Not sure if you are trolling or what, but Rift fixed most of the annoying bugs/features within the first month of the launch. I love WoW and am looking forward to GW2, but in my book, Rift Devs win when it comes to hotfixes and quick updates.

Play Mass Effect 1 and 2(I personally am more toward 2).

You won't believe me, but I actually bought this game because it was being made by Bioware and it kinda killed my respect for them. This and then ME3 are being ******* on because of EA pretty much controlling every decision at Bioware.

I trust Tomshardware's judgment about the engine than I would from any of the fanboy here. Toms have a pretty good reputation to back their reviews and everything else, so my question is what do you have to back your statements? Your blind love for SW? That's what I thought.

I guess they heard about the april 10 pre-orders for GW2 and as a result, they are trying to polish it further and not **** up lol... but really we are at mid march and from what I know patch 1.2 is suppose to be here in march. Maybe at the end of the march? idk

Great post OP and oh boy..... the fanboys have got find a way to bash the game. WoW's lack of loading screens is enough to put swtor on its *** in comparison. nuff said.

You are joking right? So you are telling me that software doesn't evolve? Seriously? I am not whining about this 8 hrs downtime because I am at college all day long(5 days a week), but I am amazed at people bringing up WoW and EQ as an excuse to cover up for SWTOR. Compare WoW's client to the 'back in the day's' WoW client and you will see that it has, actually, evolved, but wait, that's impossible! Software can't evolve! :/ SWTOR might be new, but no one stopped them from taking notes from other successful MMOs and implement the things that actually worked for them. I am just saying because I have a feeling that Bioware has been working on this game in a cave for what? 5 years? And didn't notice other MMOs evolving.

Agree with your focus on the narrative, but all of that was shrouded by overly recycled environments and a small world. It's a game so they have to get everything right, not just the narrative.

.....and both it turned into a success. What's so bad about that? The fallout setting is not my fav, but I won't deny the fact that the game did pretty good and most of my friends on Steam still play it.

Do some looking up on valve before commenting. Do you know what kind of people they hire and how their whole work on games/projects go? I know about it, but I would like you to go ahead and do some Googling for yourself because you are apparently hating on the wrong guys here.

"We will not become another WoW"? Last time I checked WoW had a player base of 10 mill and you don't want to become that and be there? Before you go on with your generic "More than %50 players are from China farming for gold", go ahead and try that 7 day free game time and see how packed all the major cities(+zones) are in that game, and for the record, I haven't subbed to WoW in the past 8 months and that's mainly because I am tired of it(game is bad and being tired are TWO different things). You are pretending like you are a good player and don't need a flip chart to whack someone about with. I have a feeling it's the other way around, else you wouldn't be hating on combat logs

It's not hard to detect a bad player in 8/16 men operations. There are noob 'patterns' you will notice if you have played MMOs long enough. So don't assume that making logs personal will save you from getting booted or being stamped as a noob player. It's funny actually, usually the noobs/baddies complain about implementation of DPS meters because they know they will get caught. I personally, have no issue with DPS meters because I know I will be up there

You will get other class abilities, but you won't be able to use them in pvp or dungeons. You can only use them in the world with your companion out. So stop whining.

What makes Unreal better? Really? There are enough games out there to give you this answer, but I am guessing you really don't know about anything except hero engine and swtor. What makes any engine better? How it performs. That simple enough? You don't need technical details for what you just asked. The answers are out there if you have actually played games that use different engines, but again I am guessing you just know about swtor and hero engine, else you wouldn't be asking the questions you are asking right now. Technical details...... yea right. You are simply trying too hard........ to act smart.

You lost me at step 2. Charging 900k will result in more grinding and you don't want that in the market you are in today(WoW or Rift).
