I play a Bounty hunter on the dark side and know the stats there. Is there a reason why I would not follow that general stat spread? What would be the optimized stat spread for a guardian tank for PVE? I have decided to level mine up from 52 to 75. I forgot what a grind this can be. I really want to avoid the entire fallen empire crap (having done it 3x on dark side) and jump to Ossus as soon as i can. Any ideas on how to lvl as efficiently (and quickly) as possible?

I did the delete bit raider thing. > nope. I did the change the streaming text line to 'disable = true' > nope all this did was force a redownload of the entire files and still nothing. I am still downloading and cant update till its over yet the entire library is there. (lame)

I love my lightning sorc. I play him a bit more than my BH tank. Both are fun. I am about to finish my last class story to get legendary status. Its the Jedi Sage. What is the most analogous to Lightning Sorc >spec-wise for the Sage? Is there a spec players gravitate to more so for lvling? Thanks!

Greetings, Did we as healers get nerfed (again) while I was gone? I struggle to keep up heals in basic Master Mode flash points. I am in 306 gear with no set bonuses yet. I am getting my set bonuses on my DPS Sorc first and he is in almost full Gathering Storm but that is for another class forum. With that said, my Operative build is as optimum as I can get with nearly 11% alacrity, and as much Crit as I can put in there. My HoTs feel very weak and my direct heals is ...meh. Is this also the communities feeling or perhaps I am just gonna have to go back to heal school 101? To be clear, I left about 3.5 years ago and I was healing ops and hard mode flash points well with Ravagers being fun an doing Blood hunt just fine with a good tank. On a side note I see we are getting nerfed again. What 'set' should I be shooting for when I am ready to get them?

My Armstech is level 56. I never intend to level her to 75. She got the class story done and is maxed on Armstrech (700) and Investigation and slicing. Now I want to learn the Augment green 77. I think thats the one. However from what I am reading the only way to learn that schem is to run the flash point Anathema as it is a bind on equip drop and that is the sole and only place to get this? Is this correct? This is absolute bull droppings! I simply want to craft stuff on this character but being forced to level up just to run a new flash point is idiocy. Why? Why? Why? Is crap like this on why I left the game 3.5 years ago.

Greetings. I have some adrenals and a 292 relic that > use Adds alacricty for 30 seconds. I equipped it and dragged that icon to a hot bar button but the item does not click nor will adrenals when I drag them. Is there a bug on these or a setting I need to check? EDIT > I can use both the relic from the paperdoll and the adrenal from my inventory bag but both do not seem clickable when dragged to a bar> 2nd Edit, Ok for some reason this morning both are working from a hot bar. Thanks for the replies. I disliked Assault on Tython anyway. It just seems like the scaling here is off. If you can do Blood hunt with the expectations you normally have but regular trash on AoT is murdering you, something feels off.

Greetings. Yesterday I had been playing for several hours. I use Express VPN while running the game. I have had the game suddenly just DC on me while in large fights. Now my VPN throttles my speed down to about 100/ms down. My non-vpn speed is about 400 (I pay for this speed and its consistent). My computer is fairly beefy > 8700K oc'd to 4.9ghz, 32 gigs of ram, Gforce 1070 GTX. I play on high settings on everything. Will lowering graphics settings help? Should I disable the vpn while playing? Both? Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of folks like this in game. I would like to gently remind everyone that we all are here to enjoy the game. I returned after being away from the game for 3.5 years. I am one of those 'spammers' and the reason is to gear up as fast as possible. I used to do Hardmode (master mode now?) weeklies and bear with it. But now the new bar to succeed is 306. While I get and understand that a good player can succeed in crap gear if they just now how to play. However, I am still relearning what I forgot. I do not consider myself a poor player. I am a returning one that remembers wiping repeatedly on Maanan and on Blood hunt, oh man do I! Before I start cueing up for Mastermode, I really want to be in the best gear I can so that when i forget stuff and make mistakes > sheer dumb arse dps can sometimes make up for it. I spam HS as it is the simplest way to get gear. I cue up with my (also returning friend) who is a tank and I run heals. Fast, fast fast. I am more than happy to learn Master mode content but both of us are in an inactive guild and have not been able to talk to anyone to teach us. Anyway, I just wanted you to know there are other players who are there to have fun, gear up and (at least for me and my friend) not be a detriment to your enjoyment of the game.

Greetings, So My operative is 75 and Irating > 275 My friend is Powertech shield tank 75 and Irating > 265 We cued up for a random and pulled Assault on Tython. We had with use two dps > lvl 28 and lvl 33. They were not focusing on the tanks target and were kinda leapin' around to thier own targets. Even with that I should have been able to heal everyone in range. The first few clusters of encounters with 3 silvers and 3 standards were killing everyone and burning the tank down very fast. Keep in mind this was in veteran not master. We wiped 5 times just trying to clear bridges and folks got frustrated and quit the group. I know how to heal and whats odd is my heals were ticking for about 1200 /hps on the basic probe. In other veteran fps > Athis, Hammer, CZ Meltdown, my heals tic for about 4500. Is there something on my end I need to fix or is this just a quirk with AoT and AoK ? What is the reason behind this?

^^^ This, I had a key attached to my account near launch. I left 3 years ago. At various times I have spent the 12K cartel coins unlocking all of the perks you get while subbed. I do sub as its a pittance to pay if I am enjoying the game. Hell I am subbed for both ESO and Swtor right now but I do enjoy both.

Can I at this level and in 228 gear solo the two flashpionts? Does hammerstation or whatever final flashpoint have to be done in hard mode or can it be done (and soloed) in story mode and still get my 'parts'? I, uh have all crafters at 600 right now and I am just saving to get each and all relevant gathering skills/missions up as well. I played a lot from Beta to 3 years ago. I loved crafting but now its very very expensive and I am not sure I can sustain getting everyone all the things they need. My mains are Synth, biochem, armormech. I am currently trying to raise those three but I have the other skills to work on as well.

Now I resubbed and discover that lvl 75 GREEN armoring mods/mods/enhancements require a component which Is only found in Hard Mode Flashpoints or regular ops. I really dislike this just to make green gear. The response I expect is just run hardmodes. My answer that is, see that thread over there .>> the one titled the folks you meet doing hard modes. This community was a toxic cess pool back 3 years ago and I doubt it has changed. I hated having to grind HM's over just to get tokens, but now I have to do it again just to grind for a uncommon drop that I may get while doing a group with a bunch of impatient arsehats just so I can make ONE piece of crappy green gear that I level up (my skill) on? I spoke to my two friends I brought back with me and said this will be the one thing which I will simply re unsub and stay with ESO. I liked Star Wars but seriously this is just lame. Yea the heroic abilities are not bad. To change my thread a wee bit. Do folks still run the Oricon/Cz198 dailies? We used to run them every week for credits and gear tokens. I know the tokens are gone but can you still benefit from doing them?

Greetings again folks and thanks for the replies to my other posts. I recently returned last week and brought 2 other friends with me. My plan was to get my Sorc (measly dps but fun), Operative (healer or dps) and Powertech (tank) who are 65 to 75 first. Than revisit the last 3 republic classes I have and finish their story to 50 and get legendary status (is it worth it?). My friend and I are still in the same dormant guild. We have been here since launch but its long dormant. Its level 12 and has a guild ship and many amenities. We would like to get 'some' of our primaries into some end game gear when we get around to doing that. I see that gear is either a drop in Ops or Hard modes or purchased (3000 tech things + a million credits). We noticed that money is quite stingy and repairs are kinda out of control. What are your (the communities) recommendation to acquiring end game gear for freshly minted players who returned? Are dailies like Oricon, CZ198, Yavin worth doing for credits or such? Thanks for your advice.

This is the exact situation I am in. I left as a fairly good player but literally forgot all my rotations and how things work. On a side note in this thread, I was heal but going to go to either lethality or conceal. What would you have your companion set on?
