have raid utility since, especially on 8 man, you go from needing 1 tank, to 2, to 1, and i think its unfair to put that burden on one person or class. Healing balancing - Atm i see no reason to run anything but sage healers. Their aoe/shields > the 3 person aoe'er Commando and the 4 person smuggler. Not for content clearing per say, more for a difference of pace. Summoning for raids - We probably all miss the lock tv, and I know that there was something in Beta. Does anyone know where that went? Is it not Sopa compliant ;P??? Tank threat gen - We seem to find that shadow's seem to have less threat probs, and more survivability. I've read a few threads on it, is there a balancing act in the works?. ATM only one request and this one is a bit silly, but can the repair droid on the bridge deck be moved to the mission deck where all the death happens, as opposed to on the deck where nothing happens?
  25. Go ahead drop biochem, even though its still the best raiding/pvp crew skill. Just some info for you though; They aren't 2 different items, they both give help. Thats not a nerf, that's working as intended. The nerf is what they did to the hp the pack gave back, and the ridiculous "last stand" effect they put on it, which is useless to anyone besides a tank. The nerf is making the blue non reusable now have the hp hot on it, making it better then the purple. But no, not being able to hp pot back to full, that's not a nerf.
