  1. We had 680k points this week with only 1 person doing the conquest over 5 characters. Every one of the characters broke 100k +. The previous week we had almost 2million conquest points while invading the small yield. This has something to do with the patch. In one of the original posts a guildmate signed in before the patch and got the reward on 2 of his 5 characters. Post patch when he logged in to the other characters (all of which made conquest as well) they did not get the quest pop-up to get their rewards. Now, for the second week in a row, its doing the same thing.
  2. You dont have the Conquest Reward bug that multiple people are complaining about that is now on-going for the second week. The responses from the CSR team have been absolutely garbage with stuff like "our records show you or your guild didnt complete conquest, so sorry for your luck....please continue to pay us money for wasting your time. kthxbai". This week I took screenshots and filed ANOTHER bug report and support ticket. How about an actual acknowledgment that this is a real GAME BREAKING issue?
  3. Once again Conquest Rewards are not being given even though the Guild met the goal of 500k points and characters met their 100k Conquest objective. I took screenshots this time to prove to the CSR that they are full of crap when they say we didnt make conquest, so we dont get conquest rewards. Anyone else having this same issue this week?
  4. If this is true, i am cancelling my subscription. Conquest is the only reason I play. What a complete waste of time last week was. I wont be making that mistake again.
  5. What about the Conquest rewards not being rewarded after patch? There have been numerous people complaining about it but no response from the devs. The CSR team was a joke in dealing with the issue.
  6. Exactly! The only reason I still play is to get the encryptions to unlock more of our star ship. I wasted hours last week getting conquest on multiple characters for nothing. And the best their CSR person can tell me is "our logs show you didnt make conquest so.....sorry bout your luck". How the eff do you not have logs you can check? Or do you, and you are just too lazy to do it?
  7. I opened a ticket for this as well, but my Guild did not get the conquest mission rewards after logging in post-patch. The quest dialogue doesn't even come up. A guild member logged in pre-patch on Tuesday and was able to get the rewards for 2 of his characters, but his other three post-patch did not get the quest completion either. The response from the ticket I opened was that the characters didn't complete conquest or the guild didn't complete the conquest, which was incorrect. We got almost 2million points when we only needed 500k. We cant be the only guild having this issue.
  8. Have they found a work around or a fix for the Quick Play bug at character selection screen? I cant even get in to the game because of it. -nevermind, i see someone posted a somewhat work around.

A lot of people will complain other classes are OP because they dont bother learning the mechanics of that class that are beating them...if they did they would know the counters for it with their class. In terms of Surgical Probe, a stun at the right time is all it takes to finish the kill. Save your DPS cooldowns for that phase to seal the deal. Not difficult. As for "what if its ranged" all ranged classes also have a ranged CC they can use to do the same thing.
  12. lul wut? I have never.....EEEEEEEEEEVER been knocked down by DFA. It only does that to standard and weak enemies, and I am a BAWS sir. The change to DFA was stupid.
  13. The main difference is the damage type between Mercs and PT, not so much the added pistol. Mercs deal mostly 'Ranged' dps, which is mitigated by armor. Pyro deal mostly elemental damage which isn't mitigated by armor. As for DPS, I think the Pyro tree is much nicer. It is more mobile for the fights where you gotta move out of crap, its has more forgiving range, and you only have to watch for 1 proc. AP offers a bit more utility/situational abilities, such as Hydraulic overrides, and hitman, but it does not have the burst of Pyro. Also, from all of my parses on long boss fights, the majority of my damage comes from the buffed combustible gas cylinder DOT that is applied with flame burst, rail shot is usually right behind it. So you are still doing a majority of your damage while you are moving, and with railshot you can reset the burn effect of CGC if its on the target. Heat management with Pyro can be a bit tricky, and if you are not careful you could find yourself using rapid shots for a long time while your heat drops, especially during 'burn phase' bosses like stage 3 of SOA, or the Annihilator droid in KP. That could severely affect your DPS, with AP, you get a passive 8 heat drop every few seconds, so even if you do over heat, you arent screwed for long like in Pyro if vent heat is on CD.
  14. I have never lost to any jugg ever on my PT. Even post 1.2 nerf to Pyro, I still melt them down much faster than they can kill me. If you are talking about the Merc pyro builds, my mistake lol. Ranged damage FTL.
  15. It is like the exact opposite of Frost Mages in Cata. Every patch note was another buff to frost mages mainly geared towards PvP. Oh, a frost mage can wipe the floor with anyone but maybe a huntard in 10 seconds flat. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Heres a buff. I dont play my operative that much as it is, as it already feels weak and clunky. I typically pvp on my powertech, but they are getting reamed with a sand paper covered nerf bat too. the Carolina Parakeet build is getting gutted, as well as the pyrotech tree with no buffs to AP to make up for it. Apparently killing an Inquisitor or Consular is a big no no in PvP.
  16. And thats also assuming that you are partial Shield Tech to get the charge. Those that got full Pyro/AP dont have that distance closer unless grapple is off cooldown, and the target isnt full resolved. Ive been burned down by nothing but TM before I could close the distance. I will admit it is rare, but it has happened. If I can close the distance, most classes are toast. Some operatives i cant blow up before I am heat capped, and sometimes, a mediocre played Sorc/consular will just bubble and heal through my damage until i am heat capped, and then they proceed to have non consentual intercourse with my face.
  17. The portion of the flashpoint that deals with the spawning of clones is not thousands of lines. They only need to fix that part, not the entire flashpoint. And any developer worth his paycheck is going to know exactly where that functionality is. My guess for this not being fixed yet is because its not a high priority over other bugs in the game, or they just dont know why its doing it.
  18. Wrong. Top damage. I have done this exact same thing in BGs on my merc. Sit back, Spam 1 button, Profit.
  19. The problem isnt the fact its spammed....its the fact that it not only hits like a truck, it also reduces the armor of the target, so each one hits even harder. And that debuff stacks with other mercs' debuffs. 1 merc/commando is bad enough for melee...2 of them can shred any melee class in seconds without ever having to hit anything else.
  20. You fight Draagh twice. The first encounter in the airlock is cake, just remember to self heal before talking to him each time. This is not the fight people are complaining about. The second encounter with Draagh on Corelia is the one people want to kick puppies over. Pro Tips: You cant interrupt him, slow him down, etc. stay out of his AoE he puts on the floor, and kite him. using a DPS pet like Vette if you are immortal specced makes this easy. Marauders probably need to use the backstabber. baras is a cakewalk compared to draagh, especially for immortals who like to stun lock since baras is not immune to them like Draagh. Just interrupt Voice of the Emporer, it hurts...bad.
  21. No, tracer missle spam is all you need to win in any situation. There is nothing more frustrating than 2 or 3 commandos/merc spamming it, and nothing else and wiping the floor with just about anyone, geared or not. the armor debuff, the insane amount of damage it does for such a quick cast time is ridiculous. Go in to any warzone pre-50 and all you see is BH/Commandos spamming tracer missle. At lvl 50 you get a better mix, but the merc are still spamming tracer missle...because thats all they need to do.
  22. I cannot wait for macro support. Freeing up some binds from the situational skills will be a god send. as for the people who dont like macros, dont use them.
  23. All I hear is Waaaaaaaaaaaah I want EZMODEZ!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah....If you like the story that much, delete your character and reroll an Immortal Jugg. If you keep Vette geared you wont need to use Quinn until 1 or 2 quests on Voss/Corellia. If you are still rolling with the Sniper buddy, you wont need him then either. Same story, you dont die if you play smart, like you claim you do, and you are a god in huttball.
