  1. Well, at least I can pink up the 55 weekly when I get there. Thanks for the information. Sad to say I'm not surprised that this large of a bug has been around for so long.
  2. Yes, that's exactly what happened. I left for over a year and just recently returned. Nothing that can be done about it?
  3. This is only occurring on my 53 Shadow. My Imperial characters and other Republic characters can all pick up the weekly, but not him. Anybody have similar issues and can offer a solution?
  4. Oh well that's pretty damn crappy. Thanks for letting me know, anyways though. Guess I'll have to focus on creating cover for when I need Hunker Down.
  5. I am not immune to any CCs while using Hunker Down. Knockback, stun, knockdown, push, you name it. Anybody else having this issue?
  6. That would be quite interesting. Hopefully it turns out to be true. Adding in new events would help make the game feel much more alive.
  7. Soon, as stated by them. My guess is that the newest content will launch in conjunction with, or prior to, the F2P change. Take into consideration that these are fairly large additions and require a decent amount of testing. Acting like a spoiled manbaby won't make them release it any sooner. Also, you used too many ellipsis. It makes you look silly.

    nerf muarders

I agree that they need nerfs. I do not agree with the broken English and all-around poorly constructed and thought-out OP. Set bonuses are flexible, and if people are able to find ways to utilize them outside the box, more power to them. Also, the weaponmaster bonuses are garbage and the vindicator's are, arguably, the best out of all of the PvP sets.
  9. Some people care about objectives and some only care about bloodlusting. Some are just plain stupid and don't understand the basic mechanics of the gameplay. I'm always objective oriented when it comes to PvP, but I've learned that, unless you have a group of friends with you, expecting the other members of your team to actually be competent is a long shot. I'm speaking primarily for the 1-49 bracket, as I can safely say that people become much more serious come level 50. You still get the occasional people who just got to 50 and are still terrible, but there is a much higher chance to get the geared and talented veterans. Also, yes, marauders/sentinels are OP, accept it. I play the class and I understand it well, I'm not just somebody on the outside crying OP with no class understanding.
  10. I recently rolled a gunslinger after being bored of my other classes, and I definitely agree that this class is amazing in pvp. I am only level 17 but I am very consistently able to burst down priority targets in a matter of a few GCDs. I wanted to ask for some input on a spec. From what I've read and discussed with others, the 3 specs for gunslinger are all fairly balanced around each other and viable in their own right. I am currently using sharpshooter, as I really enjoy the burst that it offers, but I hear great things about DF and saboteur as well. Saboteur seems like a great character to defend objectives with their long duration AoE abilities, but I'm also told that they work much better in very organized pre-made teams than they do in simple pugs, which is the vast majority of the PvP that I do. DF is interesting to me as well, but I worry about the dot-based aspect of the class. I think that DoT classes are able to put out very nice damage numbers, but it always seems that they fall very short when it comes to the burst necessary to really eliminate those priority targets. Also, the ease with which DoTs are able to be cleansed is always such a huge detriment to the viability of the spec. That is just my experience from playing a balance shadow and seeing many other balance/madness players. If anybody has some advice or any suggestions that could steer me in the right path, or perhaps counterpoints to ease my worries about specs, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading my text wall.
  11. We need a new plague for people like you.
  12. Yes, yes they were. They claimed that getting the money was more important to buy their skills, and that they can just earn battlemaster gear anyways, so it doesn't matter. My brain bled a little.
  13. Please. I am so ridiculously sick of people opting to take the money over the recruit gear, then being completely and UTTERLY worthless and dragging our entire team down. The only reasons to not choose the recruit gear are: you already have recruit or better, you're a selfish jerk, or you're a lazy jerk. 300k can be earned within 1 1/2 hours of dailies. Battlemaster takes weeks. There are no excuses. Force expertise so that players who actually care about the team and try their damnedest to win don't get shafted by some punk who was too lazy to work for the 300k. Edited for cursing in the heat of the moment after an hour long argument with somebody about this topic.
  14. I've never once been hit for 5k by an operative, but that's not really the point. Operatives are alpha-strike classes. They blow their burst and then their sustained is garbage. The fact that sentinels have incredible burst and incredible sustained damage is what warrants cries of OP. That, and their vast assortment of defensive CDs. I have no idea who thought that giving a non-stealth class the best in-combat stealth ability in the game was a good idea. Just for the record, my main is a sentinel, so I'm not just crying OP as a different class. We are OP and we need adjustments. The same goes for vanguards/pyrotechs.
  15. Exactly what TryHard said. Watchman gets its core abilities very early with Cauterize and Overload Sabers, along with the self-heals and some bonus crit damage on burns. Watchman is more sustained damage, which can easily be seen as inferior to burst when comparing the two in terms of killing trash mobs, but the thing is that Combat does not get its fantastic burst until much later than Watchman gets its fantastic sustain.
