  1. Unfortunatly, I'm not going to be here to witness your challenge, so I'll post it anyway. Grab a friend or stranger, put them into the middle of a mob group, they aren't to do anything that would generate aggro, then use a healing ability on said ally. The mobs will turn and charge at you. This is evidence that healing generates aggro. If you also feel the need, I'd like to see your result in the form of a video.
  2. I've been playing far longer than 6 years pal, and they do generate threat. I can even tell you why, if you really want. Rather, I can tell you how to check.
  3. Taris Heroic quest. Cannot remember the name of the quest, but I remember it was the only HC I did on Taris and I stashed that headpiece away in my captains locker. I'd say I vaguely remember killing Rakghouls... but, y'know, that's a given.
  4. As far as I am aware, Assassins/Shadows DPS better than Juggernauts/Guardians. And Juggernauts/Guardians tank better than Assassins/Shadows. One is going to better at something than the other, realistically, this is the way it should be.
  5. I tend to do quite well in PvP. However, that may be because I actually focus on the objectives rather than sit around and go for kills. I've went engineering for PvP, main for mobility, and it works quite well. Snipers aren't bad, players are. This can't be said for other classes though, Snipers just have a learning curve.
  6. I just dusted off my Jedi Shadow I had from early access, forgot how cool he looked. I'm looking forward to 1.2, see y'all in pvp.
  7. According to my friends, Juggernaut is pretty faceroll to play. I can't give you reasons because I don't have any experience with them, but yeah, that was 7 votes out of 10 for juggernauts.
  8. Really, it wouldn't, because the point of a summoner class is their dps comes from a pet. Said pet would then replace the summoner for damage output and effectively replace him in nearly all aspects.. The only difference is, Summoners would have it easier with harder content, because the enemy effectively has three health bars to eat before it wins.
  9. Sorry, from reading your post, that's all I got from it...
  10. Even City of Heroes has aggro from heals, lol.
  11. Um... they're the same spells? The only meaningful and class defining difference I know of is the end game spells they have. If I remember rightly, Sage has a team ability whereas Sorc has a self ability.
  12. Closest thing to that I'd say is the Sage and Sorceror. They can give their shield a decent buff in their dps tree.
  13. That wasn't even remotely his point... His point was that people don't even have to try in order to recieve the gear now, whereas those of us who put in the effort went through hell and back to get the gear. Now, folk like yourself are getting it on a silver platter.
  14. I'd say scoundrel and Operative. Energy management, healing and CC. You can't spam your skills like Sents/Maurs who build rage and fury. Don't manage your energy properly you're going to have a lot of downtime.
  15. Personally, I try and use cover around me other than that big bullseye called a shield. Ever since I started that, I've survived longer and killed far more.
