Hey, I am looking to start a new character on this server as some of my friends have also started playing SWTOR for the first time and they enjoy PvP servers. I was looking to possibly create a tank class and I was looking for recommendations. I have not played in a while, so I am kind of looking for what people recommend. I plan to obviously do some PvP, but doing PvE content is also a point of enjoyment for me as well. I look forward to the replies. =) Cheers, Edhin

I think I remember trying out ranged DPS in this game before and I do not think it resonated with me. From my character lists, I remember playing a Sage healer. I am not sure that I want to repeat that storyline. Melee DPS or tanking does sound like a good change of pace. The melee DPS more so than tanking.

*lol* Jedi scum, indeed. Aside from faction choice, your suggestion was with the melee dps or tanking classes. How is melee in flashpoints/operations these days?

All, I have recently returned to SWTOR. I kind of missed it and I have completely forgotten why I left. I am looking to start a new character on any PvE server. I have played all "roles" (healer, tank, dps) on many gaming titles, so I do not favor one over the other. I am just looking to have fun on an active server. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance,
