  1. Please bring back the giggle. Or at least replace the annoying tracer missile launch/grappling hook noise with something that doesn't make me brace for incoming damage every time I hear it. I play a heal spec, and the constant laughter as I'm dealing with a dps trying to kill me in a warzone really added to the experience.
  2. Currently, you have to hit the keybind again every time the target changes. I am assuming the changes will mean that ToT will become "sticky", meaning that once you select a friendly player to ToT, the target will change without having to hit the keybind again.
  3. Haven't seen much discussion about this before now, but I am not optimistic about how the Target of Target system in 1.2 is going to affect healers in PvP. Focus fire is bad enough when you have a raid target over your head. Combine that with even PUGs being able to pick a dps to lead an assist train via ToT and I predict healers are going to have a real short life expectancy, even with a tank guard.
  4. Getting really sick and tired of Cloaking Screen being broken by a DoT only to watch 3 heals in a row hit for 0 while DoT kills me. If I'm out of stealth, heals should heal me. Same goes for deliberately breaking Stealth and then not getting a healing powerup in a warzone to work. There should not be any lag with this. Or at least put Energy Screen low enough in the tree that Medics can pick it up. Thank you.
  5. Based on what the devs are saying, the problem is not so much Operative healers needing to be carried through content by the rest of the group as it is bad dps needing to be carried through content by healers. Raids that insist on Sorc/Sage healers are basically admitting that they are incapable of executing cleanly on encounters.
  6. Also, don't forget that you can proc a Tactical Advantage with Shiv for a free Surgical Probe.
  7. Georg Zoeller: Sure, any healer spec can clear any difficulty level, given perfect execution by the DPS classes. The actual issue is that Sorc/Sage healers are much, much better at correcting for mistakes and salvaging what would otherwise be a wipe. Which is what separates the truly great healers from the mediocre. As has been pointed out earlier, viable is not the same thing as competitive.
  8. Agree with casting Diagnostic Scan to bait the interrupt. Doesn't work against good players, but it's pretty much all we got. Kolto Infusion is a bad idea because if you have a TA up, you're better off spamming Surgical Probe when low on health. One major problem with Kolto Injection is that the large green glowstick animation is a rather obvious flag for the interrupt.
  9. I don't really have a problem with raid mechanics requiring people to stack up for heals.
  10. Replace Recuperative Nanotech with Kolto Strike. Works just like Orbital Strike only dishes out heals instead of damage. Place a circle on the ground, 3 sec cast time, ticks 3 times for 800-1000 per depending on gear. Heals everyone inside the circle. Scoundrels would get a similar ability Kolto Flyby. 1. Makes Operative/Scoundrel ACs viable healers in 16-man NM modes. 2. Makes Alacrity actually worth something. 3. Epic feel for a signature 31 point talent that actually makes it worth taking. 4. Need to be inside the circle puts in on par with Sorc puddle. 4. Easy to implement, just change the color scheme for existing OS animation. OMG, I Need This!
  11. So if knockdown effect from hidden strike is being cut in half does this mean that the resolve bar will only go to half as well?
