Asking again for bioware to please confirm this bug and a timetable to fix it. I'd like to be able to play my alts

If anyone has any unused codes that grant chapter 1 and a free 60 I convinced several of my old friends to give the game a try again, more than 8. I apologize if this is against the TOS to ask here, but if any of you have any of those codes you didn't use and would be willing to donate hit me up with a PM. Thanks in advance.

Has there ever been an official conformation that this is a known bug and they are working on it? I can't advance my characters past Chapter IX until it's fixed.

I know, as I said I did that. i've romanced her on other characters. I know how to make that happen. I'm not posting here for help, I'm reporting a bug.

Done it on several comps, flirted with her every chance, never kneeled to Valk. I didn't romance her in SoR though. At the end of chapter IX I'm unable to get the flirt option to initiate the romance dialogue in the cantina. ***

If you want to ignore the tremendous advantage in crafting a max influence comp gives you, go for it. Maybe you don't craft, maybe you don't care. But for people that are going to choose to aggressively max influence on companions, Nico is a very logical choice over possibly temporary ones.

Take it however you want. If you spent millions of credits raising affection on characters they could decide to kill, thats your business. They wouldn't dare do it to characters who are paid rewards (and Nico by being a sub requirement, is a paid reward)

Everyone who is smart is using him. BW won't kill off or have you lose a companion that was a reward or you paid for. So the effort and cost to level him is lower risk.

I saw that scene, and don't get me wrong I'd expect that to happen for everyone. My concern is what about going forward? Just from a story standpoint if they arent going to be really involved may as well pick lana, theron etc

I havent leveled my alts yet because I'd like to know before I lock them in or pass on a new character romance. It's annoying

I've been gone for awhile, and was curious if anything has ever been confirmed about resuming old romances regarding their integration into the story. I don't really care to bother if I'm gonna get one cut scene and then they follow me around like a deaf mute like they have since ROTHC. If that's the case I might as well switch to the new characters.

TBH the main one I'm concerned about is the JK and Kira. To a lesser degree Dorne and Vette. The rest I don't really care. I guess I'll play them

Ugh. I really don't want to play any more of my characters until I know. I'm gonna be pissed if I stay faithful for a 2 min scene and then it's back to ROTHC and SOR again. Meanwhile characters that pick a new romance are running around the galaxy having adventures with their LI (integrated into the story, not just "along for the ride"

There's a difference between having it "be in the game" and having your romance integrated. If I'm not going to be able to take them and have them meaningully contribute to the story I'd rather just romance lana or something where it's more fun to actually interact Like for example That's adding a layer of drama and story to your romance. If your old partners aren't going to be plugged in that way it's boring.

I'm reaching a point on my second character where I'll have to decide if I'm going to initiate a romance with a new one. Are the old romances coming back? And in more than a way where it's "here's your recruitment quest with 3 lines of dialogue" and then they go back to being background characters. If they aren't going to be integrated more into the story like lana, koth, senya etc I kind of don't see the point.

See there you go with that condescending crap again. I'm not new to MMO's. I am not going to go back 5 years and dig up all the quotes where they implied what the vendor would be, how it'll be fixed. But this is part and parcel for their terrible communication. I'd rather them just come out and say "CE is done, sorry kthnx" then to continue to ignore the issue and fail to deliver, while making vague promises to one day do something about it. You act like updating that vendor is some huge undertaking that we should have expected they couldn't deliver on. Clearly you are the special snowflake who doesn't feel kinda cheated. Myself and everyone else who raged in that epic CE thread...we're just all unreasonable idiots who shoulda known better.

Really? So all those developer comments about how gosh, we really want to get that thing updates more frequently like we promised aren't specific enough for you? They. Lied. If you want to go around blaming yourself for getting scammed fine. That's fair to accept a portion of blame. But quit absolving them.

Actually, they paid for updates in perpetuity, per the advertisement.
