  1. Easy has nothing to do with it. It's the time and the entertainment value people get from it. If you're talking about dailies, lol. Okay. There's a reason most people don't have more than a mil saved, if that much. Dailies aren't fun. Black Hole commendations are useless (due to no set bonus) aside from the off-pieces.
  2. It's not a matter of how much it costs to make. It's about the demand. The demand went down because everyone got the 2 or so augments they needed. With the release of 1.3 every single person who pvp's and raids at 50 now wants 10-12 more augments. That makes augments insanely valuable. The only thing holding the prices where they are is that there are so many people who are trying to meet that demand. Expect when this all resolves and people have the augments they need the market will crash into the ground because the augments never go away. Bioware fails at designing a viable economy. They put RNG cockblocks on getting materials and then every item is permanent.
  3. The price of moving mods needs to be in the 5k credit range at tops. Anything higher makes it cost prohibitive to experiment with gear (which is a fun activity that player like me enjoy doing, and this game needs more things for people to spend their time doing in game). For the slicer thing, the problem is that in order to make an augment, 4 Advanced Neural Augmentors are needed. With a 1 in 20 chance of getting ANA's from slicing component missions at ~1.8k a mission and the most ANA's that slicers can get from a slicing augment mission is 3 (though it's commonly 2), that means in order to make a single augment not counting any other components is ~72k and upwards of 30 hours worth of missions (40 individual missions total), spread out among however many slicers a particular player actually has divided by 3 for the 3 slicing missions in rank 6 of each mission skill. In the least, we're talking roughly 10 hours per slicer per augment going onto the market. Then add onto it that the number of augments people want right now far exceeds the demand. I still have not gotten enough components to make the augments I need on my main since 1.3 released (and I only need 12, not 14), and I have 3 maxed out slicers constantly running missions while I'm leveling up a 4th slicer.
  4. That's not an issue with group finder. That's an issue with people who don't want to play healers or tanks. It's also something Bioware can't fix.
  5. Loose = A bad way to describe your girlfriend Lose = Not win, or in this case, subscriber base shrinking And class balance is one of the reasons people leave, but not because overpowered classes get nerfed. Moreso because overpowered classes don't get nerfed.
  6. If Legacy was the following it would be worthwhile: * Legacy Bank - Shared between all characters of the Legacy, as with the guild bank, BoP items couldn't be placed in it, credits could be deposited in the Legacy Bank, we could repair from it like the Guild Bank. * Crew skills deposited gathering mission returns in the Legacy Bank. * Crafting skills consumed materials from the Legacy Bank, just like our normal bank. * The ability to access Crew Skills of all characters in the Legacy from any character in the Legacy, need something from the Slicer alt you have no problem, just send a few of his/her crew on Slicing missions instead of logging out, logging back in, sending companions on missions, log out, log back in on main, do whatever, times up log out, log back in on alt, get the mats, send them in the mail, log back out, log back in on main, retrieve mats from mail. That's a feature I want.
  7. It's good to hear you're aware and looking at resolving issues people have with the LFG feature. I would suggest the following tweaks to the LFG feature. You listed the priority for the group finder as Story Mode, Tier 1, Tier 2. Please adjust this to be based on the rewards. It should be top down for what people queue for in difficulty. Story, Tier 2, Tier 1. Second, and this is my big one. I have no desire to pick up further Black Hole pieces so Black Hole commendations are worthless to me. I've gotten the ear, implants, and chest now (which was actually a dps downgrade but I wanted to change my looks). I need to keep 4 pieces of rakata to maintain my set bonus. Many of the Black Hole mercenary pieces are actually dps downgrades because they have the tank armorings in them. With the implementation of LFG give me a reason to want Black Hole commendations. Otherwise I have no reason to participate in LFG. Possible suggestions to address this concern: Give us more things to buy with Black Hole Commendations. In particular, let us buy 61 armorings, mods, and enhancements in a variety of types so we can customize our gear the way we want. This gives us something to spend our commendations on that makes doing Flashpoints or Operations that we don't need gear from worthwhile. Another possibility is allow us to buy 61 armorings of Black Hole quality that actually have set bonuses on them. The fact that the older sets weren't updated to the new set bonus model is a huge source of frustration for me. I get that the tech required new items and it couldn't be easily done. But adding new options could easily resolve that.
  8. Nah. It doesn't = sitting in queue for an hour. It = why bother running it because the rewards are bad. I mean really. 5 Black Hole Commendations? I can't progress my main character at all by running any LFG flashpoints. My alts I can run nightmare mode KP and EV with my guild and get Rakata, even as a fresh 50 without having to deal with several random people that I don't know that may or may not be completely incompetent. They could also be awesome people. But I'd just rather not deal with the hassle and skip straight to Rakata.
  9. Lol, yeah I get what you're saying. "Congrats have an achievement! You didn't suffocate while watching this video because you know how to breath!" I wouldn't say leveling one of each class on each side to 50 takes effort, but it definitely takes time. And the ability to not slit ones wrists at the prospect of having to go through every planet in the game 4 times over for each side because there is 0 quest content alternatives.
  10. That's because the icons aren't correct. If you mouseover the icon the tooltip should state what they actually queued as. It's correctly matching people up, it's just the icons are bugged.
  11. I was going to be a ******** and ask him if I just didn't notice achievements in Super Mario Brothers, Pac Man, Legend of Zelda, or Dragon Warrior, but then I realized after thinking about it that WoW donned the Achievement for Everything! motta a few years back. MMO's didn't have them prior to that that I can recall. Hell WoW doesn't even have an achievement for having every class at max level unless it's a recent addition. I had every class at the level cap in Northrend.
  12. Not really. Honestly I don't find anything in the patch alluring. LFG is a nice addition, but I have absolutely no reason to run it other than to just kill time. I don't care about the commendation rewards. Black Hole is practically useless to me without a set bonus, and I won't buy it just to pull all the mods out and move them to rakata gear. Plus the armorings in my main's gear for Black Hole are all the wrong ones. They're the tank ones instead of the dps ones. I don't need flashpoint gear on any character. I mean I could get it for alts that don't have it, but it'd be just as easy to run my alts through guild story-nightmare of EV and KP. But class balance isn't being addressed. The merc changes are laughable. Marauders aren't getting toned down. I have no interest in having to switch to a character I don't enjoy playing just so I destroy the fodder classes. I have most of them at 50 or close, I'm just not interested in playing fotm classes. To be frank, since the release of D3 it's becoming harder and harder to login. Our numbers have dropped by half (in swtor) and when I'm on vent most people are playing other games, whether it's D3, ME3 MP, Guild Wars 2 Beta, etc. Most of the folks who took a short hiatus for D3 just haven't come back, even after they cut back their D3 playing.
  13. Lol, back in your days? What are you? 16 referring to your glory days of WoW 3 years ago when you were 13?
  14. I enjoyed it more than the common 5-10 second strung together clips of kill shots far from the objective which then ends as 3 people are closing on the poster, or the "hey I'm in full warhero watch me own 3 guys in recruit gear!" vids, or even the "look at me I'm playing the op fotm class steamrolling people who are playing classes that can't compete regardless of gear/skill because they picked classes that are terrible now!" videos. Absolutely no one has perfect gameplay. I tire of the fake collages that don't accurately represent gameplay. It's not hard to collect enough gameplay footage that he could string together which have no errors at all in them. I'd rather watch something like this. Whether you care or believe his motivations really doesn't matter to me.
  15. Gold's first response was chock full of "constructive criticism" without a single shred of positive feedback. It wasn't rude, I agree. The second one was, and the op even thanked him for the feedback. Apparently Gold doesn't handle people stating they aren't concerned with 100% perfect play at all times and they take the game less seriously, which is a short summary of what the op stated. That was followed by several people jumping on the trash the op bandwagon, to which the op responded sharply. If you want to pretend he said he only wanted compliments that's your choice, but I won't argue it as that wasn't what was stated.
