  1. Just charge 5 or 10 million credits for it so it is extremely rare.
  2. For better or worse, 6 of 8 ACs has the ability to do this today, without any leveling experience. Talent trees evolved to provide more customization on a per class basis. Allowing AC changes would just be the next evolution of that. The biggest difference between ACs is playing a melee class versus a ranged class. I would suggest that people tend to enjoy playing what they are good at, so unless you're good at both, you won't switch repeatedly. At minimum, you should be able to switch your AC before you hit 50 because you may not even know you are better at melee than ranged or vice versa.
  3. I'm concerned as well. Are we going to have to wait until Jan 2015 for an expansion to level 60?!?!?
  4. I wouldn't want to PUG HM TFB with players that don't know the fights, but it's no problem if they do. Heroic quests and such should not be an issue for a PUG, so those would be a nice feature to add as well.
  5. Comms are nice, but I have wasted a lot of time on fleet because the following quests have been provided to me without a good way to build a group to complete them at level 55. [VEHICLE] Aratech Coral [VEHICLE] Aratech Nightscythe [WEEKLY] Classic Operations
  6. /signed The ability to leave group finder within the split second between "I'll go" and /invite is almost a mini-game. If it doesn't get fixed we should at least get some comms or something for succeeding
  7. Um, for fun? This is a game, right? I don't know the full details of how a system like this would work, but it could be tailored to avoid breaking immersion or exploits. Just suggesting something fun.
  8. If you max out Blizz's affection on an Alt, allow your Main Jedi Knight to run around with Blizz as a companion!
  9. Allow us to select exactly what we want for a warzone or arena match. I love huttball!!!, but rarely get to play even when I choose to queue. A sufficient random warzone/arena incentive can be used to ensure most people will queue for randoms, while allowing others to play a specific warzone/arena with little incentive.
  10. I find myself continuously waiting on Fleet for a group for EV HM or TFB HM or some other Operation/World Boss that I've completed multiple times, but is not available in Group Finder at level 55. I would suggest that if you've completed an Operation/World Boss once or X times before, you should be able to queue for it going forward, because you clearly know the fight(s). This could also make a nice Legacy feature by making these completed Operations/World Bosses available to your Alts in Group Finder.
  11. You are showing your ignorance here. End game players know which items are "Best In Slot" and will do flashpoints or operations repeatedly to obtain the item. This may not apply to you yet, but if you advance in your game play you will be thankful for these social conventions. The community would fall into anarchy if we all used your current logic. If you choose to play with the rest of us, you will be kicked and ignored until you conform or run out of people to group with. Just accept that there are things you do not understand yet. The wise man knows he knows nothing.
  12. Here's the difference between Subscription and F2P. Subscription based MMOs want to give you things like the Revan Mask as a 1/5000 drop from a boss to keep you playing for months to come while F2P just wants you to fork over the money for it NOW. They can co-exist, but I haven't seen an effort to do so yet.
  13. I want to get away from the grind by having some FUN! Doing a quest to get one of these items can hardly be considered a grind. I think most people liked the GAR, but it was a bit short and short sighted if they didn't think people would be upset by not having equal rewards across classes. Yet another example that Bioware doesn't know or doesn't care about our thoughts.
  14. The point here is that Bioware is failing subscribers. We WANT to earn these things in game! Not have to open our wallet or be given these items for free. We want something to do in game other than grind gear!
  15. I guess I haven't given up on Bioware completely, but I'm close due to the Cartel packs and now the Life Day failure. I will unsub, if it continues, and move on to another game.
  16. I will unsub if Bioware continues to shove everything into the Cartel Market without adding fluff items to be earned by game play. For me, fluff item drops/quests add a break from the monotony of the gear grind.
  17. I disagree and I would further suggest that you be allowed to stay in Group Finder while grouping with people in quest areas. Doing dailies would be so much easier for everyone if we could group up rather than fighting over nodes while sitting in the Group Finder queue.
  18. Very True. This month I'm paying for whatever service they are providing, and next month I will be paying for whatever service they will be providing, and so on and so forth. However, eventually that well will run dry if they are not meeting player demand. I do think they are trying and I expect SWTOR to be around for a long time.
  19. Ultimately, I think the business model they are going for sounds promising to me. Hopefully they have plans to fix world pvp.
  20. Sure, they can decide what to do with their revenue, but I decide if I contribute to that revenue next month based on if they've met my expectations this month. Semantics.
  21. OP is onto something. Many things point to this being rushed out and incomplete.
  22. Um... What? 1) Of course its a business which will change with supply and demand. 2) My sub pays for a constantly updating game. If those updates don't satisfy me I will unsub, (see #1) 3) I don't care about F2Pers winning. If they enjoy the game and want the best gear they can sub. (see #1)
  23. P2W to me would be a purchaseable competitive advantage for one person over another when it comes to group content (pvp/flashpoints/raiding). This hybrid model seems to want to encourage F2Pers to subscribe, but there is no incentive to subscribe if someone else is going to steal my raid slot or pwn me in pvp due to their wallet. I can't see them being dumb enough to go P2W in that form, but then again some think leveling boosts are P2W, so many of the truths we cling to depend on our point of view.
  24. I never played LoTRO, but I've read opinions that their F2P model hurt the subscribers because they focused mainly on fluff items rather than content. Do you think that's accurate and do you think the same could happen here?
  25. Right, I said "All but gone", meaning there are some, but the sub model as a whole has past it's prime and is on a down slide. I believe the user pool that is willing to pay a sub fee is dwindling due to the number of MMOs increasing, many of which are F2P. I think a lot of people enjoy playing a different MMO weekly or monthly, but I don't get that.
