There is no way Vader would stand a chance against the Emperor in his prime. The most powerful psychic being in the Universe vs a Sith apprentice whose master cannot wait to replace is hardly any contest. However, in the Emperor's "current" state of being interred in the Golden Throne it is a much more interesting contest. Vader would be stronger in the physical realm, so the question is whether the Emperor has enough power or even the ability to mount an effective defense of himself. Assuming Vader can overcome the Adeptus Custodes (very unlikely), I doubt the Emperor would stand a chance, especially when someone like Cypher is supposed to be able to kill him. I would not discount the Emperor straight up destroying Vader's mind though.

I sadly never got to experience SWG in its pre CU days, but the game came out my 1st year of high school and I remember being insanely jealous as people in my classes talked about their experiences in the game. I find it interesting that the sentiments people have about pre CU SWG are very similar to the sentiments about Final Fantasy XI. All over the internet I see people talking about the problems those games had but how much they loved them and it makes me kind of sad I missed out on the pre WoW era of MMOs.

What is the measure of MMO success? Specifically, is Lord of the Rings Online a successful MMO? It offered a lifetime subscription option when it launched.

Give them a few days to get their new servers online and get past the rush of everyone who preordered trying to sign in. I know that people will never be happy, but this is the launch of an MMO, there are always kinks to work out. In a couple of weeks it will all be straightened out, but for now you just have to put up with it.

I am highly disappointed that Bioware decided to reinstate the grace period. It gives those who get their copies on the 21st an unfair advantage because they get one day free that I will not have. If Bioware does not change this I am going to quit and burn my copy of the game.
