  1. Could you be any more of a hypocrite? If you were good at your class, then you shouldn't be worried about operatives who are about to nerfed...again.
  2. Don't forget: -3% crit to healing and damage (Lethality) -2% on shiv (Razor Edge). -2% endurance (Inclement Conditioning)
  3. Yes, because players are going to spend the time to reroll on a more populated server after they've invested so much time on the current one, rather than just quit and play something else. Try to think outside your own narrow little view of the world.
  4. Honestly, when soloing, I found it annoying. And when in PvP or group play, I was too busy to notice it. I don't need it to know when I have TA. If I just cast Injection, I know I have TA. If I just used Shiv, I know I have TA. Other than that, it's not hard to look and see if it's up. I don't even look at my buffs. If SP is available, I know I have it.
  5. This thread is pointless. Do people honestly believe that the devs didn't realize that Cloaking Screen could give OPs an incombat rez? Feign Death like abilities aren't new. Lots of games have them. And lots of games have ways to rez people while out of combat. Back in the day on my hunter in WoW, I regularly used FD + Jumper Cables to rez people (not sure if it's still possible, haven't played in a long time). One time while we were fighting the last boss in Zul'Gurub, another hunter tried to use his cables to rez one of the healers. It didn't work and he disappeared. He had his Ultrasafe Transporter equipped instead of his cables and ended up in Gadgetzan.
  6. No. Just remove the stupid cover requirement and I'll be happy.
  7. Not to mention that if we want to actually get away, we have to use Evasion to clear dots before using Cloaking Screen. Toxin Scan doesn't remove force effects. Neither one works against tracers.
  8. It was most likely the first time the other player had been attacked in OW PVP. He wasn't expecting it and reacted by running. In a situation where he's expecting trouble, I'm sure it would have been different.
  9. People hate Concealment stuns. Healers don't get Jarring Strike. We don't get a root on Sever Tendon. And we certainly can't do as much damage. Like I said, the numbers could be tweaked. And yes, I have used SP many times on targets below 30%. Maybe what I suggested is too strong, but it's not like you could use all 4 of those effects at once. You'd have to choose. A lot of other ACs have similar types of abilities. We have a serious lack of abilities which make other abilities better. Again, the numbers can be tweaked. Make it 5 and 10% for all I care. But it seemed to me like something that could add a fun dynamic to the class.
  10. Conversely, OPs use a lot of buttons in PvP, unless you're just healbotting. There are easily 30 keybinds that I use in PvP, some more than others. But it would be nice if they could make healing more involved. I miss playing my Disciple in Vanguard. That was a fun healing class.
  11. How about replacing Med Shield with: Power Boost (2 point talent) Each successful heal fills a power cell (each tick of KP or RN counts as heal). After 30 cells have been filled, the Operative can engage a Power Boost, which will consume all 30 cells and produce the following effects: Empower the next Debilitate to affect 1 / 2 additional targets within 5 meters of the primary target. Empower the next Kolto Infusion to heal for 15 / 30% more. Empower the next Explosive Probe to do 15 / 30% more damage. Empower the next Shield Probe to absorb 15 / 30% more damage. This would give us a bit more utility/damage, a bit more defense, and make Infusion a bit more useful. The numbers could be tweaked.
  12. I think it basically just removes the 15% movement penalty from stealth.
  13. I think more than anything, most ops would be happy if we had a bit more utility. In that regard, we don't come close to what other classes have. Buff shield probe and give us some kind of gap closer and I think most ops would be satisfied.
  14. So then what's the point of even testing? Why bother putting it on the PTS?
  15. You've offered nothing that shows that bringing 3 sorcs isn't optimal.
  16. Meh, 5% more BS damage, 2% less Shiv damage and 3% less crit to healing and damage. I don't count that as a win. At least they buffed RN.
  17. Stun me and I can't cast Surgical Probe no matter how many TA I have. And even SP spam doesn't always keep up with the damage, even from a single player, with the damage some players can put out. Even if you don't kill me, I'm running for my life and not healing anyone else. If I use CS, that's another 15 seconds I'll have to waste to heal myself back to full, assuming I actually get away. Yes, any healer can be tough to kill, and they should be. We have very little damage. The only thing that gives us a chance in 1 vs 1 is our healing. And the only buff we really got was to RN, but we lost 3% crit on both healing and damage. The extra 6 seconds and extra stack of TA won't make an appreciable difference in our survivability.
  18. Yes, I'm sure that's why they buffed the burst damage and nerfed the sustained damage. Oh wait...
  19. Happened to me yesterday. Couple minutes left in the game. We were losing, but at least I was going to get some valor and commendations, or so I thought. Then suddenly I'm at the character loading screen. I log back in and, although I wasn't dead, I was at Vaiken with no way to get back into the match.
  20. Because it is so horribly imbalanced. On my server, there are more imps than pubs. Most of the time in Ilum there would be 20+ imps camping 10 or less pubs at their base. That's not fun or productive. They'll bring it back when (if) they can make it actually worth doing.
  21. No, it's not useless. Every game has threat reduction abilities which work exactly the same way. If you are using a tank companion, that companion will have a taunt ability which will pull agro off you. Make sure your companion has their taunt set to autocast. When in a group, you should be making sure to manage your threat so you don't pull agro. Part of that is using your threat reduction before you draw agro rather than after.
  22. Can someone also confirm how many ticks for RN? Is it 3? Amazed if it's 6, but I doubt it.
  23. Yeah, but you guys at least had people harrassing their healers the whole time, which meant less heals for the guys you were really trying to kill.
  24. My OP is Med specced in champ gear. RN currently lasts for 15 seconds and ticks 5 times for 450 per tick. That's 2250 HP over 15 seconds, 150 hps. After the patch, it's 2475 in 6 seconds, 412.5 hps. And that's without crits and without having TA up. Can anyone confirm how many times the new RN ticks? Is it 3?
  25. Hard to tell much from the video, but your healers seemed to be healing unopposed most of the time.
