  1. You can add suppressive tools to that category as well. It now only reduces the target's movement speed by 30%, down from 50%.
  2. Alderaan doesn't have percentage scores nor is it possible to have a score difference that isn't a multiple of 5. You must be cofusing (Alderaan) Civil War with Novare Coast.
  3. No, this is not accurate. The three abilities I mentioned restore health and have restored your secondary resource in the past until they were broken around 2.0. They are direct replacements for your out of combat regeneration. This bug has affected other out of combat regeneration abilities with the Trooper/BH and Agent/Smuggler classes in the past as well. See: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=667803 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=712610&highlight=focusing+ritual http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=626189&highlight=focusing+ritual http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=733685&highlight=shadowbox
  4. The species specific social abilities have not been functioning correctly for some time. Unlike other out of combat regenerating abilities the following 3 do not restore your character's secondary resource as they had been originally intended to. 5. STOP, STOP! This thing of adding credibility to your argument by citing information and providing quotes is absurd and unfair!
  6. Wrong, Heat Blast/Energy Blast is also still off of the GCD. I'm not sure this design philosophy even exists, it appears to me like players are inferring information from a couple of examples to create a concept for which they want to be a design principle so they can justify a change to another ability. Here is some cited reasons on why they actually changed a couple of the aforementioned abilities in this thread. source: http://www.swtor.com/blog/game-update-3.0-class-changes-sentinel-marauder source: http://www.swtor.com/blog/game-update-3.0-class-changes-guardian-juggernaut So both their actions and words suggest against this concept of flat out removing non GCD respecting based abilities existing. There is and was no change as has been suggested. Indeed.
  7. Baron Deathmark doesn't even wear a helmet.
  8. This thread is about solo ranked (see the title). Energy rebounder is almost always a nonfactor in solo ranked (since the large majority are 4v4 dps matches). I will quote someone's post from the PT forums to explain the reality of Pyro vs AP in solo ranked.
  9. They could also reimplement the idea of your CC breaker resetting on death. With ranked matches only being Last Man Standing arena game types, this change would have no effect on them.
  10. This is the blog you're looking for, http://www.swtor.com/blog/developer-update-warzone-arenas. Bottom of the page says:
  11. Here's the description of how redirected guard damage should function on the CC'd user (from the 2.0 patch notes):

  16. You're on Ilum, the bolster there does not reflect the same results as in a warzone. Also lose the purple Microfilament implants and earpiece, they need to be the blue version. You also can go ahead and throw the max +41 power crystals in your mh + oh.
  17. Realist view: Bioware doesn't listen to petitions or any other way you want to phrase player feedback their decisions are,
  18. Did it for you. Obroan: http://imgur.com/raeJBtC Experimental Purple 54: http://imgur.com/YL9LCvQ Microfilament Blue 53: http://imgur.com/XrKQLRF Like I mentioned in my original post the secondary stats may not match heres an idea of what you'd get with secondary stats by adding an Obroan implant w/ accuracy compared to this blue Microfilament. Obroan with accuracy for better comparison: http://imgur.com/3fc52J8 Thus microfilaments are BIS as long as the secondary stat is useful for you.
  19. Grab a blue microfilament and compare the stat difference.
  20. Microfilaments (blue) bolster even better.
  21. Tait, Sorry I have no been able to contribute, the login service has been down the past couple of days. But I have some data of my own which might be of some use to the combat team as well. In addition to blue level 45 mods, the Microfilament implants and earpieces are also bolstering better than Obroan. 45s Offhand http://imgur.com/zvxCrLj on a tech attack http://imgur.com/jl9DiIu 2792 Endurance 1480 Bonus Damage 22.84% critical 75.13% surge 69, 63, 61 Offhand http://imgur.com/KXjTCLg on a tech attack tooltip http://imgur.com/drEP9Ki 2697 Endurance 1475 Bonus Damage 22.21% critical 75.26% surge Obroan http://imgur.com/8XWpmpt on a tech attack tooltip http://imgur.com/tp8nZuc 2722 Endurance 1465.6 Bonus Damage 22.19% critical 75.43% surge This results in the 45s modded offhand leading in endurance, bonus damage, and critical over both the 69/63/61 combo and the Obroan offhand. Implants Note: There is no Aim variant of the microfilament with power and surge as the secondary stats. Therefore I left out the surge and accuracy values as it is not a fair comparison between two unlike stats. However, I was simply looking for the bonus damage comparison. You can be assured that a power and surge variant of the microfilament will bolster better than Obroan (Warriors/Knights and Smugglers/Agents both have main stat variants with power and surge as the secondary stats). Microfilament http://imgur.com/DoZWFcb 2625 Endurance 897.2 Bonus Damage 18.99% crit Obroan http://imgur.com/v9kx5fG 2622 Endurance 895.3 Bonus Damage 18.93% crit So the Microfilament gains 3 endurance, 1.9 bonus damage, and 0.06% critical. That is a pure gain, no sacrifice of any kind just by buying a blue off the GTN. The Microfilament earpiece versus the Obroan one mimics this behavior albeit with different values.
  22. Look beyond the character sheet, specifically hover over the tooltips of a weapon damage attack (master strike in your case) and compare the two setups then.
  23. Those are my screenshots. Regarding the purple 46s, they bolster worse than the blues. Regarding my testing, I've done plenty of warzones with both but due to the constant variables in warzones I couldn't determine a trend. Therefore I created an experiment with some controls, I sat with someone in a warzone and arranged to test it (max expertise target, no proccing power relics, and multiple tests with the two different weapons). You hit significantly less using the blue 45 mods in all slots of the MH on weapon damage attacks than compared to the 69,63,61. Despite the character sheet and ability tooltips displaying the 45s mods in all slots to be the best for MH weapon it does not appear this way after my testing.
  24. It seems I am getting significantly less weapon damage done in a bolstered environment using the blue 45s setup than compared to the 69,63,61 despite the character sheet and ability tooltips all pointing to a higher bolstered weapon bonus damage. If anyone else has tried this please feel free to share.
