  1. Screw that! I'm pretty sure zorz was exploiting, it's impossible to find 3 people who can perform simple tasks consistently for the span of ten minutes with out 1000's of hours of training. I think Ufrog and Ambassadors only got their kill because the dread council got bored of being surrendered to/negotiated with after a week and a day. Clearly Lost my D fuchsia is the first real kill to happen and deserves to be in first place as they are the first guild that killed it the intended way, all you guys are just haters. I vote we posthumously grant them best guild in the world title and force their members back together to save esports.
  2. Okay, to clear some things up there are 4 kinds of abilities you have as a tank. Damaging abilities, defensive/offensive cooldowns, crowd control and taunts. This is really overly general but the only thing different between tanking and dpsing is the fact that you're using your damaging abilities and taunts to make sure the big bad is looking at you. So assuming you have already been using all your CC and cooldowns the only thing different in tanking is that you've added the two taunts. Now some abilities are not very useful for tanking (an example is crushing darkness on a sin, it's terrible) but you can figure out what abilities you should be using by reading your skill tree. If anything says "adds additional threat + damage" or "this ability generates a large amount of threat" those abilities are going to be used constantly by you to keep threat on the boss for more detailed info about the abilities check out the class forums. As for the easiest tank to play IMO it's currently The power tech/vanguard, you have the most passive mitigation out of all the tanks and a few very nice very easy to understand defensive cooldowns, however assassins/shadows have a much easier time with threat (but a much more demanding rotation). And jugs/guardians are in-between good threat on demand and passive mitigation with a decently engaging rotation. hm sorry for the rambling, all in all just throw yourself into it at low level and learn as you level up.
  3. You'll have much better luck finding someone in the Harbinger sub-forums, regardless best of luck.
  4. Personally speaking I've found a lot more success using the Exotech armor adrenal rather than the new absorb one, it's a slightly worse version of overcharge saber, which helps mitigate those huge spike periods we experience so often. Secondly, for AOE threat when dealing with a large amount of adds you need to hold agro on (Warrior phase in EC comes to mind) two lacerates will generate about as much threat as a single ability so on 3+ targets it tends to be worth it to spam between wither and discharge cd's. Other than that, very solid guide. Something to consider adding is use of cd's for those new to tanking/assassins, force shroud works on a lot of things people won't expect.
