  1. I'm back after a long break (almost 2 years). I love this game for the PVE storyline element. I'd like to play through the Jedi Knight storyline and am wondering which class is easiest to solo. I'm not looking for PVP or raiding and all my friends play other games so solo it will be. So.....guardian or sentinel? What would your choice be and why? Thanks ahead of time for your input.
  2. /agree! I wholeheartedly agree! The people active during their usual downtime (New Zealand, Australia, people who work odd hours in N. Hemisphere) get tired of missing 2-3 nights a week almost every week. Please, please, please, Bioware, consider downtime rotation!
  3. So, I get home from work today....prime time for me...and find out that the servers are coming down 2 hours early to suite the needs of the European play-base. How nice for them. What about my time (New Zealand) prime time ALWAYS being targeted? It wouldn't be so bad if it was only once a week, but it seems every patch needs at least one more emergency patch to fix some exploit/mistake/problem. And when do you bring the servers down to fix these "emergency" problems? During my prime time. How emergency is it, really? Can you please cycle the down-times? This would allow different prime-times to be targeted, not just the one. It's bad enough that New Zealand/Australia had to wait 3 months to actually GET the game and have their own servers.....now you target our prime time as well.... Can we just get some equality here?
  4. I'm not sure how to beat him. My group: 1 shadow tank, 1 scoundrel melee dps, 1 commando ranged dps, 1 sage healer all in full columni gear. Tank and I (scoundrel) were constantly interrupting the plasma arcs and we STILL got the lightning bubbles all over the place. The lightning bubbles are killing us. Sage healer dispells the incinerate right away-that's not a problem. The lightning is killing us. Everything we've read says that the plasma arcs makes those bubbles but we interrupt each one and we still get the bubbles all over the place. Help?
  5. As a woman, I second that opinion! Very well done!
  6. I used to do the same exact thing....loved the woods near our neighborhood. Then, there was a tramp/pervert who started exposing himself to us kids. No one in our neighborhood was allowed in the woods after that Does it seem like there's more child predators out there nowadays? Paranoid parents who won't let their kids leave the house? It's no wonder kids turn to technology to escape their droll lives....they can't go elsewhere.....
  7. Thanks everyone for the input! After reading them and the input from the Sith Warrior section of the forums, I think I'm going to be mainly dark-a racist pureblood sith chick who thinks because of her heritage, all should naturally bow down to her. Oh, and she's gonna think slavery is a great option for those lesser races. Also, she loves the empire, but loves her own achievements more... I can't wait to start!

  9. I posted this in lore/story forum, but thought maybe I'd get more responses here. I am about to roll a female SW. Story is important to me (main reason I'm rolling SW is for its raved storyline). Without any big spoilers, which way would be most entertaining, dark or light? I'm mostly concerned about achieving companion quest(s)/romance(s). Also, I'm assuming that going dark would make the most sense. Do light choices make the story illogical? Any input (no big spoilers, please) would be helpful. Thanks!

  11. I've completed the smuggler storyline and had a love/hate relationship with it. There were times I thought the story made crazy turns and made no sense, but then it'd snap back together. I'd sit at my screen, watching it unfold and go "OH, that's why.....!" For people having a hard time with the story, I say stick with it...it works together in the end!
  12. Get it right. He said: I get maybe 7-8 hours a day total to play, spend time with my wife, eat, and do other things. That means, 7-8 hours a day to do ALL of that, not JUST to play the game.
  13. However...... When I hop over to Imperial side, I see so much silly chat (Barrens, anybody?) that I very rarely see on Republic side. Everything from "yo momma" to "*** n00b, go solo that heroic 4 by urself". I don't know if it's the higher population or if there really are more "kids" on Empire, but the chat certainly reflects it. Maybe that's why Empire has that stigma.
