No, I won't fix your PC.
  1. Sometime during November and December, I noticed my video card temps were much higher and my system fans were running at a higher rate. I play another MMORPG and lost my display in the middle of healing a raid. I went to check the HDMI cable and before I got to it, I could feel the heat coming off my case. I was running with an open case with a fan blowing into it for a while. After I updated to the 441.87 drivers, the issue went away. I'm running a GTX 1070. A friend with a 1060 had the same experience. Might be your issue, might not. Power supply is another potential item to look at.
  2. First, I'd like to thank you all for your replies. As I mentioned to a few of you that I've had the chance to respond to, I travel pretty regularly for my job and for that reason, drop off the radar for a few days to a week at a time. I just got home from one of those trips and I still haven't read all the PMs and replies, but will get around to them. I've got enough to look at for quite some time. Thanks again!
  3. Can't kill this thread, but posted it in the recruitment section.
  4. One of the hardest things to find in WoW was a raiding group that was mature. The kind with a common goal and focusing primarily on that. One that refrained from divisive topics like religion and politics in guild chat, geared up in instances and read up on the fights to prepare for the raids, knew their classes (but would offer polite advice to those that didn't), didn't start with finger pointing and name calling during wipes when raiding, learned from those experiences and did better the next time until we had the boss on farm. Rinse and repeat on the heroics. All the while, having the understanding that many of us have families, jobs, and lives outside the game. There are two of us actively playing TOR now, but have three or four others (average years of play is 7) interested in finding an established guild here with the same traits on Shadowlands. PvP isn't a concern or attraction, but end-game content is. Either faction or both will do, but have gravitated toward the Sith side (we were mostly Alliance on WoW). We use Mumble, but do not use open mic. We don't want to hear anyone sing (no matter how good you may think you are), whatever music (being liberal with that) you listen to, yelling or being yelled at, or your bodily functions. Note: mature isn't a knock necessarily toward the younger ones, but as adult MMO players, we've seen enough and had enough of that drama. We know there are good younger players, but they are certainly exception to the rule. If this fits your guild, we'd be glad to talk.

    Wrong post.
  7. Gonna move this to guild recruitment. Somehow missed that forum when searching.

  9. Fully agree. The whole legacy system is half-baked. They released the legacy system WELL AFTER all my alts are beyond the ability to use these low-level items. These are completely worthless items to me and yet another reason I'm glad I cancelled my sub to this game. I'm just sorry I paid for 6 months up front and bought the CE edition. It's better than SWG, but still has a long way to go.
