Everything with the EA tag on it turns to ****. To the OP, I've seen worse ****ups than this one, but then again, EA...

No matter how you spec, you are a squishy. Engineering tree has a straight 6% damage reduction and a buff to shield probe, so stack those together and you have 6% + 80% reduction for 15 seconds, not a lot, and you have to go way up the tree to get it. Better to just spec as much dps as possible.

In pve I use ambush as an opener, when I crit with snipe/SoS or if my energy is close to 60%, as this will give me time to regen a bit while still putting out nice damage. pvp it's only after snipe or SoS crits only. Good use is if you get stunned by a melee, stun them back, instacrit snipe and follow with an ambush, just enough time to send them flying (if you've specced it), giving you time for 1-2 more snipes/other good stuff.

I dropped it since for pvp my usual rotation is Shatter > SoS > Autocrit Snipe > Followthrough > Ambush > Takedown. Currently this is enough to kill most stuff, and in pve dumping 2 SoS back-to-back tends to screw up energy a bit. This is my current spec: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#400bsrrdRoRtZbIZh.1 The 3 points in aoe damage works very nicely with orbital, critting 3k+ per tick and 4 ticks thanks to pvp set... Lovely.

Right, thanks to a good run in the vault yesterday, I managed to score 2 biometric crystals. One goes directly to medpac, very nice to have in all situations. The other I'm not sure about. It'll either be a skill stim or fortitude stim... I pvp a lot so the fortitude stim would be nice, but on the other hand the skill stim helps in all daily missions as well... Input?

So, I crafted it yesterday, spent about 150k buying the mandalorian irons and ciridium since the economy isn't stable yet, and what do I get? A red/black custom speederbike... I want my stuff back, kk? Alternatively, I want a new model for the hotrigged speederbike, it's just not worth the effort...

Kaliyo is useless. Wait until you get Lokin or SCORPIO. They rule.

Same thing happened to me, when kaliyo got arrested I could only send companions on missions when all of them were done with their missions. Not that much of a problem if you run missions that take roughly the same time, but an annoyance nonetheless.
