Ok I am in need of a new computer but I’m not sure if I should get a desktop or a laptop. I need opinions of those who know what to get. Here’s the situation about space. I don’t have a whole lot of room for a full tower in my new place. I can definitely fit it in but it won’t have adequate airflow. Mid tower would most likely be better in terms of space and air. I do realize there is liquid cooling now but even that needs some measure of air flow to cool the liquid and possibly the motherboard. Should I invest in a laptop? I know there are trade offs between a desktop and a laptop. The desktop is generally more powerful and can handle more than the laptop computers but with laptop computers you gain mobility. They are smaller and they can be taken on the go. You don’t need to buy a monitor for a laptop. The thing is I have been out of touch with technology for the past couple years. I’ve found out that laptops can now have 2-way SLI/Crossfire modes with multiple video cards. Are laptops still laughed at in terms of gaming? Not sure if that’s a real good price but it comes with a 4 year warranty. XP Boosts with PVP matches. Thats how I did it on my Commando and Jugger. I've always finished the character story well before level 50. And then the occasional dailies so I don't get burned out on huttball.

What is your budget? Personally I'm saving up for either an Origins Laptop or a Digitalstorm laptop with SLI. Look into originpc or digitalstormonline and see their selection. Also don't cheap out on the cpu.

Ok so I've had my 2004 Pontiac Sunfire for 6 years. I put on 60k miles on it and it smells like pepperoni pizza. Works great and I got a guy interested in it for a decent price. Despite my love for the car I am so very tired of it. I really need a new car or vehicle. I've been researching new vehicles for about 6 month now on my own and I have formed some needed guidelines that benefit my lifestyle. Needs to be 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive to accomadate the Lake Effect winters where I live. I do not and cannot own a garage due to property size. Needs to be good against road salt corrosion and rust. Needs to get decent gas milage as the price is skyrocketing higher again. I'm thinking 20+ both ways but could settle for slightly less. I don't travel much. Needs to be high enough off the ground as well because my road does not get plowed by the city. We have a guy that plows for us but he is often unreliable. I do not want a Toyota or a Honda. My entire family has nothing but Toyotas and Hondas and I'm just sick of the vehicles. I know they are very reliable I just don't want one. I have a decent budget. I've been looking into those new Ford F-150s with the lightweight aluminum body however I am told by my insurance company that my rate will soar with that truck because aluminum parts and repair is extremely expensive. I've also been looking at those new GMC and Chevy trucks. The GMC Canyon and the Chevy Colorado. I need more information about those trucks but thats about a right size truck for me if I am to get one. I'm told by everyone that anything built by Chrysler is poorly engineered and that I need to stay away from Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler products. What do you people think? Let me know

Prove it. Links please. I would like to see where BioWare stated free roam pvp is coming. I was told that the Revolutionary Secret Space Project was cancelled by Jeff Hickman. I was told that guild capital ships were cancelled by BioWare before Jeff Hickman came onto the project. See my point? Just prove it.

We don't even know if it's going to be in the game. Again if it's not gonna be in the game then BioWare should address it on the forums by stating, "This content will not be in the game." or "This content has been cancelled." I'm talking about information more than actually getting the content at this point. Should I kill my hopes for a good star wars game? 1313 was cancelled. Battlefront games were cancelled a long time ago. Even George Lucas admitted to his mistakes in cutting the production time in KOTOR 2. All these game developers and people have told us out right what type of content is coming or if its not. BioWare hasn't. Also after rereading your posts I'm starting to wonder if you are actually getting my point.

They already established the content they planned. Way past that. We are now in 2.0 with no information about content the players wanted.

I'm angry that even 2 years before beta was announced there were people on here asking and demanding a good product with good content and we don't even get to know if that content is still in the works, definitely cancelled or they just can't make it happen.

I never said immediately. Just high priority or some evidence that it will or will not be in game. Yes I want those thing now but I do understand they take time. I do not believe this digital expansion was created/worked on while swtor was being developed for launch. BioWare had time to do those things or at least address those things on here with their opinions even if they don't give release dates or detailed information of the content.

Normally I would agree with you but the way people were demanding free roam space flight and other alien species to play as during the couple years prior to the development of the game we should have seen something by now.

Digital expansion? Maybe. Patch? No.

So I take it we are not getting the following: Other alien species to play as. Example: Kel Dor, Aqualish, Bothans, Chagrians, Voss (failed mystics were trained as jedi according to the Voss world story on republic side), Devaronians, etc. Free roam space flight pvp. Guild ships that were hinted at, but not officially confirmed, before the game went F2P. Warzones that are not about territory gain/loss. Huttball is a nice break from Denova, Alderaan Civil War, Voidstar and the Pylons warzones but I wish there were more of a variety. The ball in Huttball to be a bomb with a 15-20 second timer. You pass it to a team mate or it gets intercepted and the timer restarts. There could be small "Time Boost Power Ups" that gives the bomb a few extra seconds at a time. Makes it a little more challenging.

I'm going to take a completely uneducated guess here and say that we will most probably not get the following: Free roam space flight Guild ships A paid character transfer service. (I have a lvl 50 character on Shadowlands that I need moved to Jedi Covenant. Don't want to delete because he has a large sum of credits) Free roam Guild vs Guild space pvp with guild ships. A game that is only offline to do maintenance 1 night a week. (time pending where you live) Optimization of the Hero Engine. Be considered a successful MMORPG by all or most of the community. Massive expansions that can be bought in a store. (example: World of Warcraft expansions) Is this game worth it? Should George Lucas just give up on Star Wars MMORPGs?
