  1. In the past whenever you asked for our feedback and the threads got hundreds of pages long, exactly 0 % of that feedback got taken into account. Sometimes we even got mocked by the devs in return, when they were trying to explain to the most invested players how to play their class. I hope you understand why I can't be arsed to put much effort into this. There's one suggestion I wanna make, maybe something comes out of it, even though I doubt it. Watchman/Annihilation used to have a vastly different playstyle, especially in PvP. With 3.0 you stripped it of its identity and it got changed to a generic DoT class that feels like all the others. It used to be about short and hard hitting DoTs with a CD combined with a strong self heal and decent burst. Bring that playstyle back. The self-heal should be based on a percentage of our health again; Cauterize should have a CD again, have a shorter duration and hit harder; the DoT spread on Smash should be removed; Force Rend/Melt should be removed and the damage shifted into the remaining DoTs. I'm sure you can figure out a way to accomplish this, if you are willing; be it through class changes, Set Bonuses, Tactical Items or a combination of all this.
  2. I feel the same. There's SO much to do in terms of bugfixing and the new expac will probably add a ton more. I can't imagine them ever fixing older bugs. I have to say, though, that desyncs in PvP have gotten a lot better for me personally, which was a very longstanding and horrible issue. Keith is doing a decent job. So there might be hope. But then again, my hopes have been disappointed countless times with this game, so I'm not expecting anything.
  3. The problem is not Huttball. It's the queue as a whole. The same kind of endless streak happens with every WZ. I just entered my 6th Hypergate today, the 4th in a row. Ten games so far. Just because you don't like Huttball, it doesn't pop more often than the others. But it can indeed pop four times in a row, like all the other WZs can.
  4. No, I always queue at peak times on Darth Malgus. Even if I didn't, this wouldn't make any difference as long as there are enough people in queue to not get an arena instead, since all WZs are cross-faction and require the same amount of players. This has pretty much been my experience. Huttball does not pop more often than any other WZ. It's just that the same WZ is popping again and again, sometimes up to four times in a row. I remember that this problem has been brought to their attention in the first year after launch, because it was actually a bug they patched into the game when they made some other changes to WZ queues. I can't recall when exactly it was patched in. Yet, even after a supposedly thorough investigation they were not able to verify it, so they chose to ignore it. It will never get fixed, like all the other bugs in this game.
  5. PvP and PvE gear should be seperate types of gear and PvP gear should be aquired exactly like it used to be: only through PvP by playing warzones/arenas and earning a PvP currency that can then be spent at vendors for the pieces we want. And while you're at it, please bring back the mod/enhancement vendors, so we can customize our gear. If you don't want PvP-specific gear to exist, then I suggest a different approach: There should be two tiers of gear that can be acquired through PvP and PvE. Through PvP this gear should be aquired like it used to be. Through PvE this gear should be acquired by playing lower and medium difficulty operations. There should be a third tier of gear that can only be acquired through the highest difficulty operations. If someone with that third tier of gear enters PvP it should get downscaled to the itemlevel of the second tier, so that PvE-only gear doesn't affect PvP.
  6. This is a lie. I wish it were like that for me.
  7. SWTOR's version of the Hero Engine was heavily modified by the dev team during developement. Afaik updates to the "stock" Hero Engine engine can't be incorporated into SWTOR without a significant effort, that is to say time and resources. Most devs who knew how to handle SWTOR's "special" version of this engine have likely long left Bioware. Which is the reason why there are thousands of bugs in this game that will never get fixed. And hundreds of bugs that did get fixed multiple times already, but constantly get patched back into the game. Of course this is only speculation on my end, but since Bioware will never communicate beyond "ermagerd the future of this game is looking soooo bright, dun worry guyz", we will never know.
  8. For fk's sake, why do you force people to leave their match every time they realize their boost is about to run out? Please fix this. I'm sure you can do it without breaking ten other things in the process for once, I believe in you! <3
  9. This. I'd rather you spend the time and money on improving and fixing the lag and horrible desyncs that occur on all maps (WZs too) but especially the newer ones. There is more than enough work to do.
  10. Pretty much. There's no penalty for hacking in SWTOR.
  11. The same guy has been hacking for about a month in WZs on DM. He grabs the Huttball before the game starts and ccs people in the enemy spawn from below the ground. He caps mid on Civil War/Yavin/Novare before the game starts. He's been reported multiple times. There's even videos of it on YT. You don't give a **** Bioware, you're desperately trying to show us time and again. It's literally impossible to not instantly recognize this guy is cheating, yet you don't care. At least stop PRETENDING. Stop telling us to report cheaters. Stop telling us we should send you reports via forum message. We should all start to advertise hacks on the forums since that's obviously what you want. There's no consequences for hacking in this game. That's a FACT.
  12. I agree, this does look like a dsync issue. This is one if the biggest problems with SWTOR PvP since its release and will never be fixed, because they don't care.
  13. I think the damage should be nerfed by 99%. Also, remove all their def CDs and take away one of their lightsabers. Having two lightsbers is op anyway.
  14. I think 400% would be more appropriate.
  15. The leaderboards have been bugged way too often for way too long, this happens basically every season. You need to think about changing them, they‘re obviously inherently flawed. In addition to constantly not updating properly, they also bug out when someone changes their name or transfers servers, leading to duplicates, a rating that‘s not updating, or the player disappearing from the boards altogether. Please learn from your mistakes and fix this! I suggest you greatly reduce the data overload to begin with. Wipe the leaderboards after this season and stop tracking past seasons from that point on. People have their rewards to show and nobody cares about what rating someone had in season 2. Track only the top 50 or maybe top 100 of each class in team and solo ranked. Nobody cares about low rated players being on the leaderboard, and if they do it‘s probably to shame them for being low rated anyway. If you can‘t fix the underlying code or whatever is causing these problems for many years now, this is probably the easiest bandaid solution. Just effin do something.
  16. I 100% agree. This should be implemented for all Warzones and Solo Ranked as soon as possible.
  17. What the hell? Alright then, what GPU are you running? I'm certain it's not a driver problem, since I remember this bug popping up after a SWTOR patch, not a driver update, and there's been two years of new drivers since then. This also seems to be the only lamp where this is happening, I tried some of the others, just to be sure. The Temple Light is also a bit dim, but I'm not quite sure if it's supposed to be that way. Edit: The bugged shadow instantly disappears when I switch to a lower shadow quality in the graphics options.
  18. I just checked this game out again and this is STILL bugged - way over two years now. Maybe I should've mentioned it's a CARTEL MARKET item. That make it worth looking at for you? Oh wait, I did mention that, it seems you are just unable to fix even the smallest thing in over two years. And don't you dare tell me this is working as intended. It's clearly not, because I've seen it before the bug, when it actually did light up a room.
  19. Because Bioware Austin has never, in the history of this game, openly admitted to a design mistake. NEVER. Contrary to dev teams who actually care about their community, like Riot or Blizzard, who constantly tackle their problems head-on and actually try to fix them.
  20. You can /who all the player ships, warzones, arenas, GSF maps, OPs, and planets and then add it all up. Then multiply it by two to take the other faction into account. It won't be perfect (you'll be missing some story-specific locations, FPs, etc.), but it won't be too far off either. Even if it would be twice or even three times as much as OP stated, it would still be pathetic for an entire server. Hell, even 10 times as much would be awful when you consider you have 500 players on the fleets alone, on a healthy server.
  21. I'm still hoping they'll eventually see this, now that they seem to be back from the holidays.
  22. But there are no dead servers. Haven't you heard what they said on stream? There's a big influx of new players! This is also the reason why there's a whopping 9 players on the Republic Fleet on TOFN right now.
  23. That was my point. 90% of the servers are dead, very few are still healthy. In Europe, TRE and T3-M4 are the only really healthy servers. My server TOFN is completely dead and it was considered one of the healthiest EU servers about 2 years ago. Most EU servers are literally ghost towns with credit sellers being the only people writing in fleet chat sometimes. I've heard it's similar in US (e.g. PoT5), albeit not that bad.
  24. But there are no dead servers. Haven't you heard it on Bioware's stream? There's currently a big influx of new players, that's why servers don't need to be merged!
  25. I love when people respond like this when someone criticises the game My sub runs out in 16 days. I criticise the dev team, because I used to love the game and I hope it will change for the better and I can come back in a year. Even if they don't admit to their mistakes, they can't ignore the fact that most servers are ghost towns. Maybe you should leave the forums if you can't take someone criticising Bioware? Do you want to deny the fact that most of the servers are dead and that there must be a reason for it? I don't see you bringing any argument against what I said.
