  3. Personally Most guilds now try to be somewhat social. And it is a lot easier to be social and meet new players on a voice communication program then it is using the in-game chat. And by moving up, do you mean from recruit to member? Most cases, communities have a set timeframe for people to do so. Revenant is a social guild, Been around for about 3 years(in various other games). We are recently returned to the game, and are aiming for a Flagship but can't make promises. We are nearing a full raid team and just looking for a few bodies to fill our first team. Other than that, were always willing to help out others achieve what they need done in game. Revenant was formed in May 2011 through a collaborative effort of several contributing guilds to merge into a more idealistic single guild. Revenant planned for many months for the release of SWTOR and, as such, was a Day 1 launch guild on the Terentatek server. We are celebrating 2 years as a successful raiding guild. After time off from the game, we have decided to reopen the doors for SWTOR. III. What is Revenant’s play style? a. Revenant gaming environment is strictly casual. We want gamers who enjoy gaming, and enjoy a community of other gamers. Revenant has tried being hardcore, being progression based, but in the end just want to enjoy the gaming experience. We welcome all players who share the same goal. IV. What is Revenant's Game/Leadership Structure? Revenant is made up of Divisions. Each Division represents a game. With in each game we try to establish a few key individuals to help grow population in the division and to help organize anything that may need to be organized. Anyone can become an officer/leader of a division. V. Is raiding mandatory? a. No; Raiding is always optional but we encourage you to raid to progress in whatever game you are playing. We offer you the freedom to put your real life first without any ramifications. You tell us when you can go instead of us telling you when you need to go. The only thing we ask is that if you sign up to show up. VI. What about PvP? a. Revenant always has members looking to PvP, but we do not have a dedicated team. VII. How do I join? 9. I think people are missing the big picture. Population goes up and down for every game. The problem being is, to avoid the flames of que times and over population. Bioware decided to open a ton of serves and spread evenly throughout each server. Where as most themepark mmo's in the past have opened less servers and then later added servers to suit the demand. So I don't think a server merge sends a bad idea to anyone, it actually will probably stop some people from leaving when they actually have more than 3 people who are looking for groups. I think if they cut the servers in half, we would see a lot more action on servers.
  10. I think the bigger problem(I also feel your pain for artifice) is that even though we are required to raid to craft the higher end stuff. There is no need for that higher end stuff for raids. And everything being BoP, it's pointless. I say make the drops for items rare, give us some high level schematics, and change it to BoE. Let the crafting community boost the economy in game.
  11. I would do a little research before bashing SWG.
  12. Actually the day of preorder it was stated that EA would go according to preorder. They didn't mention rather it be type of preorder or date of preorder.. But it wasn't just recently they said that, it's been mentioned multiple times over the months.
