  1. - Guild ships should be a real thing at this point and i have always liked the idea. - Personal homes are silly. That is what your ship is for. however, i would like a little more customization in the ships (the Defender needs another room or something it has that extra random non-working door after all) - Seeing a seat and sitting in it should be a thing as well. Sometimes i just want to sit and chill. talk to people and not just stand there.
  2. I just saw this and made a thread about it before i saw this so. my bad. completely my bad. But i agree with this. one of the selling points to me for the Sent was the dual sabers. but i'm a DPS player through and through and for gits and shiggles, i'll fight with one saber because i can. I wrote a whole thing. i'm not really going to rewrite it all because there was stuff in there about the forms as well. but i support the idea of saber choice/specialization
  3. One last thing. I don't mind playing with other people when it's Ops, FPs PVP. i think that is where your community is the best. still allow people to group up on planet and run it together. but if we're running solo. let us have an extra companion at least
  4. This idea, I dig it. Mainly because when i'm running a planet. I like to run solo. I don't want to be bothered waiting for someone to do something or we all have to part ways to do our class quest. I'd like to have it like KOTOR where you pick two companions and you go (mainly because i need the others to go get stuff or build or something). I know this can be done. Uber free game "Sword of the new world" had a system like this. I would also be cool to have the companions move around the ship and not stand in a corner. Speaking of ships, there is a door in the defender that has been driving me up the wall. Put something behind that door. a training room or crew quarters or something. it's been there, teasing me since day one.
  5. I dunno if this has been suggested already or not. But I think it would be really cool to give Jedi and Sith a freedom of choice with lightsabers and maybe add in the Light-Tonfa and the Pikes then opening up the lightsaber stances to all classes. It wasn't uncommon, especially during the time this game takes place to see a Counselor to bust out in the Jar'Kai form once in a while (the style the Sentinel uses in this game). even if you keep the stances class specific (Juyo, Ataru, Shii- Cho. Etc...) at least allow players to pick their style of saber. even if it is just cosmetic. it would diversify the game a bit more. But to keep it from becoming utter chose. Lock it down. if they pick the Tonfa. They use the tonfa from there on out and let them pick that at like level 15 or allow them to play around with them at the academies so they can decide what they want and then add a feature that lets them become better with that style yet keep the basic saber available to everyone, they just can't progress in it if they didn't pick the basic saber (single) as their primary weapon. There was also a thread about making the stances look different. There are a total of 7 forms. why not put the other 4 in the game and do the same thing i suggested with the sabers. allow them to pick their primary and maybe a secondary and they then just get better at that form. maybe a separate skill tree that has all 7 available and they can put points in the form they like like but give enough points that they can have a secondary or something. Give a form point every 5 levels or so. I'm probably asking for far, far too much, But i just think these would make the game more interesting. with the exception of the form tree. most of it is just cosmetic stuff and i know you guys can do that fairly quickly given how many Emots you've added in the past recent months.
  6. I agree. I like to run alone so i spend a lot of time with my companions. i wouldn't mind a few updates to them
  7. I'm actually a hybrid clicker/keybinder and that works great for me. Mouse turning is better in PvP. in PvE it makes no real difference because your target is just going to stand there for the most part and fight you. It's in PvP the problem comes up being a clicker because you can't turn as fast. end of story. You simply can't and when your target is running around like he/she is on drugs, it's hard to keep up. (though i enjoy watching two mouse turners fight because they never seem to get a hit off). the abilities that are timed or i need to get to them fast are keybinded. the ones that are meh, but i use them a lot, i'll click. my starting abilities are also keybinded. the biggest problem is when you loss your mouse. which happens often. there are my two cents. if you're set up your UI in a way that encourages clicking (because you can change the UI around for everyone complaining about it's a bad one). And there are ways to get around mouse turners. just do what you gotta do to get the job done. it's a game. it's suppose to be fun.
  8. really? nothing? so either you're someone who is really bad and relies on their gear or you actually have no idea what you're talking about. hard work is learning and understanding your class. Lazy is gear reliant. I hate to inform you, but you're that lazy one.
  9. /Signed Drop Expertise too and bring it back to how good a player is, like Sub 55 PvP
  10. Never-mind just getting rid of Bolster. Just get rid of the Expertise system all together. it was confusing as hell then and it's confusing as hell now. change the PvP bracket so it's 10-29, 30-49 and 50+. Sub 55 PvP is much more fun because no one has to worry about this gearing issue. Expertise was non-issue. it was all about skill, that's how it should be in the first place.
  11. No. Honestly. There are 3 things i want and single target push is one of them 1. A single target push (20 second cool down. does not generate focus) 2. To get rid of dispatch and make it the saber throw the guardians have that generates focus and has a 30m range (hopefully pick this up around lv 38 and has a 9 second cool down and generates 3 focus) 3.) shorter cool down times on Master strike (sense it has to be channeled in the first place) Force Stasis (maybe knock this one to 20 seconds?) Zealous Strike (I think a 10 to 12 second cool down would be nice here sense it's our main focus builder) Pommel Strike (20 seconds again) that's all i want. I'm not asking for us to be beefed up. just a few useful abilities and shorter cool downs. it'd sure as heck help in pvp
  12. during PvE the sent is a monster. I love my class. and in PvP. if used right is also a beast. I love the sent in PvP as well. i have very few complaints actually. 1. our cool downs are ridiculously long. Zealous Strike is an important ability. drop that to like 6 seconds. master strick shouldn't be anymore then 12 seconds. we rely on our focus and when we use it all up, we're left with our basic attack. Many of our other abilities could use a 10 to 15second reduction in cool down. It's really hard to fight a sorc or a sage when their main ability has a 6 second cool down and it slows us. 2. our stones are crap. this whole "this ability does this against a strong mob but this for a week mob and has no effect in pvp" needs to change 3. Force push. it's a staple of the Jedi Knight yet it's missing. this should be a basic ability. as should the saber throw that the Guards have the guards should also have the sent's saber throw. for the force push. just work it like force sweep works but in a cone. up to 3 opponents in front of the sent. 4. and lastly we have from what i can count stuns and only 1 of them works in PvP and we have to channel it. Blade storm, Force sweep are basically useless (and 1.5 stun on force sweep is a joke. at least 2 seconds. that .5 makes a difference) It's not so much the sent is "broken" stringing combos together you can do some great stuff and great dmg. but the class needs a bit of tweaking. I'm not asking for for lightning. I'm not asking to throw random objects. I'm asking for our cool downs to be re-evaluated, this weak/strong system to be abolished and 2 abilities that should be universal to the knight class. this will help greatly and help with the squish problem we have.
