So this may stir up a hornets nest, but just about anything will these days. So, Dissociated here (Mort for those who may still be around). I've been PVPing in SWTOR since the beginning. Was super heavy into meta guild PVP for while, then just fell off the radar due to multiple reasons. In the interim, I've been in and out, hitting up solos or farming heroics/starfighter. Now, have a full set of 326 Thyrsian gear, and am pretty comfortable as a Sorc Heals. One thing that hasn't changed is that it pays to be in a pre-made, especially now that only wins count toward the weekly. That, and I miss the camaraderie of group PVP on comms. Anyway, I'm looking for a group of people who don't take themselves too seriously and like to enjoy conversation. Undoubtedly some will respond negatively to this post with the usual: LTP, make your own group, etc, and that's OK. However, if you're in need of a decent healer who has played more PVP over the years than I care to admit, then feel free to respond. I'd love to meet some new people and recapture the excitement that I've lost over the years. w

Thanx for the FYI Nads, but this is par for the course, and until its fixed, Its working as intended. The sheer number of Derp moments from these guys is staggering. I really enjoy this game, but in order to do so, I will continue to take advantage of their F' ups. Ive been playing since before launch, and Ive taken the high road. We have had these convo's more times than anyone cares to admit. All it did was raise my blood pressure and cause a few rage quits.

I dont know what the official Pax policy is, but as far as im concerned the Relic is "working as intended". Therefore I intend to continue using it until its changed. I see it like this. There is absolutely no reason to handicap myself in the interest of your feelings. If you wanna take the high road, go for it. More power to you. I however have such limited time and energy these days. RL is really taking its toll, family, work load, etc etc. I refuse to be frustrated by Biowares fails simply just to say "Im a man of principle". Lets face it, this is a video game. I will do everything within the TOS to have a good time. Frankly, using a relic that is purchasable for 600 Reg WZ coms, and equipped directly to my inventory, hardly constitutes cheating or exploiting. If you have a problem with that, then write a nasty"gram to bioware. Or just continue talking trash in /say and sending tells. I will continue to /hug or /kiss you. The idea that PVP TEH has come it a grinding halt is an overstatement. True the LCD on the avg PUG has dropped a bit, but Im guilty of that on my Sin too. I do agree that the bad is now terribad, so in a sense, Its rock bottom. At least I hope it cant get much worse. However, I do believe that its on the way back up as I continue to see more fresh faces and some familiar ones as well. Last night Reg Que was popping in consistent interval. We even had 2 ranked Pops almost immediately after que.

Well we have the exact opposite problem. Im here on EH and **** is just about over by the time I log in. Good thing PVP is vibrant and diverse. Otherwise Id be screwed into being an alt'o'holic. Queue times are about 5 to 10 mins. Its a small but tight community. We have all been at each others throat, or brothers in arms at one point or another. Guilds are consolidating and new one are popping up. Pax, Silent Council, Army of Light, Republic.... etc.. etc.. Check out the enjin forums or the guild recruitment threads via the link at the top of the forum page.

The first week after launch I was exclusively doing PVE content. I was a DPS sorc, (madness). I was running Black Talon HM for the first time and kept getting killed by the final boss. I was back peddling every time she pulled the group in and caused the group to wipe about 6 times before I finally quit the game. Still had no clue why I couldn't get out of that *****es range in time. You think I would have learned my lesson on back peddling right. NO.. lol Just as I joined Pax I was convinced to run some PVP. I went in with lvl 48 greens and a few grays. I know /facepalm.. Worse yet Every time a DPS picked me up I just backpeddled away trying to cast shock over and over. After the match Arash took me to duel. Painful.. but a learning experience to say the least.

I have Derp moments all the time. Just last night I was node guarding on my new sin and screwed my key binding up somehow. Thought I was stunning a guy capping our node, but was pushing a talent that was still on CD.. by the time I figured it out, we had all but lost the node and I was still in stealth.. Almost made me want to log on my main and re shelve her ***.

As a player who spent over a year as a Paxian, both as a member and an officer. As a player who took time out of the guild to See What the world of competitive PVP has to offer, I can say without a doubt, that Pax was and always will be my home. The level of skill in our players and degree of sportsmanship they conduct themselves with is almost unprecedented. This is an eclectic group, home to casual queuers, dedicated PVPrs and CareBears alike. What ever it is your looking for, I strongly urge you to at least log into our TeamSpeak and BS with us for a bit. Im certain you will find a comfortable atmosphere, where you are encouraged and supported without feeling pressured to preform. (Unless your on the Progression or Ranked team, Then you should know what your getting into. lol)

your reading comprehension is just fine. Maybe I didn't make it clear enough. I made this post as a way of explaining myself and asking for understanding. No one could have convinced me the transfer was not in my best interest, I had to experience it for myself. Perhaps my emotional IQ is a bit low for Pot5, but its high enough to know Id rather be out in the open about things then quietly slip in the back.
