This game wasn't developed with future addon support in mind so don't ever expect it to have them. I do wish we had a user defined spam filtering system though. The gold selling bots are rampant every single day and having to purge your ignore list 1 by 1 every other day bc it gets full from a few mins in a city is ridiculous.

Weak and pathetic. The ability to add new strings that spammers come up with is nor weak or pathetic. When I said word I didn't really mean just words, I basically meant strings which could be letters, numbers and/or symbols. Who cares if they add a space(s) into their url. You could add space(s) into your strings or have the way the chat filter work, remove all spaces in message and look for your string(s). Yes, various games have a pre-defined list for swear words but, swear words don't change so it's a pretty straightforward list to use. Gold selling websites popup all the time and change, not to mention they get fancy and use spaces and/or numbers to make out their urls. As for your issue with places such as Sc*nthorpe, well that would be up to the user to add that word to their filter list which I doubt many would. Remember, I'm not asking for the developers to make up their own list, I want the players to be able to define their own lists.

Since this game doesn't have addon support and never will we really need something developed from the devs. I suggest adding a section in the Preferences > Chat where you can add words to a list and if you receive mail or any type of chat (say, yell, general, etc) with any strings from that list it automatically gets filtered. It's a very tedious task to clear your ignore list 1 by 1 that gets filled up very quickly when you spend any amount of time in a city. Multiply this task by however many characters you decide to play in a day. IGFans and GamerEasy can die in a hellacious fire.

The fault is on both Bioware and the player. - Some players ignore the opposing faction while questing and these are the types of players that help ruin it. If you're on a pvp server and you fall under this type of player you're on the wrong server. - These are the types of players that are at fault. - The way the 2 factions are setup on contested planets is horrible. The only way to fight the other faction while questing is pretty much by doing the bonus series to the planet and I'm sure many skip this part as you'll really out level the next planet when you get to it. - This is the fault of Bioware. - Ilum was decent to an extent when the level cap was 50. You got decent amounts of valor for capturing everything. Then came valor adjustments for Ilum to make it more appealing. Bioware messed up in their changes to the extent that it was more beneficial to get valor ranks by having groups form up and trade off killing eachothers groups after capping the nodes than by grinding warzones. You can blame players for exploiting this (myself included) as well as Bioware for screwing the pooch. - No bonuses for world pvp, well you can thank Bioware for the Ilum mishaps for that.

The cover mechanic is the whole niche to that advanced class so I would say it's fine. I don't know if you tried but, have you tried going behind them and using your silence you're talking about? I ask because cover is actually just a frontal cone ability and only protects attacks from the front so the silence may work from behind.

You have full control of which server you wanted to roll on and if you didn't bc you were apart of a guild then you understood you would have to play in that timezone with that guild. I'm sure they will have server transfers later down the road and I doubt it will be free like Rift.

Yeah he is only a top ranked troll. I gave this video the benefit of the doubt and watched it all the way through. Throughout the 12mins of footage he was never pressured aside from 2 times where his group was being killed. You were attacked here and there but, most of those republic players were much lesser geared thus making the random damage some of them threw at you not even matter much. The rest of the time the republic players went after the dps in your group instead of you. This doesn't show skill but a lack thereof from the republic side. Your team of 5 people had 3 people with at least some battlemaster gear whereas republic were in mainly centurion/champion/quest gear. The best part about any and all of your videos since I've watched one of yours before when you claimed in some other thread how you thwarted an entire guild is how you always are in queue and bail when you're going to die. People should go watch that video as well since you bragged about killing about 10 people at the temple in Voss where none of them were above lvl25 while you were in your low 40s and not a single 1 went after you while you picked them off and then bragged. We finally get to see you 1vs1 people at the very end of this video but what do you know, there's only 1 50 that you killed twice and from the looks of it you outgeared him. The rest of the people you killed were 43-48 with 1 or 2 49s. I sure hope you could kill people in quest gear with your battlemaster gear! You can sit in denial and gloat about this or that but, when you place all the facts of your videos out on the table anyone can see that you're average at best.

A simple fix for this would be to add an option in the interface options to change the opacity for the gcd animation. I was fine with the old system and welcome change but, this new change is an inconvenience.

I do find this whole thread pretty amusing. There was someone saying how long it takes to get the datacrons. The only one that takes a lot of time is the balloon ride in Tatooine. There is no way Bioware should place alternative datacrons for people that have poor coordination. The datacrons are there to award players that can handle the various tasks required. I guess perhaps the alternative datacrons should just be placed in a single line so you can just go down the line and get the bonuses.

Did you get that chest piece on Hoth? The commendation vendor if I remember right only sells helmets. I still haven't done 2 heroic quests so I guess it could be from there.

You all have bad experiences with Bowdaar mainly bc like someone else said, replace his gear. My experiences with him is Corso is only slightly better in very few situations. I had a buddy complain that his r2d2 was complete crap and then me being a cybertech I made him some gear and now he loves how much of a beating it can take and the damage it does. The same goes for all of your companions. Keep them geared alongside yourself and you will never have issues with any. As for people saying Akavi is a better tank, she is not a tank.
