The combat log is a standard of MMO playing. You need to be able to review so you can altar your tactics. It should not however automatically be linked to approval of parsers and mods.

Just off the top of my head PVP flagged players jumping into AE range, auto flags the non PVP player casting the AE [on PVE servers] No Combat log Now and then companions appear to be drug around on the ground after combat with some Elites. Auto targeting doesn't always prioritize nearest target and perhaps its range is too long Targeting sometimes gets stuck on dead target forcing player to manually pick the next target with mouse [even tab doesn't fix it] Some non tanking companions are pulling aggro like tanks and companion tanks are not holding aggro well [also tank companions are taking too much damage] On large map some of the items you pick to see are not showing up [mailbox, ect]

I would love duel spec. Rolling two of the same class isn't much fun.

The fluidity of the WoW UI is definitely one of its best features. However it might be partly due to the low end graphics also as they don't tend to put that much drag on the player's system. I know of one well known comic artist bemoaning that is isn't playing TOR though he wants to due to the stress it puts on his system when not in low mode. I will give you this though, the cast priority on mechanic vs priority on animation is important. I remember when it was a big deal for critics playing Aion so you have a point there. UI fluidity in MMOs should be looking at WoW as a standard of performance and not just making the new games UI look/feel similar.

Its one of the things I miss the most when I play this game. The missing time and weather cycles makes it feel more artificial.

So called HC players tend to ruin games. That is why every new title keeps making the same mistakes over and over and over. Regular players make up most of the subs, they tend to not complain a lot and when things get difficult to play they just pick up and leave. This is the gift of the HC player who also tend to have no loyalty to the games they leave in a mess as they move on. Been playing sense EQ, beta testing many titles sense EQ2 and it never seems to change.

You may notice if you read guild chat that you will see people labeled [for example] Tatooine (1),(2), (3). Also that when you group with people you get an odd transport to their version of the zone. This may be why we are not seeing as many people because of the instancing of worlds. Its a mechanic I approve of to combat over crowding but it might need a little tweaking.

The idea that people ether be all cheerleaders or should be labeled as a QQer is false. Its a great game so far as I can see [lvl 30] but I have found bugs, players using exploits, visual anomalies, things I wish were in the game and things that are missing that were in beta. Belive it or not it is supportive to help Bioware out by pointing issues out as long as its done in a constructive manner.

I can confirm that this is happening and likely will get worse. There are places where you really need your AEs to get though winding paths camped by groups of mobs [ like some of the Sand People camps on Tatooine]. So I fell victim to a pair of high level players who flagged them selves and then jumped in my AE range. I couldn't even tell who they were as there is no combat log at the moment to review the events. Was my 2nd try at a timed quest and really did not feel like playing after that. I recommend that a way around this be found soon [the suggestions above are great].

A lot of my guild is saying madness is better dps simply due to the speed it improves in delivering said dps. At the moment I am pure lightning and notices right away that its not as fast as I would like it to be, however it does offer significant force saving choices and even a force battery option so if your splitting time as dps and heals a lot I think lightning is a good option. just my two credits

Believe it or not the word Wife does not have not a gamer in any part of the definition. Individuals make choices in their life styles and if they choose to go along with a stereotype then that is also a personal choice.
