Leaving. Not because it is a bad game. In fact, I enjoy the storyline of my characters, and I really enjoy the voice acting. However, the game is performing a lot worse then expected on my rig. PvP is outright horrible at 15-20 FPS, and stuttering kills the exploration/leveling process. There is no difference in performance between high and low settings, indicating a game engine flaw. I might be back once its fixed, assuming I haven't been hooked on TERA or GW2. No hard feelings, its just that the product I paid for did not reach my expectations.

Check your ram useage. SWTOR is having huge memory leaks on my system, eating 3k MB ram if I usetextures above low setting. Before, I used to get the same symptoms as you, some textures were scaled down while other were smooth. Now I just get plenty of stuttering as the game loads new textures of the HD
