  1. Wife and I are looking for guild, I am a returning play from release. I have a lvl 50 Powertech tank geared for raiding (lvl 50) before caps were raised and currently leveling an inquisitor tank.. I have played at a hardcore level with Aegis Guild on Dalborra before leaving SWTOR a few years ago clearing all HM's, and the few raids that did exist at end-game before expansions were released. Although tbh have forgotten the strats for most of these HM's but am a quick learner. At present just leveling getting familiar with the game again. As we have just resub'd, and have begun leveling and inq assassin tank and wife is inq. dps. At lvl 29 at present, playing casually when time allows but do plan on running end game and looking for a guild who is keen to run end-game with us once we get to lvl and gear up once again. Guild does not have to be hardcore, but has to be keen to run hardmode content and have players with the ability to run end-game. We are free to raid and run HM on Fri/Sat when time allows once we get to level.
  2. If anything, I think we need more FP's like this one. Sorry mate, but I disagree with nerfs... tbh in upcoming updates I hope to find more FP's like this one or harder FP's or make the existing FP's with a HM, the NM tag with more difficulty and more mechanics...
  3. How much DPS are you guys doing Pre 1.3? In mostly Columi/modded/pvp gear i get around 600-700dps MT on bosses on normal mode operations.... Shield 46.94%, Absorb 47.45%, and Defense Chance is at 12.85% which I know DC needs a bit of improvment...
  4. Had a good read.... Tank = In regards to Tank DPS (600-720 DPS in operations full columi/battlemaster mix & few item mod changes) sometimes drops to 550's if I screw up the rotation lol.... but am fairly happy with that outcome as tank. DPS = In Tionese my first parse was 800's, and by the time I got the rotation down I was just over 1000dps... have not raided yet but was operations dummy using pyro. Maybe can do more, didnt really test more than an hour. I also hate CC if they are not required.... although looking forward to 1.3 for more threat.... lol Healers love to hate me... im the reason I didnt roll a healer.
  5. My advise is if your raid team all dont have a rotations, tell them to learn one... if your raid team dont know dps, hps, etc.... enable logs and check it out. Your raid can be in full rakata, but gear doesn't mean anything if the person in it can't use it to the raid teams advantage....
  6. Anyone find it annoying waiting for the space bar races to commense the quest or FP's that have already been completed and are being repeated?
  7. Just curious what others are parsing with their PT Tank? DPS: 670-690 (durations = 5 minutes Operation Dummy & Unbuffed) Skill Tree used in this Parse: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301G0GrdoroGRZMsbZb.1 Gear: At present I have 4 pieces of Columi Gear... (Gloves, Legs, Boots, Bracers...) I have the datacron tank relic as well as the 200 dailies Campaign Relic of the Shrouded Crusader. (All other gear is from Battlemaster PVP Set which I am replacing with PVE gear..)
  8. Off topic, but the thing I hate the most about DFA is when you go to use it on mobs near you, and it says its available to be placed and your too close.... Although the skill of knowing is half the battle lol... In regards to the nerf, I just think it needs to be a slightly larger AOE radius. The thing I like about it now, is as a tank I know the damage is restricted to where your placing the skill on the ground where as before I would have to estimate and hope I dont break the CC. Being able to use it at a location when mobs are grouped up and one is CC'd and being able to know that the CC will not break is awesome. If the radius is increased, please increase the tool tip which diplays the placement of the skill on the floor...
  9. I honestly didnt even look into the spec or aim being the primary stat... honestly because I have my spec and already know the stat stuff... However, in regards to other advise... I thought it was fairly good but I do admit I didnt read the whole guide.
  10. I am Shield Tech, since lvl 20 I haven't really owned dps gear because my focus is end-game tanking. Although I do want to get dps gear and attempt to dps once in a while but waiting on dual spec to be able to do that, if they ever do offer it in future patches. I agree that it probably would depend on the group, as to what helps where. Play what you enjoy, at the end of the day thats really what matters when you play a game. I personally enjoy being able to stay alive just long enough to protect an objective from being taken when everyone else is dead and on their way back. Although when I have 1v6 I can melt away fairly quickly without my oh **** skills and healer healing me.

  12. TBH, do Devs even play the MMO's they create? Understood some Devs probably hate the games they create.... but am sure they play other games/mmo's to compare what they have created in the first place. Honestly who had this crap idea that 4 bars is enough? When I got to lvl 20's I thought to myself... this surely is a joke. /Signed.
  13. I do agree with server merges.... that's what I like about the Oceanic server tbh. It allowed us to merge to one server of our choice and there was only one PVP, one PVE, and one RP to choose from.... Haven't really heard much issues with queue times either. if they had launched Australia at the beginning, I am sure there would have been 3 of each server and the same issues as the US and EU servers losing population. Have a feeling they will implement server merges and close down a few servers once they figure out how to implement automatic server transfers.
  14. On a side note, I do agree about merc heals.... if given the chance to use guard on an operative or merc..... I put the bubble on operative. Not to be an *** but because the whole group will survive longer if the operative stays up... Its just something I notice when in PVP compared no ops in the group and I am guarding a merc healer.
  15. Appreciate the advise, I use Guard all the time as a tank. I dont taunt as much as I probably should but didnt really think about how well it could help healers out there in PVP warzones. Quick question if anyone knows... does sonic missle reduce damage of 30% to all targets in range? IE, Description in game basically states: Neural Dart makes enemy players damage 30% less unless they attack you for 6 sec. Sonic Missle makes enemy players damage reduced unless they attack you for 6 sec..
