  1. oh yeah freddie's stuff is AMAZING. Absoultely great videos, and these two are priceless
  2. hahaha that's a great comment
  3. i rolled a JK Guardian rep side on the first day of headstart. deleted and rerolled him to fix the 'Kira bug' instead of waiting. He got to 50 a few weeks ago, haven't set foot on Corellia. got to 50 on Voss. He did all heroics on planets but only a couple flashpoints and warzones. Then my friends and i tried Empire...and never looked back. It feels more like an MMO on the populated side for one. The Sith story lines are 'less boring' for me. (it seems silly to me that by the end of the starter planet you are a Jedi Knight already, whereas the Sith stories you are an apprentice and Acolyte for a while...if feels like you make more progress, you are barely a Padawan for any period of time) So I have a 50 JK Guardian a 36 Commando a 32 Powertech a 25 Sorcerer a 16 Assassin I am not really in a rush to 50. My brother and one of my friends burned themselves out too fast on the content and 'got bored' since the rest of us (myself, my wife and friends) work fulltime. I'd seen people say when you finish the story its kinda boring at 50 so I am in no hurry as they add content.
  4. Balmorra is the same. Republic comes later and most of the 'settlements' are exactly the same except under Republic control. Same map and everything, just different starter 'spaceport'
  5. i've actually wondered if abilities are based on weapon damage or on your main stat. none of the tooltips say 'weapon damage'...and if so...that really makes weapon damage not as important
  6. Yeah this bit has been worrying me. I mean, Its cool we've been able to gain Legacy XP already (cause man it woulda sucked to not have anything count yet)...but... i fear what they will be adding will come too little too late for most.... Legacy stuff should have been really high on the priority list for launch. Hell it should have come before the 1.1 content update imo as its a missing game mechanic. I have a bad feeling about this...
  7. I'd love a Battlefront 3 using the Frostbite 2 engine. I'd love a new JK game using a UNREAL engine. I think what some have said about X-wing being unable to be done properly on a console is why we've not seen one since Alliance (which I'd still play except...it doesn't work anymore) For years I've been wondering why Lucasarts has dropped all their old franchises like X-wing, Jedi Knight, Dark Forces etc. As new game engines have come and gone I'd always imagine how a Star Wars game would be (seriously, think about it for a second, the last Jedi Knight/Dark Forces game was on the QUAKE 3 engine....) Tor is fun an all, But ever since I played KOTOR and KOTOR 2 I've been hankering for a Star Wars RPG set after the movies somewhere during eventas of the EU. Like a RPG with the Vong invasion as a member of the Jedi Order. Also something again like Shadows of the Empire. That game was fantastic.
  8. except that in the end he turned back to the light, thus he'd still look how he did at his death..
  9. how is he taking credit for it!? what does this have to do with the thread topic.
  10. its not just the trooper. Most of the other classes have pretty slim pickings on the romance front. my wife is playing a consular, her only option is theran. she was like 'eww'.
  11. i don't think its really that bad...the bolster mechanic actually is really fun. and its nice to be able to pvp with friends/guildmates of all levels. I honestly can say i myself wouldn't pvp before sprint at lvl 14. Even a match where i'm gonna lose like that i just buck up and medal farm. I mean i know it sucks, but you win some you lose some, oh well.
  12. the shield procs from generators and focus' suffer the same problem of force/tech not proccing or being affected by it. it really is an odd system. defensivve stats in this game are very very very weak.
  13. At first i wanted cross server WZs cause i was used to playing with such a large pool of players. But now...the sense of community i get with it being same server only far outweights that imo. i vote no to cross server wzs
  14. The movie never states why he is not on the council. It made it seem more like he had a bit of a rogueish air about him. the fact he defies the orders/wishes of the council is made out to be why he's not on the council himself. there is absolutely nothing in the movie about 'grey jedi'. he makes really STUPID decisions in the film. He takes a child into a warzone on naboo. he lets the same child run the pod race. he goes to only ONE junk dealer for the part he needs. and i quote 'we'll try the SMALLER dealers first' He's written all over hte place to move the plot where it's supossed to go.
  15. i personally am not a fan of 'the pvp stat' be it resilience, expertise, whatever the game wants to call it. It always, ALWAYS makes pvp more about gear than skill. Its the same stupid mentality that modern FPS' use with the perk system. Competitive play = balance not giving other players advantages and others handicaps. Its why games like team fortress and unreal tournament and counter-strike work. Skill > gear. All pvp stats do is handicap and crutch. It was a bad idea when Blizzard did it, and i don't see how Bioware didn't see the same thing. Too busy copying WOW i guess.
