  1. About 1.3% more PvP damage bonus from expertise [and less from the other two], plus it has 61 mods instead of 58. Different itemization though, and a horrible grind for min/maxers.
  2. Show me a 1v1 that lasts 30 seconds that isn't two tanks, two healers, or a tank vs. a healer and I'll promise to fix the TTK shorter.
  3. GW has never had a gear grind. Once you got your level 20 gear, it was the equivalent to everyone else's. The only differences were items in the gear and skins.
  4. My vote: It is not needed. Want to know how to get rid of it fairly easily? Straight up take it out. The system that's currently in place for gear, IE grinding it in PvP vs. PvE works. Dumb down the stats in PvE armor to be equivalent to the stats of PvP armor. Boom. Guess what? You've got a system that doesn't favor anyone in particular, and everyone can PvP on par with everyone else. Yes, there will still be a gear advantage to those with Rakata or Black Hole vs. people in recruit and BM. Guess what? It'd end up being the identical advantage someone in War Hero has vs. the same people in BM/recruit gear. Once again, boom. Fixed.
  5. Kind of. If you queue up with 8 guys for ranked and there aren't another 8 people on the opposite side queueing, it will get backfilled with people queueing for normal warzones. That, essentially, means you'll get facerolled and their ratings will go up.
  6. Because you used to be able to stand on the podium and attack anyone in range. but no one could get LoS on you.

    Boster Buff

Nah, that's only if you did it entirely in 72-80 hours straight.
  8. Oh the days of taking noobs into my SorsoSub Luxury Yatch in pre-cu and them not being able to get out. Those were the days.
  9. This. I'm using an old mx518 [two extra mappable buttons + MMB for auto-run] and my laptop's keyboard. Try setting up your keys in a way that you'll hit a few parts of your rotation easily and without much movement. Also, defensives must be easy to reach. For example, my rotation is, typically, something like this: Shock [Q], Whither [3], Thrash [2], Shock [Q], Force Lightning [4], and then Assassinate [E] if they are low enough. I can use 3 fingers for this rotation, fairly easily and quickly. Granted, I've been using the same basic keybinds [Q, E, R, T, F, V, C, X, 1, 2, 3, 4, + shift-versions, + mouse buttons] for years. Just get used to it, play for a few days and make changes as you see fit. It's all about muscle memory.
  10. Dual Marauders/Sentinels that know what they're doing will destroy that set up. Focus on the healer, set DoTs [Anni spec], set DoTs on tank, keep DoTs on both, burn them down.
  11. The lower your level, the higher your bolster buff is. AKA, being able to hit for 3k with Maul at level 14 and having 54% armor rating.
  12. Uhh, no. This game truly is full of *******.
  13. You REALLY want them to look more in-depth at your class?
  14. I've been telling everyone in my guild to try getting to 8%~ expertise and using t2/3 gear after they do. Almost everyone that has tried this agrees that it is the way to go. The ones that don't like it still believe that expertise has to be absolutely capped on their toons because it's the PvP stat and that makes it awesome, yet they still complain about having 2-3k lower HP than myself and lower stats all around. On my Sorc healer I hover just under 6% expertise and just over 17k health without buffs. I do fantastically and have great survivability like this. Granted, I'm using Champ gear that I could re-mod and get better stats. Sitting on 18k health, 550 bonus healing, 39% crit and 66% surge when buffed is pretty nice though ;] Now, the thing you have to really focus on when doing this is gearing yourself out correctly. That means getting rid of the awful stats in your gear [in your case accuracy] and swapping it for something better, IE power, surge, or crit.
  15. Force mystic. Although, I took out most of the mods in my gear and replaced them with other 51/56 mods because I wanted a different set up.
  16. I hit 50 on my sorc two days ago [my first 50] and, within a day, I have 3 champion pieces [two relics and an earpiece] and 5 Centurion pieces [Legs, boots, chest, hands, implant]. Granted, I got lucky. I hit 50 the night before Daily's/Weekly's reset on Ilum and I pounded that 150 kills as fast as I could both days. That's 6 bags right there, plus the other 2 from the 2 daily's, plus 3 more from comms. 3 Weekly + 3 Weekly + 2 Daily + 2 Daily + 3 comms = 13 bags my first day of being 50. All Cent/Champ comms BUT I was able to use them to get my Expertise up to, er, about 7%? Just don't do what I did and take out the mods for your old Surge/Crit purple mods the night before the Surge nerf :|
  17. Calling "Snow" or "Grass" in Alderaan fixes all confusion.
  18. Use right click. It fires off your 1st slot. gg
  19. Or, uh, you know, being able to kill people? PvP shouldn't be about gear to the extent it is in this game, and I do agree that there should be some sort of reward for PvPing and winning. This game just doesn't do it for me. I loathe the fact that, once I hit 50, I have to get my *** kicked for a good chunk of time before I can stand toe-to-toe with people of my same level. Gear based PvP is just a way to keep more subs coming in for a longer period of time. Grind grind grind.
