You have never been a slicer and yet you are commenting on slicing. Let me educate you, I spent my money on grinding slicing up to a high level, I don't want to drop skill 350/400 just so that I can restart on skill 0/400. Think of leveling crafting to skill 350/400 and then having it nerfed. I wasted time and resources in slicing, yes, some people milked the system, but I was too busy playing the game, now it costs me more to use slicing than it returns in reward, which is just ludicrous. To make it plainer, if it costs me 2k to do a mission and I get a reward of 1k, *** is the point of using slicing?

I think they still have spelling mistakes and the blizzard reference is too funny for words. Sadly I expect we will now get bombarded by scam emails like this.

Opened a ticket in beta. Same problem since release. Response from support notify relevant department and close the ticket. Huh ***! I have 4 character skills, 3 I can use, and a floating character skill that is one of the ones I previously dropped. Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah he is referring to the fact that if you have a robe with a hood on it, you cannot turn the hood off under preferences, which is a shame, some of us don't need to hide our faces

its not just maintenance that is based on American times, its support as well. Me thinks the company is trying to save on cash flow at the moment before dedicating shifts to run eu times as well. Everyone laughed at me when I raised the maintenance and support issues last time, not laughing now are you? I also took annual leave to play, and have been stuck in the wrong sleep cycle because of it. Ludicrous that we have to go on USA times each time there is server maintenance. As for the pat response to support - we will report it to the relevant department and then your ticket is closed while you are still bugged. Um that is not effective.

Its supply and demand, base price absolute minimum but srsly its often too low so still finding right price.

Well firstly I don't rly like dps addons cause then u have some moron whining about dps output and some little twit who thinks he is king because he has found a way of fooling the addon. That said there are good addons, and I miss not having a threatmeter to see if I am holding threat and need to taunt. On the reverse side I also remember addons causing crashes and lag.

You could remind them that wow used to have just as long queues but if the 6 of 40 of you move then the other 34 +6 can easily login to a new low pop server. and yes many of my friends from wow are no longer willing to come across to play Swtor, people have short memories about server queues.

Actually Taris has load issues that have nothing to do with fps or latency.

Actually if they so desperate to play with their friends starting a new character which is what they doing nothing stopping them and their friends from rerolling on a low pop server.

Obviously everyone who is just starting is going to want access to all servers, but it's unfair and selfish to those who have rolled and spent the days on their characters already and then have to wait hours to login to their chracters because these new people want access to the server when IT'S FULL!!! Can't even ask to be transferred to a low pop server, not yet even an option, if we did though the same would just happen again. We take our high lvl characters off the server and we end up with everyone trying to follow, everytime I login or dc it take up to 2 hours to login again even though it says on the server screen less than 20 min. As to joining your guild, well you should have done that before now, if you so incensed about joining the guild as a new character then go move your guild to a low pop server, not a valid excuse. Srsly need to fix this server pop and restrict additional people gaining access, just compounds the problem.

Firstly it does tell you that this is a permament change giving you plenty of warning, but! Did raise this in beta and it is stupid to not include this evolution from said other game as it kills the game for people. You have to roll multiple classes, fair enough, but then you get in the habit of skipping the quality cut scenes as it becomes repetitive, 4 jedis so u can play 1 of each, for myself 18 jedis, as I repeatedly used jedi in beta testing. Then you also have to bear in mind the starting place, smuggler and trooper in the same place, jedis all in the same place, all becomes pretty monotonous. This little not being able to dual spec, I appreciate the story line, but, it destroys the game, and some of the narrow minded people will think there is nothing wrong with it, ignoring people who have played in other games and recognised that the forumla for a good mmo is to take the evolved content from each game. I have been eagerly waiting for this game for more than 2 years and I have played every bioware game ever released since baldurs gate to now, so understand my difficulty in criticising this, but it is killing the game and it just makes later content monotonous as you end up getting in the habit of skipping repetitive content.

Since the night before release, and into release something has happened to Taris on Peragus server, its not just its struggling with too many people, its got issues, such as loading maps lags even when your ms is 48 and your fps is 129. People are constantly complaining about it and while I appreciate BW telling me its under investigation, that is meaningless its just not playable. I would rather be told you are working on a patch!

I went out did my shopping, went to the bank etc. came back almost 2 hours later and still in a queue:p While I do want to transfer to one of the light servers, I also know that there is nothing then stopping the light servers becoming full and ending up with the same problem. Clearly what needs to happen is they need to better balance the server and when it gets full they need to stop more people joining that server! DUH!
