its the typical mistake a lot of MMO companies make. Bioware just didn't think to look how things went for past companies so they did their own little screw up. Ahhh, MMO companies are like little children, they never learn. It would only be smart planning and a money saver for companies to come up with a contingency for this BEFORE launch. at launch there will always be queues. Op and I play on the same server and Its getting harder and harder to log in due to the fact that its becoming a chore to get people to even log in or find people that have a sub to come and do something. Its also the same 10-15 people you see in the Warzones every day. Same people doing raids every week, same everything.

Being patient is one thing. I enjoy the game but, every game company has the same problem (this includes Bioware). They never learn from those who came before them. They ALWAYS make the same mistakes because they think their version of a catastrophe is better than the other 5000 attempts. They always come up ending like this. it doesn't matter if it is your FIRST mmo or your 100th. Companies need to do their research before making and organizing content. If multiple companies come out saying "this idea was a complete and total screw up", think of something else. BW, didn't.

The group that i run it with doesn't move him at all. I, the tank (Vanguard) tank him in the cent while the rest of the group moves. The reason why people dont bring melee dps is due to the plasma arch. The fewer people in the middle fighting, the less chance there is for one of the orbs to spawn where the tank is keeping the boss distracted.

They never will exist but people arent really looking for a flawless or super original game. People just want devs to see that these cookie cutter theme park mmos are utter crap in the end. Doing the same thing over and over and over and over until you feel like sticking your blaster in your mouth really becomes unoriginal and exceedingly boring. heck, I went back to Fallen Earth. Its not anywhere close to flawless or original and its game play is iffy at times but there is always something different to do every time I log in. I don't stand on the fleet waiting for a queue to pop or a raid to partake in that ive done 5000 times before. while i firmly believe that PLAYERS can create their own content a large majority of majority of the time, these themepark mmos make sure that we don't. A lot of attempts are out there but all have failed due to no reward being given to those who show.

Pros: -Decent stories for classes -Datacron hunting was fun (for me) -Easy to play Cons: -Pvp at the moment is a little touch and go. If you are republic, get used to losing -End game is a little repetitive, but what MMO's is not? -You are probably playing on a Euro server. Servers there are a lot more full that my US servers (pro for you, con for me) if you have more specific questions id be happy to answer those. ps. I don't know about skype but a lot of guilds TS and Vent servers that I know on my server are open to whoever just wants to hang out and chat.

Look at the server list, everything is light. Standard for an hour or 2 if you are lucky. If the game isnt dying, The game NPCs are being counted as players.

There is a whole 10 on mine, but it normally picks up to 30ish in a few hrs. Still very depressing to see such low numbers. WTB server merge! i bet this game goes f2p in a few months.

Here is what you do! 1. Get orange gear and add mods to it. Dailies on Belsavis and ilium will give you the highest level (non raid / pvp gear) mods and enhancements you can get. Fill a suit up with those. Itll take a while 1a. (i did this route) If you dont want to do that, go armormech. After you hit 400, start an RE frenzy. RE armor pieces till you get the stat of your choice from green to blue, you want to RE to blue "redoubt" pieces. This adds defense. From that you want to RE to Purple pieces. Forgot the name but its adds shielding. A full suit of this will get you one ****** tank suit for starting Hard Mode Flashpoints / normal mode EV and KP. 1b. Keep pvping until you get tokens for a BM supercommando suit. 2. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801G0GrdoroGMZrkr0o.1 thats my tank spec. defense with some decent damage from stock strike spamming. other than that, do your dallies. awesome money, and you can get t3 rakata pieces, and t4 shielding relics. Which make you a brick wall.

Vanguard is just amazing! You can solo flashpoints, heroics, etc with your healing companion. And in pvp, people eventually give up trying to kill you when you have 23k hp & 52% dmg protection, 45% shield chance, and 70% absorb. yep, life as a brick wall is fun. You dont kill fast but its funny to watch people get mad. Some people in Warzones come straight for me and ignore everyone else. Its like they just have that urge to run head first into a brick wall. pvp effectiveness is what you make of it. I normally get top protection, top defense, etc. I normally have top medals due to protection and defense. PVP in this game is about taking and holding. Not killing. When you cant kill a brick wall, its hard to take a point or lay a bomb. Thats why i aim for highest personal hp and defenses.
