  2. I think force user melee is pretty decently balanced at its worst. Idk about casters because they aren't a big deal to sentinels which is what I play but I do see a huge problem with bounty hunter damage. A bounty hunter can kill me in less than 3 seconds everytime I go at one 3700's fly across my screen one after the other and I'm in pretty decent 50 gear.

    It's an issue on bioware's end. They REALLY need to fix it. I wonder if they realize how big of a deal this is.
  4. Yes as a sentinel my interrupt does not lock them out of the ability they were interrupted on unless I got juked RIGHT as they did it which is highly unlikely.
  5. I am sure brackets for lvl 50s is to come but it should not be implemented for at least another month. There aren't enough lvl 50s to have their own bracket right now.
  6. bounty hunters doing 8k in a global to me is fine. I am also lvl 50 and am half champion gear.
  7. What about dps? Tanks are the ones who get most medals because they get the tanking ones while doing just fine dps for the dps medals. People don't deserve more because they heal. I don't get anything for peeling for them.

    Obviously WOW they have arenas and rated battlegrounds and don't have severe glaring balance issues like a bh or an operative killing someone in 3 seconds (not an exaggeration). Atleast in wow when fast kills like that happen good players actually have the tools to stop it from happening in the first place. The only big problem they are faced with atm is end game pve gear causing problems this season. Can't even argue with the fact that there are delays in actions in swtor and gameplay in wow is smooth. Definitely a high priority problem that needs to be fixed soon.
  10. I would blame it on class imbalance: sages/inquisitors are too strong and so are scoundrels/operatives but naturally the imperial version of those two mirrors are generally more appealing. If you want to be a caster dps or a rogue-like class people are more drawn to inquisitors with the lightning instead of the boring rock throwing that sages have going on. I've noticed when I have a lot of sages on my team we completely dominate. Also, I think troopers and bhs are supposed to be the same yet whenever I go up against a bh I see 3700s one after another flash across my screen I have been killed in 5 seconds by a bh (he sat in a full 3 second stun during those 5 seconds) but I haven't seen troopers do that oddly enough.
  11. Again I see this idea that does not make an ounce of sense to me. Someone here is going to have to explain to me what the difference is between balancing warzones and balancing arena. I know a few differences but I could not possibly EVER imagine someone favoring warzones with the realization of those differences. In order to balance around warzones INSTEAD of arena you would balance classes abilities to perform the objectives which doesn't make any sense to me because a tank will be able to carry the ball in huttball much better than a dps does but if we balance around warzones, then it would be the same... As I stated before knockbacks too present a tremendous imbalance on huttball and you can't say "well everyone will have the same amount of knockbacks" because they won't and it would be a terrible argument to just tell people to stack certain classes for rated warzones because they is NOT balance so knockbacks would have to be removed and all classes would have to be homogenized.

Please don't say battlegrounds because if you think it should be balanced around battlegrounds you probably do not understand what you are asking. Let me give you an example of a step they would have to take to balance battlegrounds: -All knockbacks have to be removed from the game You couldn't play huttball with knockbacks with 2 competent teams on skype with knockbacks, it would be nearly impossible to score Not to mention that none of the 3 battlegrounds currently in game would actually even work in rated play. Alderaan and especially the voidstar would be completely awful as rateds. You would have to pretty much annihilate the entire enemy team in a short span of time to plant/cap and that is no small task considering that they will have 3-4 healers + their dps on defense will be doing nothing but using all their cds to stay alive. Balanced arena is almost perfectly balanced pvp in every other facet anyway. What is arena except pure pvp? If you don't think pure pvp should be balanced, I'm not sure what to tell you but you probably are a raider who views pvp as an unnecessary side thing so please just let us have what we want, we aren't asking pve to be balanced around solo questing instead of raiding. Also people are horribly wrong on the "you have to run arena for the best gear" part. RBGs gives more points than arena does. If you are 2200 in arena you have a 2450 weekly point cap, 2200 in rated battlegrounds is over 3000 and 2200 in rated battlegrounds is even easier to get by miles than the arena counterpart. This statement could not be more incorrect. I would estimate that I would have to play 10 battlegrounds before I saw another person with arena quality gear. People just did battlegrounds to gear up so they could do arena in wow end of story for most people. Setting one up is not an option, the ladders and cross-realm are an important aspect of arena.

  14. Obviously tank I have seen this one lvl 50 sith juggernaught(or guardian) in relatively top notch gear take a full minute for 3 people to kill. Yeah healers are harder to kill than most dps for most dps but if more than 1 person is on you healers tend to become easy kills without peels from their teammates.
  15. I do not think they use the wow system where the last team to cap wins in the event of a tie, which is completely asinine. I have noticed that the team who wins is the team who has control of the ball which is just as horribly innacurate as to determining the best team.
  16. I agree with the op. We made WAY TOO MUCH money for doing absolutely NOTHING. Later down the road this would cause credits to be completely worthless as a currency and no one would take seriously its value leaving the game without a true trade medium.
  17. There is also a talent at the first level of combat tree called defensive forms. It gives me centering everytime I am attacked and it is giving me a full stack of it off a single silver mob. Very nice.
  18. Not possible while keeping everything else balanced although I don't think its going to be too bad anyway. As a jedi knight, nothing can really kite me between a ranged mortal strike a ranged execute 2 charges a ranged stun ext quite like a warrior gets kited by mages.
  19. Due to the lack of high end competitive pvp, many high end competitive pvpers do not already play this game. They exist and since there is no real competition in the mmo market for good pvp it would definitely be an economic gain for them... The reason participation went down in wow is because there were a couple new things they added to the ladders that have devastated the ladders and blizzard didn't fix it for almost half a year. If you think the reason participation went down is because people just don't like arena you are sadly mistaken. The fact of the matter is that this game is new and is a long way off from being balanced enough/set up to properly do arena (Classic wow couldn't either) if they wanted to anyway but if bioware actually cared at all about pvp what else would they balance around? I've heard things like "balance around battlegrounds and have rated battlegrounds the pinnacle of pvp". There is so much to say about that. Suppose they balanced around battlegrounds. First of all, all knockbacks would have to be removed from the game simply because of huttball. The other rbgs are flawed beyond belief for rated play as well. If rated battlegrounds were released today they would not happen the way bioware thinks they will. It would be impossible to get an explosive on the gate in voidstar without completely massacring the enemy team which simply doesn't happen unless the two teams are terribly one-sided and don't start on alderaan just look at battle for gilneas if you played wow. It is not the same as arathi basin, the problem is it is next to impossible to capture a base once it is claimed. Don't believe me? Imagine a fully coordinated group of 3 healers and 5 dps. A tank and a healer would be on the left/right base, everyone else would duke it out at the middle. 2 healers and 4 dps vs 2 healers and 4 dps. The only way to cap mid against competent players is to wipe out the enemy team in a very short period of time which isn't going to happen when everyone is max level/geared up/more experienced at this game. You kill one person, they will be back before you can finish off the rest of the group. Contrary to what I have seen a lot of people claim, a base is not lost until it is captured. It doesn't matter if there is 1 defender and 6 attackers. That 1 person could keep people from capping long enough for his whole team to be there. It might be fun don't get me wrong, but it isn't as fulfilling as arena. It just confuses me how there is any anti-arena sentiment at all. If you are anti-arena, you are anti-pvp because that is all arena is: pvp, nothing else. If you only play bgs you like the objectives. Fine, but stop being selfish and let us have what we want too. I just don't get this. What changes made to pvp hurt people who just do bgs? What is the argument? There is more incentive to better balance with arena then there is without..
  20. I can not think of an effective way to deal with these bots it is possible that an automated system is incapable of doing the trick. The only way to solve this is to have gms manually observe some games on occassion and come down hard on people who do this. It isn't a silly little infraction, these afkers are fully aware of how they are hurting the game for others so at best I think they deserve 1 warning in addition to losing their warzone commendations and valor(if valor even matters I don't even know what it does) and then temp bans.

  22. I don't see a bug report forum so I am just posting this here: A talent in the focus tree refunds 10 centering back when transcendence fades. Problem is, when it fades, it provides 10 centering back PER PERSON that had it. While questing with a buddy of mine I noticed I got back 30 centering when transcendence ends and so I just kept our little sprint up to speed things up but then when I was too far from him to benefit and it fell off I only got 20 centering. 2 10's from my companion and myself. Fairly certain this is not intended...
