  1. 1) Spec full telekinetic for leveling. 2) Spec into tidal wave 3) start fights with Telekinetic Wave if level 34 or above 4) forcequake (keybind it so you can place it immediately on group) 5) fire off another Telekinetic wave when "tidal wave" proc, if not finish mobs off with rock throw or something. Its very force friendly and if you have decent gear, you can solo Heroic 2x pretty easily with CC and heal on Q... because you have the best force regen. Most time I finish fights with 80%hp, 80% force... if i put bubble on myself, i'm at 95% hp and 70% force (bubble stun enemy too remember in telekinetic tree) Balance is very 1v1 dmg... it takes longer and less efficient.
  2. Stop trying to argue if you don't even play a marauder. Damage doesn't break you out of force cameo... only a stealth scan immediately placed on you does. You still take dmg (from dot) and can be punted in stealth (sage aoe punt) The only time I lose to a jug is if a "geared" one charge me first, dmg and push me, charge me and finish me off... within a few seconds before giving me time to breath. Otherwise I can force cameo and reopen on my own term and I can usually out dps them between my potion, my defensive cooldown and 90% hit debuff to his ravage. FF on jug = slowish death. FF on marauder = force cameo, 30x stack, predation run to warzone hp potion and come back to kill them. The difference is only the push... you get push into huttball fire pit and lolz... that's about it. In terms of general performance in pvp? Marauder is so much better its not even funny.
  3. Conceal Operative is not a well conceived class design, there's almost no skills involved and few options. You require stealth to do most of your dmg, the tree is entirely designed around that one 31st ability to deliver your dmg and once you commit/open you have no other option except to kill or be killed. (restealth require you having both dodge and restealth abilities up... but if you are doing your job, dodge shouldn't be up anyway) I don't usually play stealth classes but I do like rolling alts so I did eventually get to play this class but the thing is, its most effective at assisting and kill one so you can hopefully and quickly restealth... so you play like a douche stealing kills and all enemy remember is them flat on the ground getting blasted or back stab to death... and you wonder why ppl don't have a good impression of the class.
  4. Female JC has got to be the worst. IA male is pretty good as well as surprisingly female Sith Warrior... her voice is powerful and commanding.
  5. Assault is the better dps tree... gunnery is more of an assist + heal.
  6. Well Vigilance Guardian are charge based spec, back in the day I only have some problem as sentinel against these guys if they a) caught me out in the open (engaged elsewhere or charged me first) b) unload, dot me up c) force push thingy d) charge and unload again Usually i'm close to death at this point, even if I try to stealth... I'm ensnared and close to execute range by the time i'm out.
  7. Don't 1v2 the combo... if you see yourself as the one person attacking the duo, give up because you won't put a dent in their hp. AoE, healing debuff + armor debuff to help assist, do hard switch to kill his tank... if you have good dps on commando, the amount of healing they can put out is limited (outside of their uninterruptable shield) so dps him down to 40% and hard switch and unload your offensive cooldown on the tank and you will very likely kill the tank (since you are a sniper and all)
  8. There is whining and there's raging. I rage at times because I want to finish my daily and get on with my evening. I rage because people I happened to be pug with are completely *******... No point leaving more than 2 ppl defending Alderaan when you're behind with one node, you are still losing anyway and they have no incentive to come and capture your last node... running along side you in huttball instead of getting ahead or my favorite, standing right by the goal line so those sith whatever can charge you and score (the game's out for 6 months now, this should not happen at level 50 warzone) Back pedal and keyboard turning really annoy me but I try not to say anything unless I'm on losing streak. Sure some bad sorc tried to pull me into acid with me holding the huttball, people proceed to call him out for trying to grief me at the expense of the team. I always top the chart or at least top 3 depending on which alt I'm on at which level, I used to run in pvp guild in other game but I have less time now and other priorities in life. So no, I have no patience for idiots not having the basic pvp skills/knowledge and yet keep poping up beside me during my daily warzones. If you are not good at pvp, seriously go pve. At the very least, have some basic strategic understanding as to where to stand/guard/be that'll help the game.
  9. Explosive fuel is only part of the problem, it makes you guarantee to kill someone every few minutes. The problem is the burst and control, you can cycle through the same rotation every 15 seconds and chances are there are 2 rail shot within 15 seconds (proc) With BM + gear and Eliminator set bonus (15% crit for railshot)... avg Pyro are sitting at 50% crit rate... so one in half Railshot will crit for 3.5-4k depending on expertise. This is not considering thermal detonator crit for 3.5k, flame burst crit for 1k and rocket punch crit for 2k+... This is okay if people can avoid the dmg, but there isn't a way to because Pyro have COMPLETE control over enemy movement. 100% chance to apply ensnare via flame burst, grapple for those sage who think force dash actually helps? Long range stun and aoe short range stun. You wanna kill some silly healer for sure? Dot him up, rail shot, thermal detonator, pull if too far, flame burst if close enough... interrupt first heal, aoe stun the 2nd attempt and he will definitely be almost dead by the time you proc 2nd railshot. Pyro is so easy mode its BORING to play. I routinely solo cap vs 2-3 ppl guarding Alderaan (before they cap it snow or grass side) because I can instant gib some healer with adrenal + explosive fuel, pop shield + drink potion and easily out burst anyone who is silly enough to try... I can kiting them WHILE dps them down... they will not get to melee range more than 2x when I keep spamming flame burst to keep them away from doing meaningful dps to me. To fix this class, either lower the burst or take away their utility... simply take away their flame burst ensnare ability will go a long way to balance this class.
  10. 1) Not enough ppl to play with for a MMORPG. Shame!!! 2) No tool to facilitate end game. Its tiring to shout in fleet general chat to get a group going for a flashpoint and have it break up in 20 minutes looking for that last healer/tank. This is 2012... people are USED to having tool to form group together. 3) Crafting is down right stupid. Only one viable crafting profession. At least they can try to copy warcraft and have each profession create Raid level best in slot gear. But apparently they are too dumb to even do that. I mean I can get biochem to increase my main stat by 8-9% + some power 100% of the time or i can get a medicore epic in ONE slot of my gear that gives 20+ primary and 20+ endurance for my character... Did I mention biochem have reuseable potion AND their own separate adrenal? 4) Terrible endgame for casual player. Warcraft had factions to grind, not to say its fun but here you do the same set of quests everyday without purpose/carrot. There's a bit of difference between yay i'm exaulted with so and so faction vs i have 200 daily commendation... 5) PvP and PvE gear imbalance... its fair easier to get pvp gear than pve. It may take longer to get pvp gear but you will get it eventually where as pve is a oh the boss didn't drop anything i can use yet again or i got out rolled by same class ppl in group. Flash point is too stingy with loot where as raid is like handing them out like candy. Meh, I sure there will be hard core fan that'll stay but not me.
  11. Stop beating the dead horse. Reroll on Fatman or quit. I did both.
  12. IA is probably the best by far, where bioware have the most freedom to create their own story without having to worry about the original Star Wars back story. I like BH chapter 1, all the way up to becoming the champion of great hunt or whatever, but chapter 2+3 have no relevance to the entire SWTOR story. BH was my first 50 and I really didn't even know the war had started by chapter 3 because the story was so self absorb. Jedi knight is your stereotypical Luke Skywalker story... boring and goodie two shoes SI is really, really bad... and I even tried playing as an evil sorcerer... I mean i don't care about any of the campanion and azshara was so WHINY and Hard to please... pure annoyance Sith warrior is pretty good overall... very nicely done and you do hate Barras by the end. JC was meh in chapter 1, I didn't care about curing any of these masters... i mean they just showed up 5 minutes ago... but I do actually enjoy chapter 2 + 3, feels like you really matter in the war... building an alliance... very much like dragon age origin. Smuggler is meh... I mean there's got the most humor of all the story line... but its entirely designed for Male toon with his romance with Risha... and playing as female smuggler just feel out of the place. I didn't get through trooper chapter 1, its weak and i DISLIKE the premise and the story. Sorry if republic senator betray me and leave me to DIE, i'm gonna come back and HUNT them. Why is it okay for Havoc squad to be sacrificed for some senator's GREED? Why should I hunt them when I want to JOIN them and defect to empire so that I can come after the GREEDY senator that was the CORE problem in the first? Ridiculously dumb story....
  13. Good madness sorc, a lot harder because it takes time/space to kite Equally geared sniper... the ones who know to cc you through accuracy debuff or guarded by force. Shadow in dps gear... if they are geared, you won't outlast their heal/passive avoidance. Pyro power tech who open on you... you can be at 30% hp before you know it or by the time you got grappled to their face. You won't kill equal geared operative healer as annihilation if they know their class. Vigilance spec who open/charge on you and force push then charge you. 2x charge = immunity to your cc and by the time you recover, you are at 30% hp too.
  14. Carnage is far more effective at burst/lock down and killing healer or assist than Annihilation. Annihilation is just better 1v1, pug warzone play that's all. You haven't seen real dmg when you take away 70% of a tank's hp within one perfectly set up precision strike combo (6-8 seconds?)
  15. There are several. Sith warrior have that snowy, furry companion that have NO story whatsoever. I was betray now I kill for sith clan... the end. Sith inquisitor pirate is not very interesting... even as a romanceable companion. Bounty hunter, the last alien companion is all about revenge and torture... one dimensional (at least there's some back story) Agree with jedi knight, sergent boring is tediously boring, have nothing to add or say. Didn't get far enough on my trooper, smuggler and I generally really like Jedi consular, especially Nadia and the healer.
