  1. Yup. Esseles/BT pops, leave group, log to alt, roll the dice again. Should not be part of the general FP pool in group finder. They're garbage boring flashpoints and a general waste of time.
  2. Just replace their cannons with water guns, since they can't contribute to DPS they can at least contribute to general moisture levels of the team (i play merc too, don't hurt me)
  3. There's no "playing your way" outside of story and heroics, in all other content you either have the correct stats/rotation or you get carried. Subjective enjoyment is out of the window when there's cold hard math involved (i added an emoji to not seem confrontational i hope it helps)
  4. Don't you people have alts? I mean... Gear is legacy bound. Just use the meta class, it's not like anyone who has played this game for years doesn't have 20+ alts.... Being an "X" main is cringe.
  5. I don't generally mind HS and RR but oh boy the people who exclusively play them are terrible in other flashpoints. When Objective Meridian or Crisis On Umbara pops and the entire group are Hammer Station Academy graduates I know I'm in for a ride, they usually have no idea what they're doing. Easy flashpoints don't push you to learn your class properly and you just become a burden on others even if you're in full 306 gear that you slept through HS to get. I'd take a good player in Ossus 252 gear than Hammer Station noob in 306, honestly. Also, yesterday was a funny example: a sorc with only HS achievement kept pulling me to the tunnel entrance during the first boss and told me I don't know how to tank. I didn't even need his healing I play sin and I can self cleanse and dcd everything the boss does...
  6. merc healer here, that flashpoint is no problem whatsoever, especially since it doesn't scale you down. If other players handle the adds properly it's easy.
  7. Give them some slack guys, it's a small indie dev team, they don't have the infrastructure of big companies like EA... Oh wait
  8. I like healing random MM flashpoints and I follow a few simple rules: 1. Communicate. Always say hello and participate in some basic banter to check if the group can communicate in case there's gonna be a need to discuss tactics. 2. Check achievements. As healer I like to check at least the tanks achievements if we're doing one of the harder FP's, just in case. If people are obvious Hammer Station graduates we discuss tactics before moving forward. 3. Votekick toxic dps. I honestly don't have patience for snarky dps who play badly and blame tank or me when they just stand in aoe, attack gold mobs instead of clearing weak trash first or do other derpy things like jumping in before tank. They're easy to replace, so I enjoy the idea of them getting kicked and waiting another 40 mins for a pop . (I don't mean new players who wanna learn, those are fine, I mean the ones who suck and think they're pros) 4. No drama. If someone is being toxic I just put them on ignore, I don't wanna take part in online sperging. We're complete strangers so I don't know your playstyle and your favorite shortcuts/tactics, either discuss beforehand or stop complaining. Honestly, it's rare to get a bad run, people mostly are cool and polite, I haven't experienced many of those horror stories people keep posting on these forums. You sometimes get angsty edgelords who think they know everything, but that's maybe 1 in 20 runs, at least for me.
  9. Now I get why this expansion is called Onslaught, because it's an Onslaught of Noobs... I don't mean "new players", I mean clueless people with no desire to learn... So many times I had groups with people who never say a word, ignore instructions, tanks in dps gear, or I keep getting groups of ppl who have 2% FP achievements and dont have the decency to inform that they never done it before... As someone who enjoys queueing for group finder, it feels more like russian roulette
  10. Well, Warframe has useful events that only happen a few times a day, so the app is good to check if the events are happening ( like Nitain alerts, god i hate farming Nitain), also most crafting things take from 8 to 72 hours to craft, so the app is mostly used to check your crafting progress.
  11. I'd say get off your high horse and let people do what they want in their nerdy sci-fi MMO experience, mkay
  12. I'd still recommend Sorc, easiest to play, especially if you're new. Even with the nerf it's perfectly fine since healing in general is OP as balls in this game.
