  1. $15/mo isn't paultry, it works out to $180 a year, and that doesn't include the price we paid just to buy the game in the first place. Can anyone say with a straight face we've seen $180 worth of content since launch? Now if you would have actually read my post, I made it perfectly clear I don't mind paying for things I want and will use. (gear, additional content, etc.), but I refuse to pay again for something I already bought when I purchased the DDE pre-launch, and that includes action bars and the titles I unlocked. And why should I pay for something every other F2P game gives away?
  2. I came back yesterday as a F2P member and I'm extremely disappointed with this Cartel Market. Now I have no problem with EA/Bioware asking me to pay for a lot of the things on the market, boosts, different gear, vanity items, extra zones/quests, etc. Charging me for that stuff is fair. What bothered me is a lot of stuff that should be part of the core game is also on the market. Charging me for another hotbar, charging me to use the titles I already earned, using the unify color option. Really guys? To me that's crossing a line. Give me a complete game, add stuff in the market that I want to buy, don't make it feel like you're nickel and diming me just to play the game
  3. It's not a conspiracy, it's just immature. There are plenty of games I don't like and I don't troll their forums. And in my experience there are some things that GW2 does better than TOR, on the other hand there are some things that GW2 does vastly inferior to TOR. It's all opinion and yours in no more or less valid than anyone else's. Seriously...grow up
  4. Sadly, it's not just this forum, I've seen them trolling on every gaming forum I've visited. They're everywhere, and if they're a general sign of what the community is going to be like, that game has no chance. Although it is entertaining to see them brag about that game, listening to them and you'll hear it all from no grind to peace in the Middle East because all the terrorists will be playing it
  5. The hilarious thing is: this has been going on for years and I doubt it's going to end anytime soon. It's like they refuse to see the trend. The stuff we seen in TOR's forums is the same stuff we've seen in every other MMO's forum in the post-WOW era, we're already beginning to see it in TERA"s forum and I can't wait until 3 months after GW2's launch and we see the "Why this game failed" threads. I'll be around to say I told you so
  6. In fairness it's like this everywhere. Gaming forums: no greater hive of scum and villiany in all the universe
  7. This. I laughed so hard at his comment too that I almost fell out of my chair. Tera...they have what? 12 servers and people are already calling for mergers. Tera hahahahaha
  8. Like what? Server transfers, big deal. And as for a lack of subscriptions, all that means is fewer game updates, and the ones they do have will cost money. People are complaining now about how TOR needs to add more content, what do you think it's going to be like over there when 6 months have passed without a 1.2 dropping?
  9. You haven't been paying attention to this forum
  10. I take it you didn't play in the beta last month. The stuff you see on this forum is the same stuff you'll see on theirs 6 months after GW2 releases
  11. Which isn't possible. It took WOW 8 years to get all those features implemented and yet communities expect games to have them at launch. Development takes time.
  12. I played WOW from launch until the Firelands were added. WOW used to be a great game, but it's vastly inferior now. People like to laugh about how TOR lost 400k subs, but WOW's lost more than 2 Million since Cata. That's not a good game.
  13. That alone is a pretty big accomplishment and not easily pulled off, just ask TERA
  14. Not a perfect game, but it is a very good game. Still the best MMO on the market
