  1. I use explosive probe as part of my opening rotation, and most of the time on cooldown (situation/other abilities availability depending). If you don't you're missing out IMO.
  2. What level is your scoundrel, may I ask?
  3. I feel so loved! Finally made it into someone's sig! But yeah man those stunlocking operatives are insane they just unstealth and knock you on yer face and stunlock yer keyboard and **** the node is lost QQ nerf them all then they heal instant 10k crits on their HoT then restealth with their no CD vanish **** OP QQ and their slows on their poison effects are crazy **** So bw, listen to me, if you want the game to survive the solution is to nerf operatives again. They are the only class in the game that can spec 31/31/31, and it's soooo OP. We want them to be completely useless!
  4. They don't even mention explosive probe. It's more of a priority rotation anyway, but make sure you always have stim boost up. My general opening rotation is: Acid blade > Hidden strike > Crouch/Explosive probe > Debilitate > Stim boost > Backstab >Shiv >Lacerate. After that it's mostly about what cooldowns are up and how much energy you have. Corrosive dart has it's uses also. Use sever tendon to keep on your target. Some out of stealth burst is to Flashbang > Orbital strike > Explosive probe > Debilitate > Acid blade/Backstab > Sever tendon to keep them in the strike while stabbing at them. Good luck! EDIT: like the above guy said, having take cover on your bars is a great idea as it is a great cap closer/gap widener when you can get it to work in your favor. Cover is also useful when waiting for a pass in huttball or similar so that knight classes/anyone with a leap cannot leap to you.
  5. Nerf Nerf Nerf QQ QQ QQ It's cool to whine about powertechs now. Used to be cool to whine about marauders, used to be about tanksins, used to be operatives. It'll never end. Oh, that's right, I forgot. Nerf operatives!
  6. Nerf nerf nerf QQ QQ QQ QQ Nerf concealment operatives! It's the only way to save this game!
  7. "incoming central command center" vs "incoming mid" Honestly the only problem I see with that is that nobody knows what the hell you're talking about, or they just think you're trying to RP.
  8. That's because when you see them, it's already too late...
  9. That's our job. We have energy shield and the heal, but our offense is basically our defense.
  10. So.. nerf operatives? Hello, this is Georg Zoeller and I would like to offer you a job.
  11. As we've tried to say, that's not true, and if it's true for you then you're bad. It's a skill issue.
  12. End result is the same, and end result is always funny.
  13. There's always a slight delay between sapping you, unstealthing, and capping. if you break that, you're bad, and deserve the flashbang cap that follows. If the operative is quick with his keybinds, he might end up with the cap via only the sap, in which case... well.. you shouldn't have been guarding a node alone anyway.
  14. Please tell us more of your "accomplishments" in lowbie PvP. I bow to you, our level 10 stomping overlords.
  15. repent thy sins ye heathen! Accept the superior words for the same locations as your lord and savior, or burn in voidstar for eternity!
  16. Or, infiltrate/smuggle could be changed to work like force camo.
  17. You don't even have hidden strike or acid blade yet.
  18. It's the talent in the concealment tree called "Clandestine QQ" that gives Backstab a 1/2% chance to instantly unsub the target, and a 50/100% chance to stunlock their entire computer.
  19. Tell me more about my "HUGE" AoE and lack of interrupt. Maybe I've been playing a different class. I think the adrenal/relic changes will make the burst a lot more manageable for others to deal with. There are still some classes on the lower end of the spectrum at need changes, but blind nerfs are not the answer. (except for stunlocking operatives. I unsubbed way too many times in the past few days)
  20. Fine by me. We're fine without it, other classes (concealment ops, for example) are getting hit harder by the change. Maybe there will be less QQ.
  21. Call it whatever you want, it's no big deal. Don't get so worked up about it.
  22. Everyone was bad at one point or another, but what separates the good from the bad is the ability to learn from mistakes (1v1ing and not watching the door/turret, letting a knight ball carrier jump to them, etc.), and not repeat them, and will be able to anticipate enemy tactics from experience.
  23. That's why you don't see anyone break 300k damage.
