My guess would be because the field tech gear is mainly there to offer an alternative set bonus to the other two sets. The belts and bracers don't contribute to the set bonuses so there isn''t a need for them.

How are you finding the energy usage of lethality? When I was lethality before the 1.2 patch I found that my energy ran out very quickly in pvp and it was hard to keep dps going at a decent rate in pvp because of the energy consumption. I would just have to stand there firing rifle shot so that i didn't drop a to a slower level of energy regen and wait for my energy to return to almost full before throwing dots on the target...Has this changed?

k my stats are.... 1548 cunning 273 power 37.2% crit chance crit multiplyer is 57.68 hope that helps

Hi everyone! I am in need of some advice if you don't mind. I really would like to know where I am going wrong. I play as the only sniper in my guild atm and I find that I am the lowest dps by far of all the dps classes. Gear i have rakata head, chest, legs, gloves, belt, and bracers. I also have columi boots. 2x centurion implants 1x champion ear piece champion enforcers sniper rifle and the tier 2 cloked eliminator knife. so not too bad for PVE My build is 31/7/3 and my rotation follows *cover *laze target, shatter shot, Snipe, FT, Ambush, FT Series of Shots, Eng probe, Snipe, FT, Orbital strike. i use the prototype hyper battle skill stim that persists through death. I find my self unable to keep up with any of the other DPS in my raid. some dont even have any tier 3 or perhaps 1 piece max. They are sorcs and bh's. * In the fight before SOA on EV I am always the last one to finish by quite a long way... I keep my enegy levels up but im always firing...so not sure what i am doing wrong. I just find it all a bit embarresing from a class that is purely a dps class. can anyone give me any pointers on what I could be doing differently? I am thinking of doing the mm / Eng spec

What is the best PVE spec?
