  3. I refuse to pay for something that is required to fix the game. I already pay to play it. They can bloody well do server transfers and mergers for free, especially if its going to be the deciding factor in whether or not I renew my sub.
  4. I cancelled my sub last night. It's still active till June due to the free month, but there you go. D3 will kill quite a few servers.
  5. The one issue with your post is that you cannot be AFK kicked while defending a node that you currently own. The AFK system only boots people who are: A. Not defending a node which your team currently owns (i.e. any distance from the node which still yields defensive points for being there). B. Not engaged in combat. If the OP was defending his teams node, the system would not have been able to kick him. Therefore he wasn't in combat and wasn't standing in the proper place for defending a node. I have a hunch that he was standing behind the turrets in Civil War. You know, a solid 50+ meters away from the node itself. On top of it, he's probably sitting there, thinking "ooo i'm so smart, nobody will find me here". Then he gets sap capped, the team gives him ****, and votes him AFK.
  6. It would take me a few minutes, but they would die. Every single time. There isn't a healer alive that can kill an Annihilation Marauder 1v1, even with their companion out. I'd love to see a 1v1 bracket be released, but then Bioware would do the same thing that WoW did when they released their arena system...they would attempt to balance around it. Massive mistake.
  7. Gotta love the 'you are doing it wrong' attitude in this thread. OP, you have a valid concern and sadly you are a victim of BioWare's 'awesome PVP since 1.2. I play as a Annihilation Marauder 1360+ expertise and when I get ganked by 5 assassins, all mashing force lightning of course, I see 3k hits on me. Seeing them do synchronized lightning hands with that move makes me laugh at BioWare for turning PVP into a one button mash contest. Do I die because of those 5? No doubt, healers are extinct and there is only so much my warzone medpac+cloak+saber ward+undying rage can do. 1 v 1 or 1 v 2 I eat them for breakfast. I even beat 3 assassins in one wz. I love their 3 defensive shields, DOT wipe and perma re-stealth. They don't know that I save my stun, mez and camo for their defensive shields, then eat them alive when they have nothing running.
  8. Juggs 4pc set bonus dwarfs ours, it's not even a contest. Imagine a 10% damage increase to Ravage almost every time you use it. Vengeance Juggs absolutely love their set bonus. They charge in, charge procs their CC immunity for 4 seconds, their 4pc procs +10% damage, and then they hammer Ravage. I'd kill to trade 4 piece bonuses with them. You're also mistaken. Our 4 piece set bonus increases the range of Vicious Throw (our execute), not Deadly Throw (healing reduction and root for Carnage).
  9. When your bleeds crit normally, they heal you for 2%. When your bleeds crit through Berserk being active, they heal your party. Just get the raid leader to switch you to your own group. Home free.
  10. I dropped my set bonus to get full augmented gear, but definitely noticed the loss of our 4pc. I didn't think that i'd find as many situations that I would have killed someone with that extra 5 meters, but I did. I've since gotten my 4pc back with the WH gear and it's nice to have it back.
  11. Force Scream for Carnage is a single target DPS loss? You're wrong. Parse your data better.
  12. Uh huh. Assault - physical Battering Assault - physical Ravage - physical Rupture - initial damage is physical. If the attack gets parried, the DOT is not applied. Deadly Saber - relies on physical damage for application. Does not get applied if attacks are parried. Deadly and Vicious Throw (Execute and Healing debuff) - physical Vicious Slash - physical Charge (root and damage) - physical Annihilate - physical I'm glad that Assault is the only good thing that relies on our Physical Accuracy rating. >.> <.< Sorcs/Sages have 10% base defense rating. If you are sitting at 95% physical accuracy, have fun missing them 15% of the time. I've picked up Narrowed Hated and i'm most likely going to be using a few pieces of Accuracy gear. Maintaining 100%+ Accuracy is vital for any kind of serious (rated) PVP.
  13. First off, Surge Mods don't exist, just Enhancements and Augments. Mods only come available with either Power or Crit. They raised the Surge hard cap to 80% in 1.2, but I believe you are correct that it starts soft capping at around 74%. I'm currently running 430 Surge rating and am sitting at 79.2%. If you are running strictly Rage, you'd probably want to use mainly Power/Surge Enhancements. The main question is whether or not you'd want to use 200 Stat points for either 8% Surge or **% Accuracy. Going from 200 to 400 Surge rating is only 8% crit modifier. So you'd either want to run full Power/Surge, or once you reach the desired Surge rating, switch to Accuracy/Power or Accuracy/Crit. Power/Crit Enhancements don't exist, so they aren't an option. It's up to you.
  14. Yea, being able to prevent half the warzone from charging you is a severe limitation. >.> <.<
