  1. Ok I'll bite. What faction would you add?
  2. Because social armor in it's current state it useless to all but one class on each side? This at least makes it viable.
  3. The problem with this is, as an mmo it by nature calls to the "The game begins at <insert max level here>" crowd. The people who didn't enjoy the ride to 50, just space barred through everything and 3 days later cried there was nothing to do. While it does need to play up the story elements to people to dispel this notion, to be viable as a true alternative it still needs a hell of a lot more sandbox aspects than it currently has to really be pushed as this.
  4. It really doesn't. See CO/STO or any other game where it's tried. As bad as the sense of community is now, it's even worse on instanced content cause you never see the same people twice.
  5. I'd agree with that, also add that companions also need these options. It's no good my trooper finally getting a stable uniform suit of armor when my comps still look like they get their gear from a charity shop.
  6. No need for you to get so hurt over it. But if you want to be taken seriously elaborate on why going F2P would improve the experience for anybody involved, cause all I'm seeing is that it would hamper development and encourage buy to win. Might get a very short, temporary increase in revenue, but much more likely would be the final nail in the coffin.
  7. More content to encourage a community to grow. Multiplayer space missions - Realistically on rails space missions are here to stay, but you can still improve it. Make it so you have multiple people controlling ships, make their paths intersect enough so that you have to watch each others backs, ramp up the difficulty etc. Mini-Games: Pazaak, races, etc. Anything to encourage something beyond sitting motionless on the fleet surrounded by 17 others doing the same where no-one talks until someone comes on here to cry about a lack of community. Legacy Mission - Doesn't have to be a huge amount of work, recycle and existing map (Say the governers mansion on Corellia) for a legacy mission, played once a week with a toon of your choice (and only once per week for entire legacy) you take a single player mission with your other legacy members as NPCs (think that trooper mission where your given all but your current companion as elites). Reward an inheritance piece of gear. Simple recycling of stuff that's already there. Looks like a new additon.
  8. You mean the one where unless you had your thumb up your rear end you were +2 on and had a companion the quest wasn't designed for? Quick tip there slick, the start world Heroics are the only ones where 2 man literally means 2 man, not "two man plus comps, we'll keep the number of elites and champions down since we know our ai isn't good"
  9. Yeah, a small but stable pop of people who can play the game and have fun is a horrible audience, let's keep courting these guys who quit after a month because he can't get a team for anything because all but 9 of the 232 servers are on light all the damn time. They seriously need to roll the number of servers down to a quarter of it's current state. Voluntary transfers will help stabilise a few populations but unless BW are quick on the draw with folding the dead servers into more viable ones the game is dead.
  10. The easy way to do this, even with merges is take the approach SOE took with DCUO. In the event of a conflict priority went to the toon with the most play time. Only damn thing they ever did right with that game tbh.
  11. If you are truly that attached to your character name there's a good chance you've got something original enough to survive. It's the "Obi-one" & "Hans olos" that are gonna be pissed.
  12. You have no reason to group? How about all those heroics, flashpoints and PVP enviroments that you've missed or could only have done overlevelled?
